Product Usage Instructions

Installation
To install the IP 26-Port Gigabit Switch with 24-PoE Ports and 2 SFP Uplink (Model: P24S26G2), follow these steps:

  1. Choose a suitable location for the switch, ensuring proper ventilation and access to power outlets.
  2. Connect the included power cord to the switch and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. If using SFP uplink ports, insert the required SFP modules into the corresponding ports.
  4. Connect network devices to the switch using Ethernet cables.
  5. If applicable, attach the rack mount ears to the switch for mounting in a rack.

Configuration

The IP 26-Port Gigabit Switch can be configured using the following steps:

  1. Connect a computer to one of the switch ports using an Ethernet cable.
  2. Launch a web browser and enter the default IP address of the switch (refer to the user manual) in the address bar.
  3. Enter the default login credentials (username and password) provided in the user manual to access the switch’s web interface.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure various settings such as VLANs, QoS, and security options.
  5. Save the configuration changes and restart the switch if required.

Usage
Once the IP 26-Port Gigabit Switch is installed and configured, you can start using it for network connectivity. Simply connect your network devices (e.g., computers, printers, IP cameras) to the switch’s ports using Ethernet cables. The switch will automatically detect and establish connections between devices.
