The toy’s battery must be charged for 12 hours before its first use. The toy’s battery must be recharged for 10-12 hours after each time you use this toy. (Recharge must be within 12 hours.) If this toy will not be used for a long period, it is recommended that you recharge the battery at least once a month. Do not overload the maximum weight capacity 0of 25 kg (55 lbs). See additional warnings and safety information within these instructions.
Note: Do not pick up using the steering wheel.

Electrical Hazard

  • Risk of Fire, Do Not Bypass. Replace only with the same 30A Fuse. (see P.15)
  • Only use the provided charger or Input AC 100-240V 50-60Hz, Output DC 7.2V 1.0A battery charger.
  • Never modify the toy’s electrical system. Changes could cause a fire resulting in injury or death, and could also ruin the toy’s electrical system
  • Charging the battery must be done by adults only. Children should never be allowed to charge the battery.
  • The electricity involved in charging the battery could injure a child.
  • Both before and after charging the toy’s battery, check the charger and its connectors for excessive wear or damage.
  • Never use the charger if damage or excessive wear is detected until you have replaced the worn or damaged parts

Riding Hazard

  • Direct Adult Supervision is required at all times.
  • Keep children within Safe and well-lit environments away from obstructions, blind paths, swimming pools and other bodies of water, and away from steps, driveways, cars, roads and alleys where traffic may be present.
  • Always wear a seat belt.
  • Always wear protective equipment while operating.
  • Always wear shoes such as sneakers or boots. Do not operate barefoot or while wearing open-toed shoes that may provide less control.
  • Never operate with more than one rider on board.
  • Never operate on loose dirt, sand or gravel.
  • Never operate on inclines or downhill. Use on generally level ground only to prevent tip-overs.
  • Never operate in the dark as unexpected obstacles could cause an accident.
  • Never place anything near moving parts such as motors, gears or wheels. Rotating parts can snag hair, fingers, etc. causing serious injury.
  • Never operate near flammable vapours (such as gasoline, paint thinner, acetone, liquid wax, etc.).
  • Never sit on the rear end of the seat, as this could cause tip-over when riding.
  • Never shift gears while the vehicle is in motion. Always come to a full stop before switching from Forward to Reverse or Reverse to Forward.
  • When the motor stalls or is overloaded, the self-protective circuit will active and the toy will not work temporarily.
  • Please wait several minutes and try again.

Charging, Installation, Care & Disposal

  • Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
  • The Battery and charger are not toys.
  • The toy’s charging battery and the replacement of the sound box battery must be performed by an adult.
  • Children should never be allowed to charge or change batteries.
  • The battery must be charged 12 hours before its first use.
  • Make sure to plug the charger into a standard 100 – 220V (50 – 60HZ) wall outlet only.
  • You must recharge the battery for 10-12 hours after each time you use the toy. (Recharge must be within 12 hours.)
  • Never charge for more than 16 hours.
  • Disconnect the charger from the wall outlet and then the charger from the battery.
  • If you are not going to use the toy for a long period, make sure you recharge the battery at least once a month.
  • Do not charge or store this toy upside down.
  • Always charge the battery in a well-ventilating area.
  • Always charge the battery before storing this toy for a long period.
  • Make sure to charge the battery at least once a month, even if the toy is not being used.
  • Never let the battery run down completely before charging.
  • Never leave the battery in a discharged condition. This may damage it.
  • Make sure to return exhausted batteries to an approved lead-acid battery recycler.
  • Use the charger in the dry area only.

Battery Warnings (Soundbox)

Warning
Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage to the product and surrounding property.

  • If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from eyes, ears nose and mouth.
  • Immediately wash any clothing or other surface that comes into contact with leaked battery acid. Leaking batteries may make “popping” sounds. Dispose according to Local, State and Federal Laws.

To Avoid Battery Problems

  • NEVER mix old and new batteries or different brands of batteries.
  • NEVER mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries with this product.
  • NEVER dispose of batteries in a fire, as they may leak and explode.
  • NEVER use rechargeable batteries.
  • NEVER attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • ALWAYS remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
  • ALWAYS have an adult install battery consistent with installation instructions.
  • ONLY use batteries specified by the manufacturer.
  • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct Polarity.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be charged.

Lead-Acid Battery Disposal (For Motor)
The toy’s battery is a sealed lead-acid battery. Certain precautions should be place to ensure safe and environmentally friendly disposal:

  1. Never dispose of the toy’s battery in household trash. The incineration, land-filling, mixing, or placing in a landfill of a sealed lead-acid battery with your household trash is prohibited by law in most areas.
  2. Ensure an exhausted battery is returned to an approved lead-acid battery recycler or contact your local authority for more details. Recycle or dispose of it according to local, state or federal laws.
  3. To locate a service centre, contact your local waste management company.

Assembly Instruction

Install Front Bumper
Installing the front bumper

Step #1
(Toy’s Body, Front Bumper) Connect the Front Bumper to the Toy’s Body front.

Step #2 (Screw x 6)
Turn over the Toy’s Body and insert 6 screws into the holes of the Front Bumper and tighten the screws with a Philips screwdriver (not included)

Install Rear Bumper

Step #3 (Rear Bumper)
Connect the Rear Bumper to the back of the Toy’s Body.

Step #4 (Screw x4)
Insert 4 Screws into Rear Bumper holes and tighten the screws with a Philips screwdriver

Install Rear Wheel

Step #5 (Long Spacer x 1, Rear Axle)
Place the Long Spacer at the Rear Body bottom as shown. Slide the end of the Rear Axle through the opening into the Toy’s Body and across through the Long Spacer hole in the gearbox.

Step #6 (Left Rear Wheel x1, Bushing x1)
Insert the Bushing into the Left Rear Wheel hole

Step #7 (Washer x1, Nut x1, Short Spacer x 1)
Place the Short Spacer on the Rear Axle then place the Left Rear Wheel on the Rear Axle. Place the Washer on the Rear Axle then the nut on the wheel and tighten with the Nut Tool (provided).
(Note: Do not put Red Wheel Cap yet.)

Step #8 (Right Rear Wheel, Washer x1, Nut x1)
Place the Right Rear Wheel on the Rear Axle. Ensure the Wheel is connected to the gearbox. Place another Washer on the Rear Axle then a nut on the wheel and tighten with the Nut Tool (provided)

Step #9 (Nut tool x2)
Tighten the Left Wheel and Right Wheel nuts by using 2 Nut Tools. Hold 1 side of the nut by 1 tool then tighten the opposite side of the nut with the other tool.

Step #10 (Rear Wheel Cap x2)
Snap the Rear Wheel Cap at the Rear Left and Right Wheel holes after tightening the nut at the axle (Note: Do not force the Red Wheel Cap on, twist it until it lines up and clicks into place)

Step #11 (Front Wheel x1, Bushing x1, Washer x2, Nut x1) Insert the Bushing into the Front Wheel hole. Place the Washer on the Front Axle then place the Front Wheel on the Front Axle. Place another Washer on the Front axle then nut on the wheel and tighten with the Nut Tool.

Step #12 (Front Wheel x1, Bushing x1, Washer x2, Nut x1, Front Wheel Cover Cap x2) Repeat to install the other side of the Front Wheel as described in Step #11. Snap the Front Wheel Cover Cap at Left & Right Front Wheel holes.

Step #13 (Right Exhaust x1, Left Exhaust x1)
Insert the Right Exhaust into the Toy’s Body rear hole. Insert the Left Exhaust into the opposite hole.

Step #14 (Long Screw x2)
Insert the Long Screw into the hole in the Left and Right Exhausts. Tighten the screw using a Philips screwdriver.

Step #15 ( Hood, Steering Column) Insert the Steering Column into the Hood.

Step #16 (Steering Wheel, Long Screw x1)

Note: Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) before installing the Steering wheel (see page 15) Place the Steering Wheel at the end of the Axle and insert the Long Screw to the Steering Wheel hole. Tighten the Long Screw using a Philips Screwdriver.

Step #17
Insert the Front Hood into the Toy’s Body and the Front Bumper.

Step #18 (Screw with Washer x2)
Insert 2 Screws with Washers into the Front Hood hole. Tighten the screw using the Philips Screwdriver.

Step #19 (Small Washer x1, Pin x1)
Place the Steering Column into the control bar hole. Put the Small Washer into the Steering Column. Insert the Pin into the hole then bend to lock the Steering Column.

Step #20 (Right Side Box)
Connect the Power plug from the Right Side Box to the Toy’s Wire Plug. Connect the Right SideBox to the Toy’s Body’s right side.

Step #21 (Screw x 4)
Turn over the Toy’s Body and insert 4 screws into the Right Box holes. Tighten the screws using a Philips Screwdriver.

Step #22 (Left Side Box, Screw x4)
Connect the Left Side Box to the Toy’s Body left side. Then turn over the Toy’s Body and insert 4 screws into the Left Side Box holes. Tighten the screws using a Philips Screwdriver.

Step #23 (Seat, Small Screw x3)
Place the Seat on the Toy’s Body. Insert 3 Small Screws into the Seat holes. Tighten the screws using a Philips Screwdriver.

Steering Function Direction
Realistic steering with the buttons for Horn and Music sound. Press the Reset button to start over the sound again. (Ensure the batteries are installed)

Operation Controls
Commands Make sure the driver is correctly sitting in the seat and fasten the seat belt. Press the Power “ON” switch. Place the shifter into the “FORWARD” or “BACKWARD” position. Press down the Pedal with your foot to move.

Charging and Battery Instruction (Adult assembly and maintenance required) Remove the Charging hole cover at the back of the Toy. Insert the Charger Connector into the hole. The Red light will show while the charger is connected. After charging the battery for 10-12 hours (no more than 16 hours) disconnect the Charger. Replace the Charging hole cover. (The Red light is the indication that the charger is connected only, the Red Light will remain on while fully charged)

Change Fuse
Disconnect the Charger first. Unscrew the Seat. Open the fuse cover and remove the damaged fuse. Replace the identical 30A fuse. Close the fuse cover. Replace Seat screws and tighten.

Install Steering Wheel Battery
Unscrew the battery cover. Insert 2 pcs AA(LR6) batteries inside the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.

Troubleshooting

The toy does not start or operate the property:

  • Battery charge may be low – charge the battery for 10-12 hours
  • Blown fuse – replace the blown fuse with the same type and value fuse (30A)
  • Loose charger connection – re-fit and tighten the connector, and ensure the charging LED is lit up.
  • The self-protective circuit is active when overloaded or the motor is stalled – wait several minutes and try again.
  • Damage on an electrical part – contact JAKKS consumer service at consumers@jakks.com or 1-877-875-2557 in North America only
  • Damage to motor – contact JAKKS consumer service consumers@jakks.com or 1-877-875-2557 in North America only
  • The toy appears to have a shorter running time than expected:
  • Battery charge is low – charge the battery for 10-12 hours
  • The toy appears to have a slower speed than expected
  • Battery charge may be low – charge the battery for 10-12 hours
  • The rider may be heavier than the recommended capacity – do not exceed the maximum weight of 25kg (55lbs)

Thanks for purchasing a great JAKKS Pacific® product! Please immediately register your product online at www.jakks.com/warranty. Registration is not required for the effectiveness of this limited warranty.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CONSUMER
This 90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY applies to the original product purchaser provided the product: 1) was purchased from an authorized JAKKS™ distributor/dealer/retailer, and 2) is returned at your expense, postage prepaid and insured, along with the original dated sales receipt to the address noted below. Please save a copy of your original sales receipt, as the original receipt will not be returned to you. If you return the product to us without the original dated sales receipt, this warranty coverage will not apply.

If the product is determined by JAKKS to be defective and returned to JAKKS within the 90-day warranty period, we will (at our option) repair or replace it. Return shipment to you may take up to 6 weeks, depending upon your location. If your product is repaired or replaced, it will be warranted for the longer of the original warranty or 30 days after warranty service.

SCOPE OF LIMITED WARRANTY
The product is warranted to be: a) tested and inspected before shipment, and b) free of defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. If a covered defect occurs within the warranty
period, then at our sole option, we will repair or replace the product or provide you with another product of equal value.
