- Placing the femurs
- Slide the Right Femur (I) over the Upper Support Pole (H) on the right side and fit onto the Right Shin (F). Slide the Left Femur (J) onto the Upper Support Pole (H) on the left side and fit onto the Left Shin (G).
- NOTE: The Right Femur (I) and Left Femur (J) are designed to only fit onto their corresponding Right Shin (F) and Left Shin (G).
- Attaching the pelvis
- Attach the Pelvis (K) to the Upper Support Poles (H) and fit onto the Right Femur (I) and Left Femur (J).
- NOTE: A ladder and more than 2 people are advised when assembling the Pelvis (K) to the Upper Support Poles (H), Right Femur (I), and Left Femur (J). If there is difficulty in assembling the Pelvis (K), try adjusting the upper legs until they are properly aligned.
- NOTE: If connecting the Pelvis (K) is difficult, try attaching the Pelvis (K) to the Upper Support Poles (H) in a lowered position. Once the Upper Support Poles (H) are inserted, carefully raise the assembly to a vertical position to help lock pins into place.
- Laying down the assembly
- Lean the assembly onto the box it came in for easier assembly.
- NOTE: 3 adults are strongly recommended for this step.
- Attaching the spinal support
- Attach the Spinal Support (L) to the top of the Pelvis (K).
- Attaching the rib cage
- Slide the Rib Cage (M) over the Spinal Support (L). Then connect the cable from the Rib Cage (M) to its corresponding cable from the Pelvis (K). Then fit the Rib Cage (M) onto the Pelvis (K).
- NOTE: After connecting the wires, hide the excess inside the available cavity at the bottom of the Rib Cage (M).
- NOTE: When connecting cables, ensure that the arrow indicators on each cable end are lined up with and pointing at each other.
- There is also a groove and a rod-like protrusion by these arrows that fit into each other.
- Then firmly press the cables together. Rotate the cable cap clockwise onto the threading of the corresponding cable until firmly in place.
- Securing the loop screw
- Screw the Loop Screw (T) into the threading available in the hole at the upper back of the Rib Cage (M).
- Attaching the right humerus
- With the Screw access hole facing the grooves on the shoulder shaft, set the Right Upper Arm (N) onto the right shoulder of the Rib Cage (M).
- Use the Hex Wrench to tighten the screw in place. Do not over tighten. Arm position should be adjusted only after arms are attached with screw-facing grooves.
- NOTE: Do not overtighten this screw. Overtightening may result in damage to the product. If a screw is missing, check inside the box as it may have fallen out of the arm.
- Screw M8*18mm
- Attaching the left humerus
- Set the Left Upper Arm (O) onto the left shoulder area of the Rib Cage (M) so that the screw lines up with the grooves at the shoulder. Use a Hex Wrench to tighten the screw in place.
- Attaching the forearms
- Connect the Right Forearm (P) to the Right Upper Arm (N) by using an insert and twist motion. Connect the Left Forearm (Q) to the Left Upper Arm (O) by using an insert and twist motion.
- Arms can now be posed by raising or lowering. Follow the cautions in Step 20.
- Securing the tether cable
- Set the Tether Cable (U) onto the hook available at the right side of the Base (A) and then thread the Tether Cable (U) through the Loop Screw (T). Then set the other end of the Tether Cable onto the hook available at the left side of the Base (A).
- CAUTION: Cable may have sharp ends, use caution when assembling. If cable cannot reach, the upper body of the 12ft Giant Sized Skelly needs to be lifted while in its laying position. This should enable the cable to reach.
- Attaching the head
- Connect the cables from the bottom of the Head (R) to their corresponding cables available at the top of the Rib Cage (M).
- Tuck the excess cables into the cavity available at the top of the Rib Cage (M) and secure the Head (R) onto the Rib Cage (M) using an insert and twist motion.
- NOTE: The red cable is for future accessories for the 12ft giant-sized Skelly. This red cable does not have a use otherwise and can be tucked into the cavity at the top of the Rib Cage (M).
- Cable pairs are color-coded to ensure proper color-matching connections.
- Plugging in the adapter
- Plug the Adapter (W) into the adapter receiver available on the Control Panel or underside of the Pelvis (K).
- NOTE: When plugging the adapter into the 12ft Giant Sized Skelly, ensure that the cap on the adapter cable is rotated clockwise until firmly in place as shown.
- Standing up the skeleton
- Stand the assembly up with one person pressing down on the back of the Base (A) and another person lifting by the Rib Cage (M).
- CAUTION: The Tether Cable (U) must be secured before standing up the 12ft giant-sized Skelly. It is strongly advised that 3 adults participate in the assembly, standing the skeleton up, setting the skeleton down, and disassembling it.
- The item must be laid down for disassembly.
- Attaching the base extensions
- Attach the Base Extensions (S) to each corner of the Base (A).
- Securing the base
- If the Skeleton is assembled on soft ground, insert the Stakes (V) through the holes and into the ground at each corner of the Base (A).
- NOTE: If your application requires additional stability, add weights on top of the base (for example sandbags – not included). You can also add guy wires (not included) for added stability.
- Adjusting to preference

- Position the 12ft Giant Sized Skelly on flat surfaces only.
- Your 12ft Giant Sized Skelly is now fully assembled. Plug in and turn on to let the fun begin!
- NOTE: The arms can be raised or lowered to your preference. Apply firm steady pressure on the upper arm.
- Do not apply pressure on the hand or forearm to adjust arm height, this may damage the parts.
- Loud ‘clacking’ is normal as the arm moves. If you’re unable to move the arm, please contact customer service for further instructions.
- Please pose your arms before standing up, otherwise, a ladder will be needed.
- If you would like to add additional lighting fun to your skeleton, check out the 12-foot Skeleton Lighting Kit at The Home Depot (sold separately).
