SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To reduce injuries or damages, follow basic safety precautions applied when using any electrical device, including the following:
- Read this instruction manual carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance. Keep the manual for future reference.
- ⚠ Warning: Do not touch exposed cables.
- ⚠ Warning: Do not use the fridge if you suspect any connections could be wet.
- When using the fridge in the vehicle or boat, please make sure the circuit is fused.
- Before connecting the device to the power supply socket, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.
- Place the device on a flat, stable surface.
- Clean this device according to the instructions listed in the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
- ALWAYS turn off the device and disconnect it from the mains supply:
- if it’s not operating correctly
- if there’s an uncommon voice when using
- before disassembling the device
- before cleaning
- when not in use
- When you disconnect the power cord of the device, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord/cable.
- Keep the device out of the reach of children. Do not leave children unsupervised with the product.
- This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner, and all the safety precautions are understood and followed. Children should not play with this device. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.
- Fixed power cables may only be replaced at an authorized service point.
- Do not place any electrical devices inside the refrigerator as moisture could harm these devices!
- Keep the device and its cord away from heat, water, moisture, sharp edges, and any other factor that may damage the appliance or its cord.
- Don’t rinse it with water.
- Do not use in areas with excessive dust, otherwise it may damage the device.
- Protect the product from strong impact and mechanical stress.
- To protect against the risk of electric shock, never immerse the iron in water or other liquids! Do not handle/use it with wet or moist hands.
- Do not use the product for purposes different from those displayed in this operating manual.
- Prevent the fans from being stuck. The fans being stuck will heat the engine and cause a fire. Do not cover the ventilation outlets of the device.
- Your refrigerator requires good ventilation, especially around the vents of the refrigerator; allow a gap of at least 10 cm around the vents and 5 cm around the rest of the unit.
- Avoid placing your refrigerator near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Place the refrigerator on a flat and stable surface. When using the fridge in a vehicle, please use a fastening device to secure it.
- The products should be stored in plastic containers or bottles.
- Don’t switch the function of cool/warm abruptly. Switch the function after 30 minutes of being on OFF.
- Prevent the appliance from being upside down.
- IMPORTANT: use ONLY ONE source of energy at the same time (AC mains supply / DC battery). Do not connect to two power supplies at a time!
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it’s working. ALWAYS disconnect the product from the power supply when it is not in use.
- The producer of this product is not responsible for damages caused by inappropriate handling and using of the device.
- DO NOT use this product if the power cord, the plug, or the device itself shows visible damage, or if the appliance has been dropped or is damaged.
- Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. Only authorized and qualified personnel may repair this device. Never disassemble this device.
- Do not use unauthorized accessories.
- The device should be connected directly to the power supply socket (do not use extension cords). This appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
WORK PERFORMANCE
To obtain an optimized cooling effect, we suggest putting in pre-chilled foods and drinks. It will take 2~3 hours to cool the unfrozen foods or drinks. The device is not designed to heat cold food but to preserve hot foods at a warm temperature.
Energy saving tips
- Select a well-ventilated place and keep the fridge away from heat or direct sunlight;
- Ensure the is space around the contents for the circulation of air;
- Cool the food before putting it into the fridge;
- Reduce the times and duration of opening the fridge cover;
- Set the optimum temperature.
OPERATION
- Make sure that both switches are in the OFF position!
- Insert the plug of the power cord into the socket of the unit OR insert the plug of the cigarette lighter into the cigarette lighter in a car.
- Cooling: set the function switch to the COLD position and the power mode switch to either ECO or MAX. The green indicator will be on indicating the unit is in cooling mode.
- Heating: set the function switch to the HOT position and the power mode switch to either ECO or MAX. The red indicator will be on indicating the unit is in heating mode.
Note
- ECO mode – lower energy consumption;
- MAX mode – maximum performance;
- ECO mode is available only when the device is supplied from AC power mains.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off and unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning!
- Before first use clean the parts that come in contact with food.
- Never immerse the device in water or put it under running water. Wipe its housing and interior with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use any aggressive detergents to clean this appliance.
- It is recommended to clean the device after each use. Do not leave the refrigerator switched off with food inside or lid closed.
- Allow the interior of the device to dry thoroughly before closing the lid.
