Product Usage Instructions

Mounting the Fixture:

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
  2. Remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
  3. Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts in a clean area.
  4. Assemble the fixture components according to Fig.1.
  5. Secure the large shade, small shade, and crossbar as instructed.
  6. Attach the crossbar to the junction box using the provided mounting screws.

Connecting the Wires:

  1. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2.
  2. If a ground wire is present in the junction box, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect directly to the crossbar using the green screw provided.
  3. Neatly tuck wire connectors into the junction box.

Finishing the Installation:

  1. Secure the canopy over the screws and knobs provided.
  2. Place candle covers over sockets.
  3. Install the recommended bulbs, ensuring not to exceed the maximum wattage rating.

FAQ:

  • Q: Can I use bulbs other than candelabra base bulbs in this fixture?
    A: Yes, you can use CFL or LED equivalent bulbs as long as they do not exceed 60 watts each.

  • Q: What should I do if my junction box does not have a ground wire?
    A: In such a case, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the crossbar using the green screw provided.

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.

  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.

  3. Screw rod (I) to all thread (M) on the fixture body, then screw rod (I) to all thread (N) on large shade (F). Pass the wires carefully through rod as you assemble.

  4. Place large shade (F) on small shade (G) and secure with screws (E).

  5. Thread screws (A) into pre-drilled holes on the crossbar (B) spaced the same distance apart as holes in the canopy (D). The length of screws (A) may be adjusted, if necessary.

  6. Attach crossbar (B) to junction box (not included) using mounting screws (C) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”). The side of the crossbar (B) marked “GND” must face out.

  7. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the crossbar (B) using the green screw provided.

  8. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
    FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1)

  9. Place canopy (D) over screws (A) and secure with knurled knobs (H).

  10. Place candle covers (K) over sockets (L).

  11. Install (5) five candelabra base bulbs (J) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included), by the fixture specification—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!). Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
