A WARNING:

  •  Pour-over can become extremely hot during use. Do not touch the steel body when hot.
  • Always ensure the handle is cool before grasping. Handling pour-over when hot can lead to scalds and burns.
  • Do not overfill with hot liquids. Overfilling can lead to spills, scalding, and burning.
  • When filled with hot liquid, keep out of reach of children. Hot liquids can cause scalding.
  • Do not drink directly from the pour-over. This item was not designed for drinking directly from the opening. Hot liquids can cause scalding.
  • Always allow the unit to cool before cleaning or handling. Use care when removing the stainless steel filter as the remaining coffee grounds may still be warm. Handling pour-over when hot can lead to burns and scalding.
  • Only use pour-over with cups or bottles which are intended for hot beverages. Failure to do so can lead to spills, scalding, and burning.

 CAUTION

  • Not for use with microwave ovens, conventional ovens, or stovetop burners. Doing so can damage appliances, pour-over, and/or injure users.

Care & Use

Making great pour-over coffee takes practice. Here are some tips:

HEAT WATE

Bring water to a boil. Allow water to cool for 30 seconds before pouring into the pour-over.

ADD GRINDS

Add medium ground coffee into pour-over. The recommended brew ratio is 16 grams of water per 1 gram of grounds. Or 1 tablespoon grounds per 4oz of coffee brewed. Note the interior markings equate to 80z/.24L, 120z/.35L, 160z/47L, and 20oz/.59L for measurement guidance.

PLACE

The pour-over on top of your Stanley Mug or Bottle.
BLOOM

In a circular motion, wet the grounds with a half cup (118 grams) of hot water and watch them rise. Let sit for 30 seconds.

POUR

Starting in the center and moving outward, pour in the remaining hot water in that circular motion. Allow the water to drain through the grinds.

SERVE AND ENJOY

After 3-4 minutes.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

If the pour-over brews too fast (less than 3-4 minutes) use a finer coffee grind. If the pour-over brews too slow (more than 3-4 minutes), stir the liquid/grounds in the brew basket to rapidly drain coffee from the pour-over. The filter is removable for easy cleaning. Ensure it is tightened and properly seated before brewing.

Dishwashing instructions

Dishwasher safe.

  • Do not wash in commercial-strength appliances or on high-heat settings. Do not use dishwashing detergents that contain high levels of chlorine or bromide. Dishwashing may age the appearance of your item faster than hand washing. If preserving the finish of any paint and artwork on your item is important to you, we recommend hand washing.

Hand wash instructions

  • Do not scour Ceramivac™’s finish with steel wool or other highly abrasive cleaning pad or brush.
  • To remove stubborn stains soak overnight with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Remove the lid during soak to ensure pressure does not build up. Stanley has stood the test of time because it’s built to. That’s the Stanley Promise. But nobody’s perfect. If your Stanley doesn’t live up to its legendary reputation, we’ll make it right. That means we’ll fix it, supply replacement parts, or replace it. If you have any questions regarding this or any other Stanley® product, please email our customer service department at [email protected] or, in North America, call 1-800-251-4535. Please note: do not return the product to the retailer.
