USEFUL TIPS

A quick understanding of how to use the hair straightener will allow you to establish the exact application time to achieve the desired effect on your hair.

  • Ensure your hair is dry, clean and without any trace of hairspray, hair mousse or gel.
  • Comb your hair ensuring there are no knots. Start straightening from the nape of the neck, proceed on the sides and finish on the forehead.
  • During use, when the plates heat and cool, position the appliance on a smooth and heat resistant surface.
  • While straightening, be careful not to near the plates too much to the sensitive parts of the face, ears, neck or head.
  • Leave the plates to cool down completely when finished, before putting the appliance away.

USE

  • WARNING! This appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs of damage.
  • WARNING! DO NOT use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water. Never place the appliance into water.

PREPARING YOUR HAIR

  • Wash hair as normal and comb to remove knots.
  • Dry your hair and brush from the roots to the ends. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
  • Connect the power cord (6) to the mains.
  • Place the switch (2) in the ON position I.
  • The hair straightener setting, where present, varies according to the model purchased (see Hair Straightener Setting).
  • Take a thin lock of hair, the same width as the plate and place it between the two plates.
  • Keep the lock of hair taut with one hand and, with the other hand slide, the closed plate from the roots down to the ends.
  • Once you have finished styling your hair, turn the appliance off. Place the button (2) in the OFF position O and unplug the hair straightener from the power socket.

HAIR STRAIGHTENER SETTING M1503-M1504

  • The display (8) lights up.
  • Select the desired temperature between 150°C and 230°C, depending on the type of hair and the desired effect; the temperature can be adjusted at any time by pressing + or – (9).
  • After having selected the desired temperature, the button lock can be activated by pressing the + button (9) for a few seconds. This function prevents accidental temperature changes while using the straightener. The activation of the button lock is signalled by the operation LED going on; The lock can be deactivated by pressing the + button (9) again for a few seconds.
  • The display (8) flashes until the plates reach the set temperature.
  • Once the temperature is reached, the display (8) remains on.

NOTE: steam may appear while straightening; this is excess humidity in the hair that evaporates.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

  • WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the socket before cleaning or performing maintenance.
  • WARNING! Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.
  • Place the switch (2) in the OFF position O and unplug the hair straightener from the power socket.
  • Wait for the heating plates (1) to cool down.
  • Clean the surface of the heating plates (1) and the handle with a soft, damp cloth.

STORAGE

  • WARNING! Risk of fire. Wait for the appliance to cool completely before storing it.
  • WARNING! DO NOT wrap the supply cord around the appliance.

The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of the packaging by the environmental protection regulations.

The list above is purely indicative and not exhaustive and in any case, this warranty shall not cover all circumstances that cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance.
