UNPACKING YOUR MICROREMEDY

1. Remove the hardware and components from the shipping box and inspect all items for shipping damage.
2. Carefully read all safety warnings and operating instructions before setting up and using the MicroRemedy.
3. Go to microremedy.lifeprofitness.com and register your product within 14 days of purchase to activate your lifetime warranty.
4. Complete the steps in the EASY-START SETUP GUIDE on page 8 to begin using the MicroRemedy.

EASY-START SETUP GUIDE

FCC STATEMENT

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the operating instructions before using the MicroRemedy. Keep this manual for reference.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

• Fully charge the battery, for up to 4 hours, before using it for the first time.
• To charge the battery:

1. Connect the charging adapter to the DC charging jack on the front of the MicroRemedy.
2. Plug the charging adapter into a wall outlet. The LED indicator will flash.

• During use, the indicator LEDs indicate the current battery level:
• 3 LEDs lit = 61–100% charged.
• 2 LEDs lit = 31–60% charged.
• 1 LEDs lit = <31% charged.

• When one battery indicator LED remains, charge the battery right away to avoid a reduction in battery capacity and service life.
• Average run-time on a full battery charge is 2 hours.
• After the first charge, it will typically take 3–4 hours to charge the battery.
• Disconnect the charging cable immediately after charging and before cleaning or storing.

NOTE: The MicroRemedy may not be used while it is charging

USING THE MICROREMEDY

1. Insert a finger or toe into the opening on the front of the MicroRemedy so that it rests on the finger/toe bed. You may need to pinch the back of the device to open the hinge and allow room for insertion of larger fingers/toes.
2. Press the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn on the MicroRemedy to standby mode. The time display will show the working time of 7 minutes.
3. Press the On/Off button for 1 second to begin the treatment program. The blue 470 nm LEDs and 905 nm cold laser will turn on and the time will begin to count down.
4. Press the On/Off button for 1 second to pause the session and press it again for 1 second to resume it. Press for 2 seconds to end the session at any time. The MicroRemedy automatically shuts down after the 7-minute working time ends.
5. Pinch the back of the device to open the hinge and remove your finger or toe.
6. Always power off and unplug the device after each use.

NOTE: Allow the device to completely cool down before storing or cleaning.

WARNING: Do not look into the MicroRemedy opening. Avoid direct eye contact with the blue/infrared laser LEDs. Never disassemble the device.

TREATMENT FREQUENCY AND DURATION

NOTE: Wait at least 2 hours between treatment sessions on the same finger or toe. Do not use more than 3 times per day on the same finger or toe.

3-MONTH TREATMENT PLAN
Commit to a 3-month treatment plan with the MicroRemedy.

You could see results sooner, but full benefits may not be achieved until you have completed at least three months of treatment. Be patient and consistent, using the MicroRemedy for 7 minutes per infected nail, up to 3 times a day, for a full 3 months.

Do not stop your other antifungal treatments (especially any prescribed medication) abruptly when you begin light therapy treatment, even when you begin to see results. If you see significant improvement after 3–4 weeks of treatment, discuss treatment options with your doctor or nail specialist.

LIGHT THERAPY BENEFITS

USING THE ACUPRESSURE RINGS

Acupressure or shiatsu rings are made up of small triangle‑shaped points formed into a round ring. The rings stimulate acupressure points and reflexology zones in your hands, feet, or other areas of the body. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is believed that by stimulating the acupressure points, you can stimulate internal organs and bodily functions.
This brings the energetic functions of the organs and body into balance.

Acupressure applies the same principles as acupuncture but does not puncture the skin’s surface. Applying pressure to certain points on the hands, feet, or body releases tension, calms anxiety, improves blood circulation in the area, and can even boost your energy and mental focus!

Whether you are fidgety, fatigued, or feeling achy, these understated rings are convenient and easy to use. The acupressure rings can be worn anywhere and it only takes short time to begin to feel the benefits. Carry your acupressure rings with you, so you can use them as needed throughout the day.

MASSAGING YOUR FINGER OR TOE

1. Place an acupressure ring on a finger or toe.
2. Use your other hand to slide the ring up and down your finger or toe.
3. Repeat as many times as you would like.

MASSAGING YOUR PALM, WRIST, OR THE BACK OF YOUR HAND

1. Place an acupressure ring on your index finger.
2. Slide the ring on your index finger back and forth acrossyour other palm, wrist, or the back of your hand.
3. Repeat as many times as you would like.

You can also massage other areas of your body. Simply slide an acupressure ring over the area you wish to target.

• Do not use without a diagnosis of fungal nail infection (onychomycosis).
• Do not use this product if you:
• Have open or bleeding wounds. Do not use over swollen or inflamed skin.
• Have a sunburn, a skin disorder, including inflammatory skin disorders, or sensitive skin on or near the treatment area.
• Consult with your physician before using this product if you:
• Are, or suspect you may be, pregnant or if you have recently given birth.
• Are under the care of a physician for a serious pre-existing health condition or have any concerns about your health.
• Have recently had surgery or tattoos near the treatment area, if you have cancer or suspect you may have cancerous lesions. Do not use over malignant or benign tumors.
• Take steroid medication, use a topical steroid, or receive steroid injections.
• Take a topical or oral medication that may cause photosensitivity (sensitivity to sunlight), including some antibiotics, antifungals, antidepressants, antipsychotics, oral contraceptives, psoralens, cardiac, diabetic, blood pressure, and cholesterol medications, chemotherapy drugs, pain medications, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), diuretics, cold and allergy medications, and retinoids (such as Retin-A and Retinol).
• Use a product that may cause photosensitivity, such as alpha-hydroxy acids (like glycolic acid), beta-hydroxy acids (like salicylic acid), Retin-A and Retinol, melatonin, citrus essential oils, St. John’s Wart, acne products, antibacterial soap, and coal tar and petroleum products.
• Are or may be sensitive to blue light, infrared light, or laser diodes.

CAUTION

• If the device begins to feel too hot against your skin, turn it off immediately.
• Keep long hair away from the product to avoid getting it caught in the hinge.
• The device will automatically power off after 7 minutes.
  Do not use continuously for more than 7 minutes in one treatment area. Wait at least 2 hours between 7-minute treatment sessions in the same area.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

WARNING! Do not allow water or other liquids to come into contact with the device. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.

• Use the device only over clean, dry skin to keep the inside clean.
• Turn off, unplug, and allow the device to cool down before cleaning or storing.
• Wipe the silicone finger/toe bed with an alcohol-soaked cotton pad after each use.
• Wipe the outside of the device with a soft, slightly damp cloth, as needed.
• Do not use abrasive, corrosive, solvent, or chemical cleaners or harsh detergents to clean the device.
• Once a week, remove the silicone finger/toe bed from inside the device and clean it thoroughly with an alcohol-soaked cotton pad.
• Store the device in a cool dry, indoor location. Disconnect the charging adapter before storing.
• Do not store other objects on top of the device. Store in the original box to prevent damage.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device; contains no user-serviceable parts.
