Assembly Instruction

  1. Assemble trampoline ends. Tube #6: the side with more spring holes must be faced up. NOTE: lock nut is supposed to stop after a few twists while hand tightening.

  2. Connect the trampoline ends with top frame tubes {#6). Tube #6: the side with more spring holes must be faced up. NOTE : lock nut is supposed to stop after a few twists while hand tightening.

  3. Assemble mid legs.

Steel plates (#3) are purposely a tight fit to install because they play a role in the structural integrity and performance of the trampoline.
Tips to install steel plates (#3):

1. Make sure that the orientation of steel plate (#3) is correct-see the direction of the bends in the ends (turned away from the bottom of the leg assembly).
2. Install one outer bolt first, and only barely hand tighten the nut. Then, install the outer bolt in the opposite end-it may help if you bow the steel plate slightly to better align the bolt holes. Also squeezing/ bending the mid leg assembly by pulling/ pushing in the directions shown in figure below may help. One way to do that is to turn the leg assembly upside down against the ground (on a soft surface) and press down from the center. Hand tighten only.
3. Proceed to install the inner bolts.

  1. Insert the mid leg assemblies into the top frame as instructed below. Please note that the sides of t he frame won’t be straight at this point. They are pulled into t heir final positions after the springs are installed.

  2. CAUTION! INCORRECTLY INSTALLED PART CAN CAUSE INJURY! Please see the figure below on instructions to align the spacer between the enclosure pole and trampoline leg (arrows up and facing the enclosure pole).
    DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS.

  3. TIGHTEN all the bolts that have been hand tightened in the previous steps.
Add the plastic protective caps. DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS.

  4. Connect springs (#70) to the v-rings of the mat (#9) and pull towards yourself with the spring pull tool to connect to frame. NOTE: Skirt of the mat must be above the springs (not displayed in figures below for clarity).
CAUTION! PINCH PONT. Pay attention to hand position when handling springs.

Choose spring setup between two options (see the figures above):
SETUP 1 : Bouncy and excellent performance. Every other spring is attached to the holes underneath the top frame tubes. Begin the spring installation by attaching the corner springs to the mat and the holes underneath the top frame. NOTE: Only every other hole on the top of the frame will be used in this setup. All of the holes underneath the top frame will be used.
SETUP 2 : Tighter mat for experienced users. Only the holes on the top of the frame will be used in this setup.

  5. Continue the spring installation by adding l spring in each gap, working clockwise around the trampoline until all the springs have been installed.
CAUTION! PINCH PONT. Pay attention to hand position when handling springs.

+ l spring/ lap/ gap. NOTE: Jumping mat skirt is not displayed for clarity.

  6. Attach the outer edge of the jumping mat skirt to trampoline frame with elastic strips (#33).

  7. Attach safety pads (#11 and #12) to t he frame with bungee cords (#13). Tip: using spring pull tool is helpful. If necessary, loosen the upper bolt of t he enclosure pole slightly when placing t he skirt of the safety pad between t he enclosure pole and frame. REMEMBER TO RE-TIGHTEN.

  8. Assemble all enclosure poles as instructed below.
NOTE : Sliding the sleeve (#22) over the cap can be a tight fit. Connect the assembled poles in to the lower poles.

  1. Attach the short side of the net first. Adjust the lower edge of net to the centerline of safety pad as instructed in fig.7 with adjustable straps (part #26). The door opening can be placed on the short or the long side of the trampoline.

  2. ENSURE THAT NO UNDERGROUND UTILITIES SUCH AS ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE PRESENT WHERE YOU INSTALL THE ANCHORS. Screw the anchors (#27)into the ground as instructed below. Fig. 2: Tie the strap of the anchor set over the upper frame of the trampoline. Attach the hook into the loop of the anchor base. Tighten with the ratchet.

Your ACON AIR 73 HD is ready for use. Have fun!
