Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Connect with CarPlay Screen
- Turn on the CarPlay screen.
- On your phone, go to the Settings menu and turn on Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Location Services. Within Bluetooth settings, search for new devices.
- Select “NAVC-BHUD_XXXX” to initiate the pairing process. If prompted, enter the passcode 0000.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to grant the necessary permissions.
- Give it about 30 seconds for your CarPlay screen to show the CarPlay/Android Auto home screen.
Step 2: Connect to Your Car Audio
Audio Option: (3.5mm) Auxiliary audio cable
Use this method when your car stereo has a 3.5mm AUX Audio IN
port. This method provides the best audio experience.
- Connect the included 3.5mm audio cable to the CarPlay screen and to your car stereo.
- Switch the car audio system to ‘AUX’ mode.
Audio Option: FM frequency
Use this method when your car stereo does not have a 3.5mm AUX Audio IN port but has an FM radio.
- On the CarPlay screen, click on the FM TX icon.
- Select a preset frequency or move the slider at the top to select a custom frequency.
- On your car FM radio, tune to the same frequency you’ve selected on the CarPlay screen.
Audio Option: Built-in speakers
Use this option when no external audio connection is available. No setup is required.
