TECHNICAL DATA

USEFUL TIPS

Understanding the usage technique of the hair styler requires small initial precautions that will allow the desired effects to be obtained quickly. The time of use is variable based on experience using the appliance and the desired hairstyle.

• Ensure the hair is dry, clean and without any trace of hairspray, hair mousse or gel.
• Comb the hair ensuring there are no knots.
• Start straightening from the nape of the neck, proceed on the sides and finish on the forehead.
• When using the curling tong, while it is heating or cooling, place it on a smooth and heat resistant surface.
• While straightening, be careful not to near the brush too much to the sensitive parts of the face, ears, neck or head.
• After use, allow the curling tong to cool down completely before putting it away.

USE

• WARNING! This appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs of damage.
• WARNING! DO NOT use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water. Never place the appliance into water.
• WARNING! Risk of fire. DO NOT use flammable products on hair or on the appliance.

PREPARING YOUR HAIR

• Wash hair as normal and comb to remove knots.
• Dry your hair and brush from the roots to the ends.
• Divide hair into sections and start straightening from the nape of the neck.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Connect the power cable (1) to the mains and place the appliance on a smooth and heat-resistant surface using the support system (6).
• Slide the On/Off button (5) to switch on the appliance.
• Turn the knob (4) to select the desired temperature; the operation LED (5) continues flashing until the desired temperature is reached.
• Take a lock of hair, which is not too wide or voluminous between the finger (about 2 cm); more defined curls are obtained with smaller locks of hair.
• Press the lever of the clamp and use your index finger to twist the lock of hair between the clamp (8) and the curling tong. It is important for the end of the lock of hair to fit entirely in the roundness of the tong.
• Close the clamp (8).
• Wait for the lock to dry as desired before removing it from the tong by releasing the clamp (8).
• After use, switch the appliance off by pressing the Off button (5) for a couple of seconds.
• Unplug the power cable (1) from the socket.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF

• The curling tong switches off automatically 1 hour after being switched on.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the main supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.
• WARNING! Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains (1).
• Make sure the appliance is cool.
• Clean the external and internal surfaces of the heated parts (2) and the handle of the appliance using a soft and damp cloth.
• Let it dry completely before starting it up again.

STORAGE

WARNING! Risk of fire. Wait for the appliance to cool completely before storing it.

WARNING! DO NOT wrap the supply cord around the appliance.

DISPOSAL

The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in accordance with the environmental protection regulations.

ASSISTANCE AND WARRANTY

• In the event of a defect in the product which existed prior to the date of delivery, appliance repair or replacement is guaranteed free of charge, unless one of the two solutions is disproportionate to the other. The buyer has the obligation to notify an authorised Service

• j. Use of chemical products to clean the appliance,
• k. Use of hairspray or other sprays during use.

The list above is purely indicative and not exhaustive and in any case, this warranty shall not cover all circumstances that cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance.

• In addition, the warranty does not cover any case of improper use of the appliance and professional use.
• All liability is disclaimed for any damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to persons, property and pets as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions provided in the “Instructions and Warnings Booklet” regarding appliance installation, use and maintenance.
• This is without prejudice to any contractual warranty claims against the seller.
