Product Information
The WIFI Smart Light Switch is a 1 or 2-Gang 1-Way switch that can be controlled using an iOS or Android phone. It supports theGosund APP and voice control through compatibility with Alexa, Google Home, Tmall Genie, or Xiaodu speakers. The switch also features timing function for automatic on/off, overload protection for easy replacement of traditional mechanical switches (requires neutral wire), smart scene capabilities, and device grouping.
Usage Instructions
Installation
Note: Ensure the power on the circuit breaker is turned off before wiring. If you have no wiring experience, please call a professional electrician.
Step 1: Opening the Switch Glass Panel
Use a flat screwdriver to pry out the slots on the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the switch bottom shell to open it.
Step 2: Wiring Methods
Method 1: Neutral Wire Required
- The Live wire is connected to the L terminal.
- The Neutral wire is connected to the N terminal.
- The Lighting wire is connected to L1, L2, or L3 terminals.
Method 2: No Neutral Wire Required (Capacitor Required)
- The Live wire is connected to the L terminal.
- The Lighting wire is connected to L1, L2, or L3 terminals.
- If using a 1-Gang switch, the L1 lamp needs to be connected to a capacitor.
- If using a 2-Gang switch, the L1 lamp needs to be connected to a capacitor.
Note: The wire colors indicated in this manual are the usual colors and may vary in some houses. Make sure the wire conductors are securely attached to each wire. Ensure that the Wi-Fi signal is stable and working properly before wiring.
Step 3: Installing the Switch
Install the switch using the provided screws and snap the wall plate onto it.
Step 4: Powering On
Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker, then turn on the lights.

Install
How to open the switch glass panel
Use a flat screwdriver to pry out the slots on the top and bottom (as well as left and right) of the switch bottom shell to open it
Notice:
- Make sure the power on the circuit breaker is turned off before wiring.
- Two wiring methods:
- Wiring method 1: neutral wire needs to be connected
- Wiring method 2: No need to connect the neutral wire (capacitor required)
- The wire colors indicated in this manual are the usual colors and may vary in some houses.
- Make sure the wire conductors are securely attached to each wire.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi signal is stable and working properly before wiring.
- If you do not have any wiring experience, please call a professional electrician.
First step:
- Turn off the circuit breaker and test the power with an electrical tester.
- Make sure the switch is off before wiring.
Second step
- Remove existing wall panels; turn on power at breaker and use electrical tester to check which wire is the line; the tester will flash or beep when near the line
- Turn off the power at the circuit breaker, if there is a power outage, use an electrical tester, pull the existing witch out; mark the wiring and other wires; disconnect the power with pliers and remove the wires from the existing switch.
- Connect the switch wires to the wall box with the wire conductors according to the wiring diagramin the wire.
- Third step:Install the switch using the screws provided and snap the wall plate onto it.
- the fourth step:Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker, then turn on the lights.
Wiring method 1:
Neutral & Live wire(Neutral wire Required) The Live wire is connected to the “L” terminal, The Neutral wire is connected to the “N” terminal, Lighting wire is connected to “L1, L2, L3” terminals

Add device
Add device to “Gosund” APP
- Step 1: Download and install the “Gosund” APP:Scan the QR code below
- Step 2: Enter the phone settings option, turn on the Bluetooth and WiFi functions, and turn on the product at the same time
- Step 3: Open the Gosund APP, register and log in your account, if you have a Gosund account, just log in.
- Step 4: Power on after the wiring is completed, the device is powered on by default, press and hold the touch wall switch button for about 8s, until the WiFi blue LED flashes quickly, enter the network configuration mode
- Step 5: Enter the App, click the “+” at the top right of the page to enter the network connection page.
- Step 6: Make sure your device’s light is blinking quickly (2 times per second) tap to proceed to the next step.
- Step 7: Enter your WiFi and password
- Step 8: Name your device.
- Step 9: When the WiFi LED is on, the device is online. Take control now!
How to use smart speakers to control devices, such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Tmall Genie?
Open the Gosund app to enter the “Me” view and find the user guide for the corresponding smart speaker.
Note: Before using the smart speaker, please log in to your account on Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Tmall Genie.
