Product Usage Instructions

1. Product Overview

The Speaki Bluetooth Speaker features LED indicator, power button, play button, volume up and down buttons, UNISYNCTM button, LED battery indicator, USB-C input port, and a 3.5mm aux input port.

2. Quick Start Guide – Turning Speaki On/Off

To power on, long press the power button for 2 seconds. To power off, long press the power button for 2 seconds. Speaki will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of no Bluetooth or 3.5mm aux connection.

3. Quick Start Guide – Connecting via 3.5mm AUX Cable

To play audio using the aux cable, connect it from the Speaki to your device. The LED indicator will change to red. Press ‘play’ on your device to start playing audio.

4. Quick Start Guide – Connecting via Bluetooth

  1. Press the power button for approximately two seconds to enter pairing mode.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone/music device.
  3. Select ‘Speaki’ from the available devices to pair.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and the speaker will announce Bluetooth connected.
  5. Enjoy your music!

5. Quick Start Guide – Charging Your Speaki

Remove the port cover on the back to reveal the USB-C input port. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to a power source for charging

Q: How do I reset Bluetooth pairing on Speaki?

A: Hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to forget all devices and initiate Bluetooth pairing mode again.

QUICK START GUIDE

TURNING SPEAKI ON/OFF

To power on, long press the power button for 2 seconds. Speaki will announce “power on” whilst the LED indicator light at the top will light up. It will flash blue/red until a Bluetooth connection has been established. To power off, long press the power button for 2 seconds. The speaker will announce “power off” with the LED indicator also turning off. To preserve battery, Speaki will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of no Bluetooth or 3.5mm aux connection.

CONNECTING VIA 3.5MM AUX CABLE

To play audio using the aux cable, connect the cable from the Speaki to your device. The LED indicator light will change to a solid red. Speaki will play the audio when you press ‘play’ on your device. Please note: Using 3.5mm aux input will override a Bluetooth source input

CONNECTING VIA BLUETOOTH

  1. Press the power button for approximately two seconds. The LED indicator light will flash blue and red to indicate Speaki is ready for pairing.*
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone/ music device.**
  3. ’Speaki’ will appear on your mobile phone/music  device. Select ‘Speaki’ to pair.
  4. Once your mobile phone/music device is connected to the Speaki speaker, the LED indicator light will change to a solid blue, and the speaker will announce “Bluetooth connected”.***

Enjoy your music.

  • Speaki will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when turned on for the first time. To reset Bluetooth pairing, hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to forget all devices and initiate Bluetooth pairing mode again.
  • If you are not familiar with Bluetooth pairing for your mobile phone or music device, refer to the user guide for your mobile phone/music device for instructions to pair a new device using Bluetooth.
  • Speaki will always store the last device paired and if the device is within Bluetooth range, Speaki will automatically connect to the device

CHARGING YOUR SPEAKI

  1. Remove the port cover on the back of the speaker, and connect the speaker via the USB-C port to the USB-A power source, using the included charging cable.
  2. The LED battery indicator will flash from one to four LEDs to indicate Speaki is charging. The lights will stop flashing once Speaki is fully charged. A full charge will take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on the speed of the charger. Once charged, remove the charge cable and replace the port cover. Please note: Speaki will announce “low battery” when the battery level reaches approximately 10%.

  • 2 second long press – reject call
  • 2 presses – Siri/Google

VOLUME UP BUTTON

  • 1 press – volume up
  • 2 second long press – next track

VOLUME DOWN BUTTON

  • 1 press – volume down
  • 2 second long press – restart track
  • 2 second long press x2 – previous track

UNISYNCTM BUTTON

  • 1 press – cycle through UNISYNC functions (UNISYNC mode/UNISYNC audio/UNISYNC disabled)
  • 2 second long press – disconnects Bluetooth (device remains paired to Speaki)
  • 6-second long press – resets UNISYNC and Bluetooth connection (device will need to be repaired)

OPERATING CONTROLS

CONNECTING MULTIPLE SPEAKERS VIA UNISYNCTM

Using the UNISYNC feature you can connect up to 50 UNISYNC compatible speakers. In this example, your Speaki is your primary device. To connect a replica, short press the UNISYNC button on your primary speaker once to enter UNISYNC mode. Once the primary announces it is in UNISYNC mode, repeat on the replica. After thereplica announces it is in UNISYNC mode, press theUNISYNC button on the replica device once more – the replica will announce it is using UNISYNC audio. The primary speaker will show a solid blue light while replicas will show a flashing red and blue light. To exit UNISYNC mode, press the UNISYNC button until you hear UNISYNC disabled.* Press and hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to reset the UNISYNC function.**

  • If UNISYNC is disabled, Speaki will disconnect from but remember the replicas connected to it.
  • Resetting UNISYNC will enable Speaki to ‘forget’ all replica devices and Bluetooth connections.

MULTIPOINT CONNECTION

Multipoint is a feature that allows Speaki to connect to two Bluetooth devices at once. This means that you can listen to music from one device, whilst still hearing notifications and receiving calls from another device.

To set up Multipoint:

  1. Connect your first Bluetooth device.
  2. Hold down the UNISYNC button for 2 seconds to disconnect Bluetooth.
  3. Connect your second Bluetooth device.
  4. Hold down the power button for 2 seconds and turn off Speaki.
  5. Hold down the power button for 2 seconds and turn on Speaki. Speaki will announce “Bluetooth connected” twice. Speaki will play audio from the last device it receives a command from, but it will treat the device with calls and notifications as priority.
