USB-C Audio Adapter
Congratulations on your purchase of the Andrea USB-C AUDIO ADAPTER!
Andrea’s USB-C AUDIO ADAPTER is a high fidelity external sound card device
with microphone input and stereo output.
The USB-C AUDIO ADAPTER is a Universal Audio Adapter that will allow you to
connect to your computers USB-C port.
You can connect both Computer Headsets with pink and green plugs as well as
Mobile Computer Headsets with a single black to the color coded
jacks on the Adapter.
You can also connect a TRRS (4 pin plug)
Microphone such as the Andrea SG-110M to the black jack as well as a TRS (3
pin plug) Microphone such as the NC-8 to the pink jack.
You can also connect external stereo speakers to the green jack on the
adapter.
The USB-C AUDIO ADAPTER can also plug into any standard USB-A ports with the
included adapter.
CONNECTING YOUR USB-C AUDIO ADAPTER TO YOUR COMPUTER
- Plug USB connector into USB-C port on your computer. To connect to a USB-A port use the included adapter.
- Connect your headset, headphone or microphone to the color coded jack(s) on the USB-C AUDIO ADAPTER.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you encounter the following problems:
No sound from headset ear phone while audio plays from computer.
A. Check all connections making sure the color coded jacks are correctly
installed.
B. Check that the correct audio device is selected in the PCs control panel.
C. Check output volume level adjustment in software and on the headset cable
module.
If you encounter the following problems:
Microphone does not record sound when using a voice-recording application.
A. Check all connections.
B. Bring the microphone closer to your mouth.
C. Check input control for proper level in software.
D. Check that microphone is not muted on the headsets cable module or in the
PCs microphone audio panel.
