Product Usage Instructions
Installation Instructions:
- Turn off the POWER at the circuit breaker before installing the Floor Box.
- Read and understand the provided instructions before installation.
- Ensure the device is installed following the National Electric Code and local regulations.
- It is recommended to have a qualified electrician perform the installation.
Wiring Directions:
- Connect the HOT wire to the BLACK wire.
- Connect the NEUTRAL wire to the WHITE wire.
- Connect the GROUND wire to the GREEN wire on the switch.
Floor Box Installation:
- Ensure there is sufficient depth and space below the subfloor before installation.
- For carpeted floors, cut out the carpet based on the size of the cover. For wood subfloors, route as indicated.
- Remove knockouts and secure the box onto the floor. Pull the wire through the opening and connect based on the wiring diagram.
- Attach the box to the floor using #6 wood screws (not provided).
- Attach the cover to the box using #6-32 mounting screws and tighten firmly.

WARNING

Read and understand these instructions before installing. This device is
intended for installation per the National Electric Code and local
regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician performs thi
installation. Make sure to turn off the circuit breaker or fuse(s) and make
sure the power is off before wiring the device. Use copper wire only, or
equivalent.
NOTES:
10-12 AWG Stranded or Solid Copper wire is recommended.
WIRING DIRECTIONS
- Connect the HOT wire to the BLACK wire.
- Connect the NEUTRAL wire to the WHITE wire.
- Connect the GROUND wire to the GREEN wire on the switch.
FLOOR BOX INSTALLATION
Before Installation:
Ensure there is sufficient depth & space below the subfloor.
Step 1
For carpeted floors:
Cut out the amount of carpet based on the size of the cover.
For wood sub-floors
- Tape the template on the area you want to place the floor box.
- Use a knife to cut the outline of the box. Start with the ears and move inwards. Cut the box shape without the ears completely through the subfloor.
- Cut 1/4″ depth into the subfloor for the mounting ears.
- Using a router is recommended
Step 2
- Remove knockouts and secure the box onto the floor.
- Pull the wire through the opening of the floors and knockouts and connect wires based on the wiring diagram.
NOTE :
- Attach the box to the floor using #6 wood screws (not provided).
- Attach the cover to the box using #6-32 mounting screws and tighten firmly.
