Product Usage Instructions

Quick Start Guide – Connecting via 3.5mm Aux Cable

To play audio using the aux cable:

  1. Connect the cable from the Soundwave Pro to your device.
  2. The LED indicator light will change to a solid red.
  3. Press ‘play’ on your device to start playing audio.

Quick Start Guide – Connecting via Bluetooth

To connect via Bluetooth:

  1. Press the power button for approximately two seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone or music device.
  3. Select ‘Soundwave Pro’ from the available devices on your phone to pair.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and the speaker will announce ‘Bluetooth connected’.
  5. You can now enjoy your music.

Charging Your Soundwave Pro

To charge your speaker:

  1. Remove the port cover on the back of the speaker to reveal the USB-C input port.
  2. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to a power source and the speaker.
  3. The LED battery indicator will show the charging status.

FAQ

  • Q: How do I reset Bluetooth pairing on the Soundwave Pro?
    A: Hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to forget all devices and initiate Bluetooth pairing mode again.

  • Q: Can the Soundwave Pro be used as a power bank?
    A: Yes, the Soundwave Pro has a USB-A output port that can supply up to 5V/2A (10W) for charging other devices. The LED battery indicator will show the remaining power level.

QUICK START GUIDE

TURNING SOUNDWAVE PRO ON/OFF

  • To power on, long press the power button for 2 seconds. Soundwave Pro will announce “power on” whilst the LED indicator light at the top will light up. It will flash blue/red until a Bluetooth connection has been established.
  • To power off, long press the power button for 2 seconds. The speaker will announce “power off” with the LED indicator also turning off.
  • To preserve the battery, Soundwave Pro will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of no Bluetooth or 3.5mm aux connection.

CONNECTING VIA 3.5MM AUX CABLE

  • To play audio using the aux cable, connect the cable from the Soundwave Pro to your device. The LED indicator light will change to a solid red. Soundwave Pro will play the audio when you press ‘play’ on your device.
  • Please note: Using a 3.5mm aux input will override a Bluetooth source input.

CONNECTING VIA BLUETOOTH

  1. Press the power button for approximately two seconds. The LED indicator light will flash blue and red to indicate Soundwave Pro is ready for pairing*
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone/music device**
  3. ’Soundwave Pro’ will appear on your mobile phone/music device. Select ‘Soundwave Pro’ to pair
  4. Once your mobile phone/music device is connected to the Soundwave Pro speaker, the LED indicator light will change to a solid blue, and the speaker will announce “Bluetooth connected”***
  5. Enjoy your music
    • Soundwave Pro will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when turned on for the first time. To reset Bluetooth pairing, hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to forget all devices and initiate Bluetooth pairing mode again.
    • If you are not familiar with Bluetooth pairing for your mobile phone or music device, refer to the user guide for your mobile phone/music device for instructions to pair a new device using Bluetooth.
    • Soundwave Pro will always store the last device paired and if the device is within Bluetooth range, Soundwave Pro will automatically connect to the device.

CHARGING YOUR SOUNDWAVE PRO

  1. Remove the port cover on the back of the speaker, and connect the speaker via the USB-C port to the USB-A power source, using the included charging cable
  2. The LED battery indicator will flash from one to four LEDs to indicate Soundwave Pro is charging. The lights will stop flashing once Soundwave Pro is fully charged. A full charge will take approximately 4-5 hours, depending on the speed of the charger. Once charged, remove the charging cable and replace the port cover.

Please note:
Soundwave Pro will announce “low battery” when the battery level reaches approximately 10%.

POWER BUTTON

  • 2-second long press – power on/power off
  • 4-second long press – power on + Bluetooth pairing

PLAY BUTTON

  • 1 press – play/pause/answer call/end call
  • 2-second long press – reject the call
  • 2 presses – Siri/Google

VOLUME UP BUTTON

  • 1 press – volume up
  • 2-second long press – next track

VOLUME DOWN BUTTON

  • 1 press – volume down
  • 2-second long press – restart track
  • 2-second long press x2 – previous track

UNISYNCTM BUTTON

  • 1 press – cycle through UNISYNC functions (UNISYNC mode/UNISYNC audio/UNISYNC disabled)
  • 2-second long press – disconnects Bluetooth (device remains paired to Soundwave Pro)
  • 6-second long press – resets UNISYNC and Bluetooth connection (the device will need to be repaired)

CONNECTING MULTIPLE SPEAKERS VIA UNISYNCTM

  • Using the UNISYNC feature you can connect up to 50 UNISYNC compatible speakers. In this example, your Soundwave Pro is your primary device.
  • To connect a replica, short press the UNISYNC button on your primary speaker once to enter UNISYNC mode. Once the primary announces it is in UNISYNC mode, repeat on the replica. After the replica announces it is in UNISYNC mode, press the UNISYNC button on the replica device once more – the replica will announce it is using UNISYNC audio.
  • The primary speaker will show a solid blue light while replicas will show a flashing red and blue light.
  • To exit UNISYNC mode, press the UNISYNC button until you hear UNISYNC disabled.*
  • Press and hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to reset the UNISYNC function.**
    • If UNISYNC is disabled, Soundwave Pro will disconnect from but remember the replicas connected to it.
    • Resetting UNISYNC will enable Soundwave Pro to ‘forget’ all replica devices and Bluetooth connections.

POWERBANK
Soundwave Pro comes with a USB-A output port, which is capable of supplying up to 5V⎓2A (10W). Whilst charging another device, the LED battery indicator lights will flash. The number of lights flashing will indicate how much charge is remaining in the speaker’s powerbank.

MULTIPOINT CONNECTION
Multipoint is a feature that allows Soundwave Pro to connect to two Bluetooth devices at once. This means that you can listen to music from one device, whilst still hearing notifications and receiving calls from another device.

To set Multipoint:

  1. Connect your first Bluetooth device
  2. Hold down the UNISYNC button for 2 seconds to disconnect Bluetooth
  3. Connect your second Bluetooth device
  4. Hold down the power button for 2 seconds and turn off Soundwave Pro
  5. Hold down the power button for 2 seconds and turn on Soundwave Pro

Soundwave Pro will announce “Bluetooth connected” twice. Soundwave Pro will play audio from the last device it receives a command from, but it will treat the device with calls and notifications as a priority.

  5. Ensure that you can hear and are aware of any potential hazards around you when you are enjoying your Soundwave Pro speaker
