The 2022 THD-HDHoliday – C9-100 Instruction Manual – English Size: 10 x 7 Date: 02/18/2022 provides information and instructions for the use and care of MODEL NO. 20090110041701H/02H SMT-S100/SC9 LED22 product. The product is designed for indoor and outdoor use and is equipped with non-shunted type LEDs. It employs overload protection (fuse) to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock.
Important Safety Instructions
- Read and follow all safety instructions.
- Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked as suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
- Connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet when used in outdoor applications. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
- This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
- Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
- Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails or place on sharp hooks or nails.
- Do not let LEDs rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
- To avoid the risk of fire, burns, personal injury, and electric shock, do not play with or place the product where small children can reach it.
- Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
- Do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, wire, or light string.
- Do not place lighting string on carpeting, drapes, or furniture, or allow it to contact vinyl siding while the power is on.
- Do not perform any maintenance or troubleshooting for bad or broken LEDs while the power is on.
- Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
- Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.
- Do not twist LEDs after the reflector is removed.
- If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.
- Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product.
- Do not install on trees having needles, leaves, or branch coverings of metal or materials which look like metal. Do not mount or support strings in a manner that can cut or damage wire insulation.
Use and Care Instructions
- When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well-maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.
- If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well-secured and stable.
- Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wiring.

- This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuits situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.

- If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well-secured and stable.
- Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the LED holders or enclosures, loose connections or exposed copper wire.
- When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including tree branches, or bushes to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires.
- When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight
- LEDs that become loose or burned out must be replaced promptly in order to maintain the performance and life expectancy of this set.
- Be careful not to drop the light set onto a hard surface.
USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
Fuse replacement: Most often, fuses blow because too many sets have been strung end-to-end
- Before changing fuses, make sure the set is unplugged.
- Using a flathead screwdriver, open the fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug toward blades
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord
- Remove fuses carefully.
- Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with product).
- Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug. Make sure door is fully closed and the fuses are completely covered.
- Risk of fire. Do not replace the attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard the product if the attachment plug is damaged.
LED replacement : Before changing LEDs, make sure set is unplugged
INSTRUCTION
- Step 1: Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling the cord.
- Step 2: Unscrew the plastic reflector from LED holder.
- Step 3: If required, remove the plastic reflector over the LED.
- Step 4: Replace LED with only 3.2 volt, 0.064Watt LED type Lamp (provided with product
- Step 5: Place the plastic reflector over the LED.
The actual lamp cover may vary according to the product purchased.
CAUTION:
- This lighting string is rated 15.6 watts (0.13 Amps), do not overload. Connect other lighting strings or decorative outfits end-to-end up to a maximum of 216 watts (1.80 Amps) total. If connecting to a lighting string that does not have a wattage (W) rating {found on the tag within 6 inches of the plug} calculate the wattage as follows: Multiply the current (___A) which is on the flag-type tag by 120. For Example, The lighting string is rated 120V, 60Hz, 0.2 Amps. 0.2 X 120 = 24Watts. Add the wattage of each light string together for a total of 216 watts or less. (Do not exceed 216 watts.)
- To reduce the risk of overheating, replace burned-out LEDs promptly. Use 3.2 Volt, 0.064Watt LEDs provided with this product.
- Do not use a dimmer switch or install any additional Christmas lighting or ornamentation that is powered by a light bulb socket. Doing this may result in damage to your light string or cause personal injury. This action will result in a void of the limited warranty of this product.
- Risk of fire. This product does not contain shunts inside the lamps. Do not replace lamps with other than the spare lamps provided with this product
TROUBLESHOOTING
If Lights are not working – Check the Glass Fuse located inside the plug.
(See the diagram on this page on how to gain access to the Fuse inside the
Plug). If the metal filament inside the Glass Fuse is broken – Replace it with
the spare fuse provided in the accessory bag

Guarantee
10-year limited guarantee. This product was pre-tested before shipment and date coded. In keeping with the National Electrical Code, this product is intended for seasonal (90 days max.) installation and use. HOME ACCENTS Holiday LED lights 10-year guarantee repair or replacement of any product that fails to light for 10 consecutive holiday seasons (90 days max. per season).
