Product Usage Instructions
Wireless Network Connection Functions
To wirelessly transfer an embroidery pattern from your computer to the machine, follow these steps:
- Ensure that both the computer and the machine are connected to the same wireless network.
- Install the dedicated Windows application called “Design Database Transfer” on your computer.
- Open the application and select the embroidery pattern you want to transfer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the transfer to the machine.
Winding/Installing the Bobbin
To wind/install the bobbin, please refer to the following steps:
- Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source.
- Open the bobbin compartment cover.
- Place the bobbin on the bobbin winder spindle.
- Thread the bobbin thread through the bobbin winding tension disc.
- Hold the end of the thread and start the winding process by pressing the foot controller or the start button.
- Once the bobbin is fully wound, cut the thread and remove the bobbin from the spindle.
- Insert the bobbin into the bobbin case, following the instructions in the Operation Manual.
Upper Threading
To thread the upper thread, please follow these steps:
- Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source.
- Raise the presser foot lever.
- Place a spool of thread on the spool pin.
- Guide the thread through the thread guide and tension discs.
- Thread the needle from front to back.
- Lower the presser foot lever and gently pull the thread to ensure it is properly seated in the tension discs.
- Refer to the Operation Manual for additional instructions on threading specific stitch patterns.
Selecting and Sewing Stitches
To select and sew stitches, please follow these steps:
- Turn on the machine and select the desired stitch pattern using the LCD screen.
- Adjust the stitch length and width as needed.
- Place the fabric under the presser foot, ensuring it is aligned correctly.
- Lower the presser foot lever and gently hold the fabric with both hands.
- Start sewing by pressing the foot controller or the start button.
- Guide the fabric smoothly while maintaining a steady sewing speed.

Wireless Network Connection Functions
Operations available with a wireless network connection
Wirelessly transfer an embroidery pattern from your computer to the machine by
using the dedicated Windows application

Wirelessly transfer to the machine an embroidery pattern edited with embroidery editing software (PE-DESIGN version 11 or later) on a computer. Also, transfer to PE-DESIGN an embroidery pattern edited on the machine.
When an updated version of software is available on our website, the wireless LAN key appears as
Wireless network connection
When you first turn on the machine, the following message about a wireless LAN
connection appears.
To set up a connection, touch OK and then continue with step 4
- Find your security information (SSID and network key) and

- Touch beside the SSID that was noted in step 1.
- When displaying next or previous pages, touch or key to search the SSID that was noted.
- Enter the network key (password) that was noted, and then touch .
