ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Preparation
Read all the manuals provided thoroughly, and compare the content of your product shipment to the part list (s) to ensure that all parts are present. Assemble the product by completing all the steps in accordance with the assembly instructions. The trampoline should be assembled at least by two persons of which one should be an adult. Use gloves to protect your hands from injury during assembly. Pay careful attention to hand position when connecting tubes and handling springs (pinch point).

Trampoline placement
When deciding on where to place your trampoline, consider the following:

  • Above the trampoline, there must be a minimum of 24 feet (7,3 m) clear space from ground level. Provide clearance for wires, tree limbs, and other possible obstacles.
  • Place the trampoline on a level surface at least 6 feet (2 m) from any structure such as walls, fences, vehicles, equipment, and other play areas. Maintain a clear space on all sides of the trampoline.
  • Do not install the trampoline over hard surfaces such as concrete, asphalt or bricks nor at the proximity of other conflicting installations (e.g. paddling pools, swings, slides, climbing frames).
  • Use the trampoline in a well-lit area.
  • Secure the trampoline and enclosure against unauthorized and unsupervised use.
  • Normal trampolines are not intended to be buried into the ground to become sunken trampolines.

Moving the trampoline
At least two adults are required to move the trampoline. It can be moved by lifting it simultaneously from both ends and moving it in the desired direction. If necessary to move longer distances, the trampoline should be disassembled and moved in parts.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Trampoline inspection
Be sure to inspect and do maintenance on the main parts (frame, suspension system, mat, and padding) at the beginning of each season and also at regular intervals. Note that sunlight, rain, snow and extreme temperature reduce the strength of these parts over time. If the checks are not done, the trampoline could become dangerous. If you find any of the following issues, or anything else that you feel could cause harm to any user, the trampoline should be disassembled and use should be discontinued until the issues have been resolved. Make sure to replace defective or missing parts. Retain this manual for future reference.

Check the following before each use:

  • All joints, nuts, and bolts for tightness. Tighten if necessary.
  • All spring loaded (pit pin) joints are still intact and cannot become dislodged during play.
  • All coverings and sharp edges and replace when required.
  • Check that mat, padding and enclosure are without defects.
  • Make sure that the hook-and-loop fasteners are closed correctly during use of the trampoline.

Please be aware of:

  • Loose stitching, punctures, holes, tears or any kind of defects in the mat.
  • Sagging trampoline mat.
  • Bent, broken, or missing frame parts (such as legs) or springs.
  • Damaged, missing or improperly attached spring pad.
  • Protrusions of any types (especially sharp ones) on the frame, spring or mat.

WINDY CONDITIONS: The trampoline should be equipped with an ACON anchor set to prevent displacement due to wind. In strong wind conditions always remove the safety net, jumping mat, and other wind-catching parts/accessories.
WINTER AND SNOW: In certain countries during the winter periods, the snow load and the very low tem- peratures can damage the trampoline. It is recommended to remove the snow and store the mat, springs, the padding and the enclosure indoors.
STORAGE: It is recommended to store the parts indoors during the off- season for longer durability. Soft parts such as padding should be stored at room temperature and kept away from moisture. They must be thoroughly dried before storage to avoid mold.
CLEANING: The frame tubes, the padding, and enclosure pole sleeves can be cleaned by wiping them with mild detergent. Make sure that you clean all detergent residue from the parts. When cleaning the jumping mat, first remove the debris with a broom. The remaining dirt can be cleaned with a garden hose and cold water. The trampoline can dry naturally in the sun.
DISASSEMBLY: To disassemble the trampoline, follow the assembly instructions in reverse order. Use gloves to protect your hands.

JUMPING EXERCISES
Learn basic bounces before moving on to more difficult, advanced bounces. Before actually getting on and using the trampoline, you should read and understand all safety instructions. A complete discussion and demonstration of body mechanics and trampoline guidelines should occur between the supervisor and the jumper as well. In rectangular trampolines, face towards one of the short ends.

  1. The basic bounce
Stand in the middle of the mat, feet apart body stretched, and eyes on the mat. Extend your feet when bouncing. Bring your feet together while in mid-air and point your toes downward. When landing on the mat keep feet shoulder-width apart. Bend your knees when landing to stop your jump. Use your arms to maintain your balance. A controlled jump is considered landing on the same spot that you took off from.

  2. Knee bounce
Start with the basic bounce and keep it low. Land on your knees keeping your back straight, body erect, and use your arms to maintain balance. Bounce back to the basic bounce position by swinging your arms up.

  3. Front bounce
Start with the front bounce position. Land in a prone (face down) position and keep hands and arms extended forward on the mat. Push off the mat with arms to return to a standing position.

  4. Front bounce
Start with the front bounce position. Land in a prone (face down) position and keep hands and arms extended forward on the mat. Push off the mat with arms to return to a standing position.
