This text is a translation of the original instructions in Polish
Thank you for purchasing our product. We are confident that you will be
satisfied with its operation. Prior to using the device, please read carefully
the following instructions to avoid any possible problems.
DESIGNATION AND PROPERTIES. ULTRA SLIM lamps are versatile lighting
devices designed for use with fresh- water or salt-water open aquariums
(aquariums without a lid). Attached to the edges of the tank’s side glass or
suspended above the aquarium with dedicated slings, they are an elegant
alternative to the classic aquarium cover. By using them, you will create a
unique decorative effect combined with health advantages (an open aquarium
moisturizes the air and improves the microclimate in the room). They are ideal
for plant aquariums, reef tanks, and natural aquariums. The lamps are easy to
install (they have functional, extendable supports and an easy-to-install
sling system), they can be used with tanks of various sizes, including custom-
size aquariums.
Thanks to the expertly chosen light spectrum, they are perfect for aquatic
plants and corals. Last but not least, they are energy-efficient and durable.
UI TRA SI IM lamps are available in three lengths – 30.60.90 cm.
The ULTRA SLIM lamp is controlled in two ways
Manual control : The ULTRA SLIM lamp operates in four modes:
SUNNY/DAYBREAK/PLANT/MARINE. SUNNY is the primary and most powerful light, for
illuminating the aquarium during the day. DAYBREAK is a reduced daylight
output to 50% plus blue light. It works well as the first mode after night and
when feeding fish – especially if you have a shy cast. PLANT is a mode adapted
with light parameters to typical plant tanks. MARINE mode is used in marine
aquariums. Changing the SUNNY/DAYBREAK/PLANT/MARINE mode is done by pressing
the button which is located on the side housing of the amn.
Restoring the factory settings of ULTRA SLIM lamp
To restore the factory settings of the ULTRA SLIM lamp, press and hold the
button located on the side of the lamp while inserting the power supply plug
into the socket.
Control via app
The ULTRA SLIM lamp can be controlled using the built-in Bluetooth controller
and the dedicated AQUAEL BT app. Search and install the AQUAEL BT AQUA EL’BT
app in the Google Play store Coco Pay (Android system) (Google Play and the
Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.) or App Store (iOS system)
(Apple and Apple logo are trademarks of Apple Inc., App Store is a service
mark of Apple Inc.).
Download and install the AQUAEL BT app. With the help of the AQUAEL BT
application, you can change the color temperature and light intensity to your
liking, create and modify the lighting schedule taking into account sunrises
and sunsets. Details on the functionality and control of the ULTRA SLIM lamp

Thanks to the use of modern LEDs in ULTRA SLIM lamps, with a high luminous
efficiency of >130 Im/W, they emit much more light than traditional
fluorescent lamps while consuming approximately 50% less energy. Unlike
fluorescent lamps, they do not require frequent replacement. The expected
service life of LED lamps can reach 50 thousand hours.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE USE
This device has been manufactured in accordance with cur- rent EU safety
standards. To ensure long-term and safe use of the device, please read the
following conditions for safe use.
- Caution! Please read carefully before use. Keep this document for future reference. Before installing and before every use of the device, please consult these assembly and use instructions (fig. A).
- The device is suitable only for indoors use and only for its intended purpose (fig. B).
- The device can only be powered via the supplied power supply unit. The unit’s power supply can be connected to the mains only if the local supply voltage is as specified on the power supply’s rating label.
- If the external hose or cord of the light fitting is damaged, it may not be replaced; the fitting must be destroyed. (fig. C).
- WARNING! Before opening the light fitting for maintenance, disconnect the device from the power source. Before putting your hand in the water, always unplug all the devices inside the container from their power source (fig. D).
- This device may be used by children at least 8 years of age, by persons with physical or intellectual disabilities, and by persons with no experience or knowledge about the device if they are provided supervision or guidance for the safe use of the device so that they understand the related hazards. Children must not play with the device. Children must not clean or maintain the device without supervision (fig. E).
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. The entire luminaire must be replaced on reaching the end of its life.
- The minimum distance from the water surface is 15 mm (fig. F).

- Each specimen of the device is additionally assigned an individual serial number, which can be determined using the device control application.
INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
The ULTRA SLIM lamp is complete and ready to use. The ULTRA SLIM lamp can be
mounted in two ways
Fig. 1 Mounting with a set of hooks and feet, which must be inserted on
both sides into the dedicated holes. The legs should be inserted until the
appropriate length is adjusted so that the lamp rests securely with the hooks
on the side edges of the aquarium. In addition, we can adjust the height of
the lamp above the aquarium by unscrewing the nuts on the legs of the lamp.
After adjusting the position of the lamp, we tighten the nuts until the first
resistance.

conveniently suspended above the aquarium with convenient and discreet steel
cables. This is done by means of holes on the side edges of the lamp, into
which the thickened ends of the steel cables should be inserted. The cable has
a convenient clip, with which it can be suspended from the ceiling or
overhang.
NOTE! The ULTRA SLIM lamps are equipped with an inbuilt self-repair
system in case a single LED fails (which may happen occasionally). In the
SUNNY version, if a diode stops working, its functions are taken over by the
neighboring diodes, which START EMITTING LIGHT WITH AN INCREASED POWER. Thanks
to this, even in the case of failure of a single LED, the lamp continues to
operate properly, and the light power and parameters remain unchanged.
DISASSEMBLY AND DISPOSAL. I It is forbidden to dispose of used electric and electrical equipment in a trash bin. Segregating and proper utilization of this kind of waste leads to conserving the resources of natural environment The user is responsible for delivering the used product to a specialized collection point where it will be accepted free of charge. You can obtain information about such a facility at the local authorities at the product seller.
GUARANTEE CONDITIONS. The manufacturer grants a 24 month guarantee beginning on the date of purchase. The guarantee covers defects arising from manufacturer fault i.e. defective materials or assembly errors. It does not cover damage due to user’s fault caused by improper handling of the device or using the device for purposes discordant its destination. Attention: any modification or disassembly attempt exceeding normal usage and maintenance cause the guarantee void. In case of noticing improper operation of the device send it with filled out warranty card to the distributor address. The conformity of the production date stamped on the product and written in the guarantee card is a prerequisite for accepting the guarantee. The following warranty conditions do not exclude, limit or suspend user’s rights derived from discrepancy of the merchandise with the agreement. The guarantee is limited to repair or replacement of the unit only and does not cover consequential loss or damage to animate or inanimate objects.
