SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Please read carefully the following instructions before using the induction cooktop.
  • Do not plug power cord into power socket with wet hands.
  • Do not plug into a socket where several other appliances are plugged in.
  • Do not use if the plug cord is damaged or the power plug does not fully fit the socket.
  • Do not place the unit on uneven surfaces where it cannot be placed flat safely.
  • Do not use the unit on carpet or tablecloth (vinyl) or any other low-heat-resistant article.
  • Do not place the unit close to objects which are affected by magnet, such as radios, televisions, automatic banking cards and cassette tapes.
  • Do not use the unit on a gas stove or near flame or wet places.
  • Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum foils on the top plate.
  • Do not place a sheet of paper or a piece of cloth between the cookware and the unit as it may get burnt.
  • Use the unit with sufficient space around it. Keep the front side and both left and right side of the unit clear. Do not block the air intake fans or exhaust vents.
  • Do not use where children can easily touch the unit or allow children to use the unit by themselves.
  • Do not touch the control panel with any sharp object.
  • Do not heat the cookware empty or overheat the cookware with the unit.
  • Do not move the unit with cookware on it.
  • Do not touch the top plate while the unit is in use.
  • Do not touch the top plate right after removing the cookware as the top plate will still be very hot.
  • If the top plate is cracked, please turn off and unplug the unit immediately.

Do not attempt to disassemble and repair the unit or modify the parts by yourself. Please contact Rosewill Tech Support for issue inspection or replacement.

HOW TO USE

A. Power On

  • Plug the power cord into an available power socket. Once plugged in, the appliance will buzz once, the LED indicators and display screen will flash once. The LED indictor of the “On/Off” key will continue to flicker, and the display screen will flicker and show”—-“, indicating that the appliance is now ready for use.
  • Place suitable cookware (containing water and/or food) within the heating zone of the ceramic glass plate of the burner, press the “On/Off” key, the LED indicator and display screen will stop flickering and stay on while the air intake fan starts to work, indicating that the appliance now enters the Standby Mode and is ready for cooking.
  • See Page 5 for compatible cookware of your choice.

B. Manual Modes

  • Power Mode: In the Standby or other cooking mode, press the “Select” key to choose the Power Mode. The LED indicator of the “On/Off” key and the “Power” indicator will light up, the display screen will show “200”. Adjust power level and timer by pressing”+” or”-” to set up the desired levels.
  • Temperature Mode: In the Standby or other cooking mode, press the “Select” key to choose the Temperature Mode. The LED indicator of the “On/Off” key and the “Temp” indicator will light up, the display screen will show “320F”. Adjust temperature level and timer by pressing “+”or”-” to set up the desired levels.

C. Pre-programmed Cooking Modes

In the Standby or other cooking mode, press the “Select” key to turn the “Mode” indicator on and choose the desired preset function by pressing the”+” and “-” keys.

Function Guide| Keep Warm| When the LED indicator of the “Keep Warm” key is on, the display screen will show “400”. Timer function is workable for the “Keep Warm ” Mode, timer range 0:01-3 :00.

| Boil| When the LED indicator of the “Boil” key is on, the display screen will show “1500”. Power level is not adjustable and timer function is not workable for the “Boil” mode.
| Fry| When the LED indicator of the “Fry” key is on, the  display screen will show “1700”. Timer function is workable for the “Fry” mode, timer range 0:01-3:00.
| Deep Fry| When the LED indicator of the “Deep Fry” key is on, the display screen will show “1300”. Timer function is workable for the “Deep Fry” mode, timer range 0:01-3:00.
| Boost| When the LED indicator of the “Boost” key is on, the display screen will show “1800”. The appliance will cook with the maximum power at 1800W for 5 minutes. Timer function is not workable for the “Boost” mode.

D. Timer Function

  • In the Standby or other cooking mode, press the “Timer” key to set up timer. The display screen will show “2:00″. Adjust timer by pressing”+” or”-” to set up the desired levels between 0:01 and 3:00 (H:MM).
  • Press and hold the”+” or”-” key for 3 seconds, and the time will be adjusted by 10 minutes for quick adjustment.

E. Lock Function

  • Press and hold the “Lock” key for 3 seconds, and the display screen will show “L”, indicating all the function keys are locked except the “On/Off” and “Lock” keys to prevent accidental press or change of settings when the burner is in operation.
  • To unlock, press and hold the “Lock” key for 3 seconds again to cancel the Lock function.

CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Please turn off the appliance and pull out the plug before cleaning.
  2. Clean the unit after it cools down completely.
  3. To remove stain/dirt, please select neutral detergent.
  4. After removing stain/dirt, please use wet cloth to clean the unit.
  5. Do not run water over the unit or wash the unit directly with water to avoid malfunction or damage.
  6. Clean the induction glass plate and cookware before cooking. Otherwise, stain/dirt would become very difficult to clean and the plate may discolor after charring.
  7. Use brush to clean dust buildup from the air intake fans and exhaust vents.
  8. Do not use benzene, thinner, scrubbing brush or polishing powder to clean the unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If any errors occur during operation, please check the following table to diagnose the issue before calling for service. Below are common error messages.

Error Message Issue
EO No or unsuitable cookware on the plate.
E01 The IGBT resistor is over temperature or has open/short circuit.
E02 The sensor under the ceramic glass has open/short circuit.
E03 The voltage is too high or too low.

Please remove the dust buildup clogging the air intake fans and exhaust vents. Operate the appliance again after the appliance cools down. If the remedy does not fix the problem, unplug the appliance immediately. Please contact Rosewill Tech Support for inspection and repair, note the error code and report it to us. To avoid any danger and damage to the appliance, do not disassemble or attempt to repair it yourself.
