PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
(a). Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since this can
result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat
or tamper with the safety interlocks.
(b). Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow
soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
(c). Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important
that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the:
(1). DOOR (bent)
(2). HINGES AND LATCHES (broken or loosened)
(3). DOOR SEALS AND SEALING SURFACE
(d). The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly
qualified service personnel.

WARNING
When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should be followed,
including the following. To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire,
injury to persons or exposure to excessive microwave energy.
Read all instructions before using the appliance.
Read and follow the specific: “PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO
EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY” found on page 1.
This appliance must be grounded. Connect only to properly grounded
outlet. See “GROUNDINGINSTRUCTIONS” found on page 7.
Install or locate this appliance only in accordance with the provided
installation instructions.
As with any appliance, close supervision is necessary when used by
children.
When cleaning surfaces of door and oven that comes together on closing
the door, use only mild, nonabrasive soaps, or detergent applied with a sponge
or soft cloth.
Please keep the wave guide area clean. Use soft damp cloth to clean it up when
there is food splash residue on the wave guide area or the cavity.Failure to
clean food residue may cause innocuous sparking or some smoke in the
microwave cavity, discoloration of the cavity may also occur.
Keep cord away from heated surface.
Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea are able to overheat beyond the
boiling point without appearing to be boiling.
Visible bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from the microwave
oven is not always present.
THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUID SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER
IS DISTURBED OR A UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID. To reduce the risk of
injury to persons:
- Do not overheat the liquid.
- Stir the liquid both before and halfway through heating it.
- Do not use straightsided containers with narrow necks.
- After heating, allow the container to stand in the microwave oven for a short time before removing the container.
- Use extreme care when inserting a spoon or other utensil into the container.
This appliance should be serviced
only by qualified service personnel.
Contact nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or
adjustment.
To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:
- Do not overcook food. Carefully attend appliance when paper, plastic, or other combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking.
- Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bag before placing bag in oven.
- If material inside of the oven ignite, keep oven door closed, turn oven off, and disconnect the power cord, or shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.
- Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils, or food in the cavity when not in use.
Some products such as whole eggs and sealed containers, for example, closed glass jars are able to explode and should not be heated in this oven.
Do not store this appliance outdoors. Do not use this product near water – for
example, near a kitchen sink, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or
similar location.
Do not immerse cord or plug in water
or any other liquid.
Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in the manual. Do
not use corrosive chemicals or vapors inthis appliance. This type of oven is
specifically designed to heat, cook or dry food. It is not designed for
industrial or laboratory use.
Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not
working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped.
Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.

This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit,
grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for
the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having grounding
wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet th at is
properly installed and grounded.

Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions

- Clean door and sealing surface of the oven.
- Reorient the receiving antenna of radio or television.
- Relocate the microwave oven with respect to the receiver.
- Move the microwave oven away from the receiver.
- Plug the microwave oven into a different outlet so that microwave oven and receiver are on different branch circuits.

UTENSILS
CAUTION
Personal Injury Hazard:
Tightly-closed utensils could explode. Closed containers should be opened and
plastic pouches should be pierced before cooking.
See the instructions on “Materials you can use in microwave oven ” or
“Materials can not be used in microwave oven.”
There may be certain non-metallic utensils that are not safe to use for
microwaving. If in doubt, you can test the utensil in question following the
procedure below.
Utensil Test:

Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup of cold water (250ml) along with the utensil in question.

Cook on maximum power for 1 min.
-
Carefully feel the utensil. If the empty utensil is warm, do not use it for microwave cooking.

Do not exceed 1 min cooking time.

SETTING UP YOUR OVEN

Throughout this manual, features and appearance may vary from your model.
Remove the oven and all materials from the carton and oven cavity. Your oven
comes with the following accessories:

operate the oven are located on the control panel.

confined in the oven.

operate.

SETTING UP YOUR OVEN
TURNTABLE INSTALLATION
Cleaning the cooking compartment and putting the turntable in place. For new
installations, make sure all packaging and shipping tape has been removed from
the turntable shaft. Before using the appliance to prepare food for the first
time, you will need to put the turntable in place correctly. You must clean
the cooking compartment and accessories.
How to put the turntable in place:
- Place the roller ring b into the recess in the cooking compartment.
- Place the glass tray a on the Turntable ring. Fit the raised, curved lines in the center of the glass tray bottom between the three spokes of the shaft. Make sure that the turntable engages in the turntable shaft C in the centre of the cooking compartment floor. The rollers on the shaft should fit inside the turntable bottom ridge.
NOTE
- Never use the appliance without the turntable. Make sure that it is properly engaged. The turntable can turn clockwise or anti-clockwise.
- Never place the glass tray upside down. The glass tray should never be restricted.
- Both glass tray and turntable ring assembly must always be used during cooking.
- All food and containers of food are always placed on the glass tray for cooking.
- Never restrict the movement of the turntable.
- If glass tray or turntable ring assembly cracks or breaks, contact your nearest authorized service center.
COUNTERTOP INSTALLATION
Remove all packing material and accessories. Examine the oven for any damage
such as dents or broken door. Do not install if oven is damaged.
Cabinet: Remove any protective film found on the microwave oven cabinet
surface. Do not remove the light brown waveguide cover that is attached to the
oven cavity to protect the magnetron.
INSTALLATION

Select a level surface that provide enough open space for the intake and/or outlet vents.
a. The minimum installation height is 3.0 ft.
b. Leave a minimum clearance of 3.0 inches on each side, 3.0 inches on top and 1.0 inch in the rear.
c.Do not remove the legs from the bottom of the oven.
d.Block ing the intake and/or outlet openings can damage the oven.
e. Please place the oven as far away from radios and TV as possible.
Operation of microwave oven may cause interference to your radio or TV reception. -
Plug microwave oven into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the frequency is the same as the voltage and the frenquency on the rating label.
NOTE
Do not install oven over a range cooktop or other heat-producing appliance.
If installed near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and the
warranty would be avoid.

that may occur. Common sense, caution and care must be exercised when
installing, maintaining or operating a microwave. Always use original spare
parts. Retain the instruction manual and installation instructions for future
use or for subsequent owners.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
The appliance may produce unpleasant odors when it is used for the first time.
This section tells you what you need to do before using your microwave to
prepare food for the first time. Read the section entitled ” IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS ” beforehand on page 3.
Before you can use your new appliance, you will need to put the turntable in
place correctly. You must also clean the cooking compartment and accessories.
NOTE
- Never use the appliance without the turntable.
- Make sure that it is properly engaged. The turntable can turn clockwise or anti-clockwise.
OPERATION
CONTROL PANEL AND FEATURES 1. POWER LEVELS
TEN POWER LEVELS ARE AVAILABLE.
a Touch “Cook Time” , “0:00” will display, then touch number pads.
b Touch “Power” and “PL10” will
display. Then touch number pads to select a different power level.
c In cooking state of microwave, touch
“Power”, the current power will be displayed for 3 seconds. Example : To
cook the food with 50% microwave power for 15 minutes.

Touch “Cook Time” , “0:00” will display. ‘
-
Touch “1, 5, 0, 0” in order for 15:00 to appear on the screen.

Touch “Power” , then touch “5” to select 50% microwave power.
-
Touch “START/+30Sec.” to start cooking. Buzzer sounds once. The remaining cooking time will display.

2. CLOCK SETTING
WHEN THE MICROWAVE OVEN IS PLUGGED INTO AN OUTLET, “0:00” WILL DISPLAY.
a Touch “Clock” once, “00:00” will appear in the display.
b Touch the number pads to enter the current clock time. For example, if the
time is now 10:12, touch ” 1, 0, 1, 2 ” in order.
c Touch “Clock” to finish clock setting, ” : ” will flash and the numbers will
appear as a clock time in the display.
NOTE
- If the numbers entered are not within the range between 1:00 to 12:59, the setting will not be accepted until valid numbers are entered.
- In the process of setting clock, if the pad is touched or if there is no operation within 1 minute, the display will automatically return to the previous clock setting.
3. KITCHEN TIMER
a Touch “Timer” once, “00:00” will appear in the display.
b Touch the number pads to enter the time amount. The maximum amount of time
that can be entered is 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
c Touch ” to confirm setting, and the timer will start to count down. d When
the time amount elapses, timer indicator will disappear. The oven will beep 5
times. START/+30Sec.”
NOTE
- The Kitchen Timer setting is different from the Clock setting; it is simply a timer.
- During the Kitchen Timer function, no cooking function can be set into operation.
- Kitchen Timer amount cannot be increased by touching “START/+30Sec.”
- Touching will cancel the Timer countdown.
4. MICROWAVE COOKING
a Touch “Cook Time” , “0:00” will appear in the display.
b Touch number pads to enter the cooking time. The maximum cooking time is 99
minutes,99 seconds.
c Touch “Power”, PL10 will flash. Touch number pads 0 through 9 to select a
different Power if desired. See the POWER LEVEL table above.
d Touch ” to start cooking. The
remaining cooking time will START/+30Sec. ” display.
Example : To cook the food with 50% microwave power for 15 minutes.

Touch “Cook Time”, “0:00” will display.

Touch “1, 5, 0, 0” in order for 15:00 to appear in the display.

Touch “START/+30Sec.”Power” , then touch “5” to select 50% microwave power.

Touch ” to start cooking. Buzzer sounds once. The remaining cooking time will display.
NOTE
- In the process of setting, if the pad is touched or if there is no operation within 1 minute, the oven will automatically return to display the clock.
5. ONE TOUCH START
a Instant cooking at 100% power level and 1 to 6 minutes cooking time can be
started by touching number pads 1 to 6. Touch “START/+30Sec.” to increase the
cooking time by 30 seconds with each number pads 1 to 6 to touch. Touch
increase the corresponding time. The maximum cooking time is 99 minutes, 99
seconds. b “START/+30Sec.” provides a
convenient way to extend cooking time by 30 seconds while the oven timer is
counting down. It will add 30 seconds to the time shown each time the pad is
touched.
This pad may also be used as a quick start for 30 seconds of cooking. Touch
“START/+30Sec.” the oven will start immediately.
NOTE
- Time can also be added in 30 second increments by touching ” START/+30Sec.” during Microwave Cooking, Pro Def. and Multi-stage Cooking.
- Time cannot be added by touching “START/+30Sec.” during 1lb Def. and Kitchen Timer functions.
6. CUSTOM DEFROST FUNCTION
Touch “1lb Def”. pad, “dEF1” will appear in the display.
Touch “1lb Def”. pad repeatedly, “dEF2”, “dEF3”, “dEF1” will display in order.

b Touch number pads to enter the weight to be defrosted. Input the weight
range between 1 to 100 Oz. c If the weight input is not between 1 to 100 Oz,
the input will be invalid. The unit will not work until valid numbers are
entered. Touch ” to start defrosting and the cooking time remaining will be
displayed . ” START/+30Sec.”” indicator will flash.
NOTE
When half of the defrosting time passes, the oven will beep once to remind you
to turn over the food. Open the door to pause operation. Turn over food, close
door and touch “START/+30Sec.” to resume defrost cycle.
If you do not open door to pause operation, the oven will continue the defrost
cycle without interruption.
7. PRO DEFROST
a Touch “Pro Def.” , “0:00” will appear in the display.
b Touch the number pads to enter the time amount.
c Touch “Power” , the default power PL3 will appear in the display. Touch
number pads to select a different Power if desired.
d Touch ” START/+30Sec.”to start defrosting, the remaining defrost time will
display.
NOTE
• Power level cannot be check or change during defrosting.
8. SENSOR MENU
( Sensor Reheat, Frz. Pizza, Frz Entrée, Potato, Rice, Veggie)
a Touch the pad for one of the Sensor Menu functions. An “SC-” number, will
appear in the display.
Example: If “Rice” is touched, “SC-5” will display.
b Touch ” START/+30Sec.”to start the sensor cooking process. will appear in
the display.
Once the item has been sensed, oven beeps 2 times and the remaining cooking
time will display. The oven beeps 5 times when cooking is finished.
NOTE
For best sensor cooking results:
a. The room temperature cannot be over 95°F (35°C).
b. The weight of food must be more than 4 Oz (110 g).
c. The oven cavity, glass tray and utensils must be dry.
During cooking:
a. The food can be covered, but the cover or lid must be vented with a hole to
allow steam to escape.
b. Wait until the cooking time is displayed and starts to count down. Opening
the door or press “ ” before the cooking time is displayed will cause an error
in the sensor cooking process.
c. Once the cooking time displays and starts counting down, you can open the
door to mix or turn over food.
NOTE
For potato Sensor Pad:
Puncture the surface of each potato several times with the times of a fork.
Place up to 4 potatoes on the glass turntable. Keep at least 1 inch of space
between each potato.
Example: Sensor Reheat Pad
- After placing food into oven, touch “Sensor Reheat” pad and “SC1” will display.
- Touch” START/+30Sec.”to cook. Oven beeps 5 times when cooking is finished.
NOTE
-
Food to be avoided in sensor reheating.
a. Bread and other dry food, such as biscuits or cake.
b. Raw or uncooked food.
c. Beverages and frozen food. -
The food can be covered, but the cover or lid must be vented with a hole to allow steam to escape.

The food temperature must be at least 40 °F (5 °C) when placing it into the oven for Sensor Heat to work correctly.

Preparing foods for Sensor Reheat.
Casseroles – Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of liquid, covered with lid or vented plastic wrap.
Stir when time appears in the display window.
Canned foods – Empty contents into casserole dish or serving bowl, and cover with vented lid or plastic wrap. After reheating, let food stand for a few minutes.
Plate of food – Arrange food on plate; top with butter, gravy, etc. Cover with vented lid or plastic wrap. After reheating, let food stand for a few minutes.
Example: Veggie Sensor Pad
- Touch “Veggie” once , “SC-6” will display, to cook fresh vegetable. Touch “Veggie” 2 times , “SC-7” will display, to cook frozen vegetable.
- Touch” START/+30Sec.” to cook. After the cooking time displays, food can beturned over. Oven beeps 5 times when cooking is finished.

9. POPCORN
a Touch “Popcorn” repeatedly until the number you wish appears in the
display, “1.75”, “3.0”, “3.5” oz will display in order. And “ ” and “Oz”
will appear in the display.
b Touch “START/+30Sec.” to cook. “Oz” disappears. “ ” flashes. Oven beeps
5 times when cooking is finished. 10. AUTO COOK
a Touch “Auto Cook” , “CC-1″ and ” ” will appear in the display.
b Touch “Auto Cook” more times, “CC-2, CC-3, CC-4, CC-5” will display in order. Refer to the Auto Menu Chart below. c Touch “START/+30Sec.” to confirm the menu. Then touch a number pad to select the weight or portion of food item.
d Touch “START/+30Sec.” to cook, “ **” flashes in display. Oven beeps 5 times

12. MEMORY FUNCTION
a Touch “Memory” to program and choose up to three cooking procedures. Each
procedure will be indicated by 1, 2 or 3 in the display.
b Touch “Memory” until your desired procedure number appears in the display.
Touch “START/+30Sec.” to begin it. A maximum of two cooking stages can be set
for each procedure.
To program a procedure, follow the
steps listed below. Suppose you want to cook with Power Level 8 for 3 minutes
and 20 seconds; save as memory 2.

Touch “Memory” twice; screen displays 2.

Touch “Cook Time” once, then touch “3”,”2″ and “0” in order.

Touch “Power” once, then touch “8” for “PL8” to display.

Touch “Memory” to save the procedure. Oven beeps once. Or touch “START/+30Sec. ” directly to start cooking.

To choose the procedure from the memory list, touch “Memory” twice. Screen will display “2”. TouchSTART/+30Sec. ” to run procedure.
NOTE
- The procedure will remain programmed until the oven is unplugged or there is a power failure. If either occurs, the procedure will have to be reprogrammed into the oven.
13. MULTI-STAGE COOKING
At most 2 stages can be set for cooking. If one stage is Defrost, it will
automatically set to be the first stage.
NOTE
- Soften/Melt, Auto Cook, Popcorn and Sensor menu cannot be for multistage cooking.
Example: 80% Power Level for 5 minutes followed by 60% Power Level for 10 minutes.
- Touch “Cook Time”, then touch “5” , “0” and “0” to set first stage cook time
- Touch “Power” once, then touch “8” to choose 80% first stage cooking power.
- Touch “Cook Time” again, then touch “1”,”0″, “0” and “0” to set second stage cook time.
- Touch “Power” again, then touch “6” to choose 60% second stage cooking power.
- Touch “START/+30Sec.” to immediately start multi-stage cooking.
14. INQUIRING FUNCTION
a When oven is cooking, touch “Clock” for the time of day to appear for three
seconds in the display.
b When oven is cooking, touch “Power” pad for cooking power to appear for
three seconds in the display. 15. LOCK FUNCTION
a To lock the microwave so that it cannot be operated by children or other
unintended users, touch “ ” pad for 3 seconds. You will hear a long beep.
b If the clock has been set, the time of day and “Lock” will appear in the
display. Otherwise, “0:00” and “Lock” will appear. To Unlock, touch “ ” for
three seconds, you will hear a long beep and “Lock” will disappear. 16.
MUTE FUNCTION
a It is default that the buzzer sounds is open. In standby mode, long
touching on numeric pad “8” for 3 seconds, it sounds a long beep, turns off the
sound.

17. ENERGY SAVER MODE
a In standby mode, touch the ” ” once (less than 3 seconds to avoid starting
the Lock function ) to enter the Energy Saver mode.
b In child-locked mode, touch the ” ” once (less than 3 seconds) and release
to enter the Energy Saver Mode.
c Above operation is the only way to start the Energy Saver mode.
d The Energy Saver mode works only if the door is closed.
18. COOKING END REMINDER FUNCTION
The oven will beep five times to alert the user that cooking time has ended.
“0:00″ will display.
The time of day will display by opening the door or touching ” ” pad.
19. OTHER SPECIFICATION
a When setting cooking function, the function abbreviation appears in the
display.
b When oven is cooking or paused (door opened) during cooking, the remaining
cooking time appears in the display.
c “START/+30Sec.”must be touched to continue cooking if the door is opened
during cooking.
d A single beep sounds to indicate that a pad is correctly touched; if pad is
not correctly touched, no beep sounds.
e Cooling Fans: at the end of cooking, the automatic fan may continue to run
for a short time.
f When the oven is on, light may be visible around the door or outer case.
g The clear glass tray should always be in place when microwaving.
CLEANING
With good care and cleaning, your appliance will retain its appearance and
remain fully functioning for a long time to come. We will explain below how
you should correctly care for and clean your appliance.
WARNING
- Scratched glass in the appliance door may develop into a crack. Do not use a glass scraper, sharp or abrasive cleaning aids or detergents.

dry with a soft cloth. Do not use oven spray or any other aggressive oven
cleaners or abrasive materials. Scouring pads, rough sponges and pan cleaners
are also unsuitable. These items scratch the surface. Allow the interior
surfaces to dry completely.
RECESS IN THE COOKING COMPARTMENT
Damp cloth:
Water must not be allowed to run into the appliance through the turntable
drive. Dry the turntable drive with a cloth.
TURNTABLE AND ROLLER RING
Hot soapy water:
When placing the turntable back into its recess, it must engage properly.
