GUIDELINES TO ENSURE PERFORMANCE
- The performance could be limited if the caliper is wet or used under humidity conditions > 80%, If exposed to a liquid, wipe of the liquid and make sure that the area between the slider and the beam has completely dried-out before re-use.
- The optimal operating temperatures of the caliper are in the range of 0-40°C (32-104 °F), do not exceed this range by exposing the caliper to direct sunlight or below 0°C/32° F temperatures.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the calliper.
- Pay attention to protection against falling.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not dissemble, short-circuit, charge, expose to direct sunlight or heat the battery. Otherwise, the battery content may leak, come in contact with the eyes, or cause battery heating or explosion.
- If a battery is swallowed, immediately consult a doctor.
- The outside and inside measuring jaws of this calliper have sharp edges. Handle it with great care to avoid injury.

CLEANING
After each time of using, wipe clean the caliper with a soft dust-free cloth. DO NOT use any type of solvent.

INSTRUCTIONS
Use steps
- Rotate to the right to loosen the locking screw of the calliper and release the lock of the calliper, the hand-pushed roller calliper can be moved.
- Turn on to check if the calliper display and keys work.
- Clean the measuring surfaces of the measuring tool. Close the measuring claw with appropriate force, shortly-press /0 to turn it on and set.
Measurement operation
- Press the switch or pull the calliper frame to light up the display.
- According to the measurement requirements, press the Metric/inch button to select the measurement unit.
- Move the calliper frame so that the measuring surfaces of the two callipers are in close contact with the surfaces of the measured object, and then read the value shown on the screen.
Normal mode:
Turn on the power supply, and the display shows the position of the ruler
frame before turning off the power supply, and the zero position (origin) of
the calliper is the last set zero position ( origin) before turning off the
power supply.
Power saving mode (shutdown time is more than 8 hours):
Turn on the power supply, and the absolute measurement zero position (origin)
of the calliper is the position of the calliper frame when starting up. After
the measuring surface is cleaned, move the ruler frame to close the measuring
surface, and long press the key for five seconds to reset the zero position
(origin) of the absolute measurement mode.
INSTALLING/REPLACING THE BATTERY
- Always use a CR2032 3V battery.
- The supplied batteries are used only to check the functions and performance of the calliper, therefore it may not satisfy the specified battery life.
- To install the battery, please follow the below steps (the procedure is shown in Figure 1): Open the battery compartment, install a new battery (with Positive up forward) and close the compartment.
- Flashing of the digits on the LCD indicates the battery power is low. Remove and replace a new battery.
- If the calliper will not be used for a long time, for example for more than 1 month, remove the battery from the calliper and store it properly. Otherwise, a liquid may leak from the battery and damage the calliper.
