Guide
Installing Batteries
Requires 3 x 1.5V AAA Batteries, (not included). Alkaline batteries are
recommended.
Slide the power switch to the OFF position. Use a screwdriver to remove the
screw from the battery compartment. Insert the batteries according to the
polarity. Refit the cover and the screw. Slide the power switch to the ON
position.
NOTES:
Please note that there is not a light to indicate that the power is on.
Therefore, when the Power Switch is in the ON position the Album is ready for
you to use. Use only new batteries of the stated size and type. DO NOT mix old
and new batteries or different types of batteries. Never let children play
with batteries. To avoid risk of explosion, do not recharge, heat or dispose
of batteries in a fire.
How to RECORD and PLAYBACK a message
The total recording time is 6 minutes, (360 seconds). You can record a single 18 second voice message on each of the 20 pages, Each page is restricted to 18 seconds recording.
- Slide the power switch to the ON position.
- Press and hold the RECORD button and then press and hold the PLAY button on one of the pages by squeezing it between your thumb and forefinger. The red light will illuminate to indicate recording. Please note that the red light will only illuminate when recording is in progress.
- Ensure that both buttons remain pressed so that the red light remains on as you record. Speak clearly approximately 15 cm from the Microphone. When you have finished recording, release both buttons.
- Each time the PLAY button is pressed, your message will begin to playback. You can pause the playback at any time by pressing the PLAY button and then press it again to continue.
NOTES:
Each message can be re-recorded as many times as you wish by repeating the
steps above. New recorded messages on the same page will REPLACE the old ones.
You cannot record new messages until you have played back the old messages.
When you have recorded for 18 seconds on a single page, the recording will
automatically stop and the red light will turn off.
Message Protection:
If you wish to protect your recorded messages from accidental erasure, locate the small switch hidden inside the battery compartment. To disable recording, move the switch to the left position.
Troubleshooting:
If you are unable to record a message, please check the LOCK Switch. OFF is the left position. If you are unable to record or play, please check that the batteries are tight and installed correctly.
