IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD
When using electrical appliance. Basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

Read all instruction.

Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the toaster.

Do not touch hot surface. Use handles or knobs only.

To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the toaster in water or other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Unplug unit from mains power outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool down before putting on or taking off parts.

Allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning or storing.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in abnormal state. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified electrical person in order to avoid a hazard, or the product must be disposed of.

Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surface.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.

Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the toaster as they may cause fire or electric shock.

CAUTION: Bread may burn, therefore toasters must not be used near or below curtains and other combustible materials. The toaster should be attended when in use.

The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

Use the appliance on a level and stable work surface.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Be sure to take the bread out carefully after toasting to avoid injuries.

This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Don’t use the appliance outdoors.

WARNING!
Never operate toaster on its side. To prevent damage to the toaster, DO NOT
toast with extremely runny ingredients such as butter, jam and other sugary
ingredients.
Adding any food substances to bread, muffins or crumpets can cause an electric
shock and / or fire. This toaster is for toasting bread, crumpets and muffins
only.
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
FOR THE FIRST USE
During manufacture, residue or oil may remain in the toaster or heating element which is likely to emit an odour when used for the first use. This is normal and should disappear after few minutes of use. When the toaster is used for the first time, it is suggested to operate according to the below steps, except without bread. Then let the toaster cool down and begin toasting the first slice.
OPERATION

Put bread slice into the bread slot, it can be inserted two slices at most every time.
Note: Make sure the crumb tray is completely positioned in place before using. -
Plug the power cord into the outlet.

Set color controller to your desired color. There is 7-position level, the lowest “1” is for white and the highest “7” is for dark. The bread slice can be toasted to golden color at the middle position.
Note: 1). Toasting color for one slice is darker than that for double bread at the same level. -
If toasted continuously, toasting color for the latter bread is darker than that for the anterior bread at the same level.

Press carriage handle down vertically until it is positioned in place and the indicator of Cancel button will be illuminated, and toast will begin at once. Once the bread has been toasted to the preset color, the carriage handle will automatically spring up. You can uplift the carriage handle a little to remove the bread readily.
Note: Only when the power supply is switched ON, the carriage handle can rest on the bottom of slot (pushed down in locked position). -

If the bread has been taken out from refrigerator, set color controller to your desired color. Press carriage handle down vertically until it is positioned in place, then press DEFROST button and the indicator will be illuminated. In this mode, the bread will be toasted to your desired color.

If you want to reheat the cold toasted bread, press the REHEAT button and the indicator of it will be illuminated. In this mode toasting time is fixed, so long as time is running over, the carriage handle will automatically spring up and end up the reheating process.
CAUTION
- Remove all protective wrappings prior to toasting.
- If toaster starts to smoke, Press the CANCEL button to stop toasting immediately.
- Avoid toasting the food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
- Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the toaster from the electrical power outlet first. Make sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when removing bread.
- The bread slot is only applicable for toasting regular bread slice. For irregular shaped or round bread, you cannot toast it in the Bread slot.
- In order to achieve uniform color, we recommend that you should wait minimum 30s between each toasting cycle so that color control can reset automatically.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, unplug from the appliance from mains power and let the appliance cool down completely.
- Wipe the outside with soft dry cloth, never use metal polish.
- Pull out crumb tray at the bottom of toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently, accumulated breadcrumbs should be removed at least once a week. Make sure the crumb tray is completely closed before using the toaster again.
- When not use or storage, the power cord may be wound under the bottom of toaster.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights observed under New Zealand legislation.
