Care and safety
-
Follow all instructions in the manual for assembling and installing the product.
-
LGPD – Data processing by Intelbras: Intelbras does not access, transfer, capture or perform any type of processing of personal data from this product.
-
Confirm that the installation location is stable and free from flickering.
-
Wireless communication technology, when exposed to environments with high power radiation, may suffer interference and have its performance impaired.
Example : locations near TV towers, AM/FM radio stations, amateur radio stations etc. -
For your safety, test the product and systems at least once a week. This is necessary due to changing environmental conditions, low battery. Take all necessary precautions for the safety and protection of your property.
-
In order to protect a door or window, it is recommended to use only one XAS 4010 SMART sensor, thus making the installation more economical and free from interference during signal transmission..
-
Avoid installing the sensor directly under metal surfaces so that there are no changes in its operating features.
Notice!
It is important to note that this product has the function of transmitting
information to the alarm panel whenever an event occurs on the device (opening
a door, window etc.), therefore, its use should be recommended for
environments with medium circulation of people or medium daily transmissions.
If you use it in environments with large circulation and consequently a large
number of transmissions, your battery may be compromised. Here is some
information for proper usage guidance
Note : for the best performance of XAS Smart and XAS Smart Black, Intelbras recommends the use of good quality batteries.

- SMD Reed switch
- Transmission frequency 433.92 MHz – HT6P20
Modulation configuration
The XAS 4010 SMART sensor comes from factory with OOK modulation. To change the modulation from OOK to FSK, simply remove the battery from the sensor, cut the track (FSK) indicated on the board by a small arrow (figure A) and then return the battery to its original position. Once this is done, the sensor will start operating in the FSK mode. Changing the FSK mode to OOK mode (factory default) is also simple, just remove the battery from the sensor, reconnect the two pads of the FSK track indicated on the board by the arrow and return the battery to its original position. Once this is done, the sensor will resume operating in OOK mode.
Installation
Open the sensor by removing the back cover, insert the battery, then choose the position where the sensor will be installed. After chosen, use screws or double-faced tape for its fixation. If you are going to use the double-faced tape, stick it on the back cover of the sensor, then fix the two parts in the place you want to protect, observing the correct position of the sensor (image 01).
The sensor must be positioned as shown in the figure, so that the magnet is in
contact with the SMD Reed Switch.
Note : for closing and opening the SMD Reed Switch, some average
distances must be respected.
- Reed Switch opening: move the magnet away at an average distance between 8 mm and 12 mm.
- Closing the Reed Switch: bring the magnet closer to an average distance between 6 mm and 10 mm.
Configuration
Register the sensor code in the alarm panel to be used (Check the procedure in the alarm panel manual). In order for the sensor to transmit its code, trigger a trip by moving the magnet away from the sensor; if the sensor is on a door, for example, just open it observing if the red LED will light up. If the LED lights up, it indicates that there was a trigger (transmission occurred); if not, check the battery. Low battery sensor: XAS 4010 Smart has a battery level meter; if it is critical, this information will be sent to the alarm panel, in addition to flashing the red LED quickly as an indication of the low battery level. The sensor transmits the battery level in both modulations, OOK and FSK. In FSK, the sensor transmits opening, closing and also monitoring of the sensor (open or closed) every 30 minutes.
