The Laica filter kettle is an appliance for filtering drinking water. The kettle uses a cartridge to filter mains drinking water to improve its taste by removing some unwanted substances that it may contain. All Laica filter cartridges are made in Italy and are always sterilised. Laica filter cartridges consist of silver-coated activated carbon of vegetable origin, and ion exchange resins. Activated carbon is generally effective in reducing chlorine and its derivatives. Ion exchange resins are generally effective in reducing heavy metals in mains water. To ensure that you are properly informed, ask your mains water supplier for more information, or test the water coming out of your home tap prior to use.
CAUTION : Only use the filter cartridge with DRINKING WATER that is microbiologically safe (check with the relevant local authority).
