Safety instructions

  • The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
  • Protect the product from dirt, moisture, and overheating and use it in dry environments only.
  • Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources, or in direct sunlight.
  • While driving a car or using sports equipment, do not allow yourself to be distracted by your product and keep an eye on the traffic situation and your surroundings.
  • Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
  • Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.
  • Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
  • The battery is permanently installed and cannot be removed; dispose of the product as a whole in accordance with the statutory regulations.

  • Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
  • Use the product only for the intended purpose.
  • Only use the article under moderate climatic conditions.
  • Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products are not permitted.
  • Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
  • Do not incinerate the battery or the product.
  • Do not tamper with or damage/heat/disassemble the batteries/rechargeable batteries.
  • Take care that components such as airbags, safety areas, controls, instruments, etc., and visibility are not blocked or restricted.
  • Ensure that the product is securely mounted before every journey.

Warning – rechargeable battery

  • Only use suitable charging devices or USB ports to charge the product.
  • Do not use defective chargers or USB ports and do not attempt to repair them.
  • Do not overcharge the product or allow the battery to completely discharge.
  • Avoid storing, charging, and using in extreme temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric pressures (such as at high altitudes).
  • When stored over a long period of time, batteries should be changed regularly (at least every three months).

Switching on/off

ON Press the MFB button (2) for around 3 seconds until the LED (3) lights up blue.
OFF To switch off, press the MFB button (2) for around 3 seconds until the LED (3) flashes red twice and then goes out.

Note – Automatic product switch-off
The product is equipped with an automatic switch-off mechanism. If there is no connection to your device within 10 minutes, it switches itself off automatically.

Charging

Fully charge the product once before using it for the first time.

  1. Connecting the product
    Connect the USB charging cable included to the charging socket (5). Connect the free plug on the micro-USB charging cable to a suitable USB charger. To do this, consult the operating instructions for the USB charger you are using.

  2. Charging process
    The LED (3) lights up solid red during the charging process. Once the charging process is complete, the LED (3) goes out.
    It can take up to 1 hour for the battery to be fully charged.

  3. Battery capacity
    When battery levels are low, the LED (3) starts to flash red.

Bluetooth® pairing

Note – pairing

  • Ensure that the Bluetooth®-enabled device is switched on and that the Bluetooth® function is activated.
  • Please refer to the operating instructions of your device for more information.
  • When the product is switched on for the first time, pairing begins automatically.
  • The product and the device should not be more than 1 meter apart. The shorter the distance, the better.
  • Switch the product on using the MFB button (2).
  • This product has an integrated Bluetooth® function that allows streaming (e.g. from a
  • smartphone) to the product. The product also has a further function that enables transmission to Bluetooth ® devices (such as Bluetooth® headphones/speakers).

7.1 RX receive mode
You can pair your devices with the product using Bluetooth® and use it as a playback device. You can control playback directly on the terminal device. When used as a receiver,  up to 8 transmitters can be stored, the audio signal from which can each be received by a Bluetooth ® device.

  1. Connection to the device
    To connect to your device, connect it using the 3.5 mm AUX cable and the audio input (4) on the product.

device• If the LED (3) is flashing alternately red and blue: the product is searching for a Bluetooth ® connection.
    • If the LED (3) lights up blue: the product is already paired with a Bluetooth ® device.

  2. Search using your device for the product (only required on the first connection) Open the Bluetooth®settings on your device and wait until the list of found Bluetooth® devices shows Hama BT-Sensex.
    Select Hama BT-Senrex and wait until the product is listed as connected in your device’sBluetooth®settings.
    Note – Bluetooth® password
    Some devices require a password in order to connect to another Bluetooth®device.
    • Enter the password 0000 to connect the headphones if your device prompts you to enter one.

  3. Multi-point technology
    This product can connect to two Bluetooth®
    -enabled audio devices simultaneously (multi-point). The product automatically names the two devices A and B and establishes a connection.
    • First connect the first device to your product.
    • Put your product in Bluetooth®pairing mode by pressing the FB button (2) twice.
    • Then connect the Bluetooth®function on the second device.
    • Then connect the second device to your product.

7.2 TX transmitter mode

You can connect this product to other Bluetooth®devices via Bluetooth®and transfer audio content to them. This means that many speakers and headphones can be used in combination with this product. When used as a transmitter, up to 4 receivers can be stored and the audio signal can be sent simultaneously to 2 Bluetooth ®  devices.

  1. Connection to the device
    To connect to your chosen device, connect it using the 3.5 mm AUX cable and the audio input (4) on the product. Switch on the Bluetooth®device you want to connect to the product.
    Please refer to the operating instructions of your device for more information. Connection now takes place automatically.

    • If the LED (3) lights up blue: the product is already paired with a Bluetooth ® device.
    Note
    • If necessary, you may need to carry out a setting on the device in order to allow automatic connection to the paired product.

  2. Multi-point technology
    This product can connect to two Bluetooth®-enabled audio devices simultaneously (multi-point).
    • First connect the first device to your product.
    • Put your product in Bluetooth®pairing mode by pressing the MFB button (2) twice.
    • Put your second audio device in pairing mode and follow the device’s operating instructions.
    • Connection now takes place automatically.

7.3 Deleting the pairing list
Switch the product off in its current mode. After around 3 seconds, move the switch (1) to the other mode and switch the product back on. This will delete all paired devices from the list.
