SAFETY GUIDELINE
WARNING
- Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Some items may be packed in plastic bags; these bags could cause suffocation; and keep away from children and pets.
- Do NOT allow small children to play with, in, or around the pet feeder.
- To reduce the risk of injury, please keep close supervision when an appliance is used near children.
- Do NOT use the feeder with pets not able to reach the food tray or with any physical disability.
- Do NOT immerse the base part in water at any time as it may damage electronic components like the control panel.
- Do NOT place any foreign objects in the pet feeder.
- Do NOT use outdoors. Check operation frequently to be sure the unit is dispensing properly.
- Do NOT use wet, canned, or moist food.
- Do NOT disassemble the unit other than as instructed in this User Guide.
- Do NOT use the feeder for anything other than its intended use.
- Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition. Do not modify the pet feeder.
- Do not operate any appliance if the unit is malfunctioning or has been damaged. Do not attempt repairs on the pet feeder yourself. Contact our customer service immediately for further instructions.
- Always unplug when not in use and before cleaning.
- Never pull on the electrical power cord to remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- If the plug of this device gets wet, turn on the electricity to that wall outlet. Do not attempt to unplug.
- Examine the feeder after installation. Do not plug in if there is water on the power cord or plug.
- To avoid tripping, always position the power cord out of the way of foot traffic.
CAUTION
- Do NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. If you are concerned about the power cord, purchase a cord conduit (a hard plastic protector) at any hardware store to protect the power cord.
- If an extension cord is necessary, one unit with a proper rating should be used.
- Use alkaline C batteries to power Do NOT use rechargeable batteries.
- Check the batteries regularly. Before Leaving for an extended time, always replace batteries with new ones.
- Do NOT lift the pet feeder by lid, food tank, or food tray. Lift and carry it using both hands and the base, while keeping the unit in an upright position.
- Suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble size ranging from 2-16mm / 0.07-0.63in in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet.
- Do not put your fingers into the food outlet or let your fingers touch the rotor.
- Read and observe all important notices listed on the pet feeder and in the packaging.

USE INSTRUCTION
- a. Assembly and Prepare for Setting
1. Unscrew the lid counterclockwise and remove the base in the food tank;
2. Place the feeder in a desired location. Check the food tank is in place.
3. Align of the food tank and the base, and flip the toggle switches on both sides to ” “
4. Place the desiccant bag into the inner box under the lid.
* **Notes:**
* It is recommended to change the desiccant bag every 15 days to prevent mould growth.
* Remove the desiccant bag before cleaning the lid.
5. Add dry pet food to the food tank.
* **Notes:**
* Recommended kibble size:2-16mm/0.07-0.63 inch in diameter.
* Do not use canned, wet, or moist food.
6. Put the lid back on. To snap into place, turn the lid clockwise from the right rotating sign to the left rotating sign.
7. Install the food bowl Attach the bowl to the designated notches underneath the feeder base.
* **Note:** Before moving the feeder, press the bowl down to remove it from the feeder base. If there is grain in the food bowl, handle it gently to avoid spilling. Hold the base instead of any other parts when lifting the feeder.
8. Connect Power
* Plug the 5V power adapter into a power socket and the Type-C cable into the port on the back of the feeder.
* Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. Install three alkaline C batteries (not included) in case of a power outage. Make sure the batteries match the positive and negative poles with the markings in the compartment.
* **Notes:**
* Batteries are not included.
* To avoid sudden power outages and the feeding of your pet being affected, do not use the batteries as the only source to power the feeder, the batteries can only be used as an emergency plan.
* To avoid battery leakage, remove the batteries if you won’t be using the device for some time.
PROGRAM SETTING
- a. Set Current Time
- Please pay attention to the 12-hour AM/PM format. Time will change from AM to PM automatically according to your setting.

- Press the , and the Time icon will blink the hour field.
- Use the to set the current hour, and then press the to move to the minutes setting to save and move to the minutes setting.
b. Setting the meal per day
- Press the and the LCD will blink the Meal number
- ( Note: at this time only meal number ” 1 ” in flash, the clock does not flash). Press the , meal number in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in the cycle change, and select the meal number to be set. For example, choose to set meal number “1”
- Then press the to set the feeding time of the first meal, and the hour digits will flash. Press the to set the hour.
- Press the to save and move to the minutes setting. The minute’s digits flash, press the to set the minute.
- Press the to save and move to the meal portion setting. Press the to set the portion (MAX 20), press the again to save and then press the move to the second meal setting.
- Repeat the steps above to set the time and portion of other meals if needed, the feeder supports up to 6 scheduled meals per day. If only 2 or 3 meals are needed, please long press the to return to the current time page, you feeding schedules will be automatically saved.
c. Recording a Meal Call
- Press and hold the for 3s until a beep is heard.
- Record your voice for less than 22, press the again 2 beeps will be heard indicating it’s saved. You can quickly press the to check the voice you just recorded.
- Repeat the process to change your recordings every time.
- Clear recording: Quickly press the for three times when the screen is unlocked (press the ) and until three beeps are heard.
d. Manually Feeding Your Pet
- Long press the when the screen is unlocked (press the ) and one portion will be fed each time.
- Note: The normal schedule and portion will not be affected.
e. Restore Factory Setting
- Hold the and at the same time to delete all previous settings and restore the device to its factory settings.
REMOTE CONTROL
- UNLOCK: Press this button to unlock the screen.
- The screen is locked when there’s no operation in the 60s.
- +: Press to increase value.
- -: Press to decrease value.
- CLOCK: Set the current time. Short press to enter the next step, and long press to save. Refer to part PROGRAM SETTING step-a to set the feeding time.
- SET: Set a feeding schedule. Short press to enter the next step, and long press to save. Refer to part PROGRAM SETTING step-b to set the feeding schedule.
- 2 MEALS PER DAY: After pressing this button, you only need to adjust the feeding portions by pressing the +/- button and then press the button again to save the setting
- Note: The current time + 12 hours is the time of the first meal of the day, and the current time + 24 hours is the time of the second meal of the day.
- 3 MEALS PER DAY: After pressing this button, you only need to adjust the feeding portions by pressing the +/- button and then press the button again to save the setting.
- Note: The current time + 8 hours is the time of the first meal of the day, and every 8 hours is the time of the next feeding, for a total of three meals a day.
- 4 MEALS PER DAY: After pressing this button, you only need to adjust the feeding portions by pressing the +/- button and then press the button again to save the setting.
- Note: The current time + 6 hours is the time of the first meal of the day, and every 6 hours is the time of the next feeding, for a total of four meals a day.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Solution |

I can’t press any buttons | The screen is locked when there’s no operation in |
the 60s. Please press the power button to unlock the screen.
I can’t remember the meal settings| Short press the view the meal time and
several of each meal.
The food won’t come out| 1) Please be sure to fill in with dry food; kibble
size should range from 2-16mm /0.07-0.63 inch in diameter.
2) Check whether any foreign objects are placed disassemble the food tank and check the chute. Also, check if the food outlet is blocked.
3) Check whether it’s low battery level whether the power adapter is connected or if there is any outage when no battery is installed.
LCD is off| Check whether the power adapter is connected.
I can’t hear any voice recordings when feeding| Make sure you’ve recorded
successfully unlock the screen, and press the Record button to check. If no
sound is heard, you may need to record again and be sure to save the following
instructions in the Recording a Meal Call section.
CLEANING & CARE
- It’s recommended to clean the feeder regularly for the health of your pet.
- The washable parts of the iPettie auto feeder are as follows: food tank, food tray, impeller and lid (without desiccant bag); they can be submerged in water.
- Clean by hand-washing using cool or warm soapy water.
- Dissembling the food tank
- Turn the toggle switch on both sides of the base to ” ” to take out the food tank.
- Dissembling the food tray
- Empty the tray, and press it down to remove from the base.
- Rinse and let all parts air dry completely before assembling.
- Note: Be careful not to hurt your fingers when disassembling the food tank by great strength.
