while using electrical appliances, including the following: NOTE: The charger for this appliance is not included. If you want to purchase one, the recommended parameters are: Input: 100-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz, Output DC 5V/1A. Use only a charger with these technical parameters for charging. Li-Pol BATTERIES

  • Built-in Li-Pol batteries are used in this appliance. Do not attempt to replace them yourself.

  • If a fluid leaks from the batteries, prevent contact with the eyes, mucous membranes and skin. Do not breathe in fumes. The affected area must be rinsed immediately with copious amounts of clean water.
    Seek a doctor in every case. DANGER of fire and  explosion

  • Do not leave the appliance unattendedwhen the power cord is plugged in.

  • Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight, proximity to heat source or fire or high temperatures. The cells could catch fire and explode. In case of fire use a specific suitable extinguisher (powder fire extinguisher ABC, CO2 or extinguisher for putting out Li-Pol batteries). NEVER USE WATER.

  • Store the appliance in a dry environment with low humidity, without corrosive gases, and at a safe distance from flammable materials, at a temperature ranging from 5 to 35 °C. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Use the appliance only for the purpose for which it is intended. This appliance is intended only for grinding coffee beans. Do not use it to grind, for example, legumes, grains, poppy seeds nuts, seeds etc.

  • Before grinding make sure that there are no foreign bodies in the beans.

  • Never cover the appliance during operation.

  • Never switch on the appliance when it is empty, and do not remove the coffee container or motor body until it has come to a complete stop.

  • It is forbidden to switch on the appliance until it has been fully assembled.

  • Do not touch the moving parts.

  • Always use the appliance on a flat, stable surface.

  • Do not use equipment not recommended by the manufacturer, otherwise you run the risk of the warranty being voided.

  • Only use the appliance in compliance with the directions given in these instructions. Incorrect use may result in injury or damage to the appliance.

  • This appliance is intended only for home use in an indoor environment. It is not intended for commercial use.

  • The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect use of this appliance.

  • Switch off the appliance before maintenance, installation, assembly, disassembly or cleaning. WARNING: do not switch on the coffee grinder if it is upside down. DANGER FOR CHILDREN

  • Pay extra attention when using the
    grinder near children.

  • Do not leave the grinder unattended when in operation.

  • Children must not use this appliance. Keep the appliance and its lead out of the reach of children.

  • The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or if they were instructed how to use the appliance safely and understand the potential dangers.

  • Children must not play with the appliance.

  • Children must not play with the packaging. Do not let children play with plastic bags. Suffocation danger.
    Do not immerse in water!

BEFORE FIRST USE

Clean the coffee grinder according to the instructions in the chapter “Maintenance and Cleaning” and assemble.

USE OF PRODUCT

  1. Press the start button. If the button is blue, the appliance is switched on. If the button is red, the appliance’s battery is flat.
  2. The grinder switches off automatically when the grinding is completed. You can switch off the grinder manually by pressing the button.
  3. The connector for the charger is on the top of the product. If the appliance is charging, the button is red. If it is fully charged, the button is blue.
  4. You can charge the grinder using the supplied USB-C cable.

Filling the grinder

  1. Twist the top part of the grinder clockwise and separate it from the middle part.
  2. Fill the middle part to the level of approximately 80% with coffee beans.
  3. Connect the top and middle part, and twist them anticlockwise to the “locked” position.

Setting the grind coarseness

You can set the grind coarseness by turning the grind coarseness dial. This is on the bottom of the middle part. Turning the dial clockwise makes the grind finer. Turning it anticlockwise makes it coarser.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Switch off the appliance before maintenance. Be extra careful to prevent injury caused by the burrs.
  2. Wipe the outside of the coffee grinder with a damp cloth. Make sure that no water or moisture gets into the charging connector.
  3. Do not immerse the top part in water.
  4. Store the grinder in a dry environment.
  5. Use the included brush to clean the burrs

Troubleshooting:

The appliance is not charging| 1. make sure that the charging cable is correctly connected and connected to the mains

The device does not switch on| 1. the device is not charged
2. a foreign body has got in between the burrs
3. moisture has got into the top part
The device switches off| 1. fully charge the device (the button is blue)

USE AND DISPOSAL OF WASTE

Wrapping paper and corrugated paperboard – deliver to dump or paper recycling bins. Packing film, PE bags, plastic packaging or elements – dispose of in plastic recycling bins.

DISPOSAL OF PRODUCTS AT END OF LIFETIME
Disposal of electric and electronic equipment (valid in EU member countries and other Europeancountries with an implemented recycling system)

Prevent negative impacts on human health and the environment by properly disposing of the product. Recycling contributes  to preserving natural resources. For more information on the recycling of this product, refer to your local authority, domestic waste processing organization or store where you purchased the product. Incorrect liquidation of this type of waste can result in a fine according to the law.
The Li-Pol battery used in this appliance must not be disposed of in mixed household waste. The battery must be disposed of properly. You can get more information from battery distributors or at waste disposal sites.
This product complies with EU directive requirements on electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety and heavy metals in electric and electronic equipment. It also meets the relevant requirements for energy performance and direct contact with food.
