InnoTruth S3V2 Safety Gate User Guide
Please read me carefully.
There will be a gap, but DON’T WORRY. As you tighten the tension bolts the gap
will disappear!

Tips:
Attach the number of extensions needed for your space as shown on the next
page and secure them into place. The extension can be broken down into smaller
pieces if necessary by pulling the extension apart on either side.
OPTION 1:
Pressure-mounted installation(for areas with lower safety hazard)
No wall cups needed. Can hold up to 45 lbs!
STEP 1
Measure the width of the area you will place your safety gate to ensure the
space is sufficient, and determine the extension parts you may need.
Different sizes of accessories required :

STEP 2
Connect the 2 large main gate attachments (A1 and A2) as shown, and screw in 2
hex bolts into where the 2 pieces are connected. The latch will be on the
right outer side of the gate as shown below.
Connect the side frame A3 to the main gate using 2 hex bolts
Appearance of a gap after a successful assembly is normal.Please view the next
step to close the gap.
STEP 3
Place all 4 tension bolts into the ends of the gate that you have assembled so
far in the areas indicated below.
STEP 4
Make sure the rubber portion of the tension bolt is against the wall, and
twist the NUT adjuster until your gate is secure.
TIPS :
A
plastic tie may be used as an installation aid;temporarily closing the gap for
easier installation before fully pressurized. Can also be installed directly
with a strong rotary nut.
STEP 5
To close the gap, continue to twist the NUT on the tension bolts and you
will see the gap slowly start to close.
The gap should only be about 0.08” wide to function correctly.
STEP 6
- Test your gate to ensure it’s working properly, the double lock is secure, and it is tightened appropriately. If your gate is not functioning properly, please navigate to the troubleshooting section!
OPTION 2:
HOW TO INSTALL IN AREAS WITH HIGHER SAFETY HAZARD( Staircases, etc.)
STEP 1
Measure the height and width of the area you will place your safety gate, and
mark where you will be drilling into the wall .
STEP 2
Drill into the marked areas, place a wall anchor into the space, and then
fasten a wall cup into the drilled area with the screws provided.
STEP 3
The next steps will be the same as option 1.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Double Lock Feature : To open the gate you will need to pull back the
switch on top of the latch, and lift up the gate.
Innovative Gate Design: The gate can move in 180 degrees – You can open
the gate in both directions!
Convenient Lock Position: At 90 degrees either direction the gate will
lock and stay in place.
Secure Shut: When the gate is closed you should hear a click – This lets
you know that the gate is securely shut.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the gate does not open or function properly:
A. The gate is over-tightened or not tight enough.If your gate is
tightened too much, the gate will not latch automatically when closed.
Otherwise, if your gate is not tight enough, the latch will miss the gate
frame and will not securely close .
B. The latches are not level.
Solution: Adjust the tension bolts on each side of the door until they
are centered and leveled. There will be an equal distance between the gate and
the wall on both the sides, top, and the bottom.
C. Gate is not properly aligned onto the door frame.
Solution: Adjust the gate by loosening all the tension bolts and
reposition the gate.
Make sure the gate is properly aligned with the door frame/door opening, then
re-tighten the tension bolts.
WARNING
- To prevent serious injury, securely install the gate and use it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Never use with a child who is able to climb over or dislodge the gate.
- This product will not necessarily prevent all accidents.
- Never leave your child unattended.
- In certain areas, such as stairs or laundry rooms, it is recommended to install nails into the wall cup in order to increase the solidity of the guardrail
- Stop using the gate if any parts are missing or become damaged.
- Periodically check all fasteners to be sure they are tight and secure.
- Adult assembly is required.
- The surfaces that the gate is xed to must be structurally sound.
- For indoor use only – The gate should not be exposed to outdoor elements.
- Children have died or been seriously injured when gates are not securely installed.
- ALWAYS install and use gates as directed using all required parts.
- You MUST install wall cups to keepgate in place.Without wall cups,child can push out and escape.
- Stop using when a child can climb over or dislodge the gate.
- Use only with the latching mechanism securely engaged.
- Intended for ues with children between 6 and 24 months.
- NEVER use a gate to keep child away from pool.
