Product Usage Instructions

OVERVIEW

INTERFACE

Initialization

Place a 1 litre container under both outlets (coffee and steam). To set up your machine, an auto-rinse cycle will be carried out. Press Start/Stop to start it. Water will flow through both outlets several times for 4 minutes.

1. Plug in the machine.
2. Press the ON/OFF button.
3. EN Fill the water tank up to the maximum.
4. Place a 1 litre container under both outlets (coffee and steam)
5. To set up your machine, an auto-rinse cycle will be carried out. Press Start/Stop to start it.
6. EN Water will flow through the both outlets several times for 4 minutes ( hot nozzles).
7. A triple beep will sound when the water flow has stopped to indicate that your machine is ready

Beverages Settings

To adjust the intensity and volume of your beverages:

1. Press the Adjust the Intensity button to select the desired intensity.
2. Press the Adjust the Volume button to select the desired volume.

Save Your Favorite Settings

To save your favorite beverage settings:

1. Press the Start/Save 2 Favourites button.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to save your settings.

1. Before or after the personalised recipe, press and hold the “Favourites” button for 2 seconds. The “A” and “B” indicator lights will come on.
2. EN The flashing indicates the recording position. To change the position, press the “Favourites” button once. Once the position (A or B) has been set, the recording will start after approximately 3 seconds.

Start a Favorite Beverage
To start preparing a favorite beverage:

1. Press the Start/Save 2 Favourites button.
2. Select the desired beverage from the saved favorites.

Make a Milk Recipe

To prepare a beverage with milk:

Follow the instructions for starting a favorite beverage.
Add milk to the designated area.

1. Fill 1/3 of your cup with milk.
2. Press the “Steam” button, then press the “Start/Stop” button.
3. The machine will preheat until the “Start/Stop” light begins to flash.
4. Place the nozzle into your cup.
5. Press the “Start/Stop” button to release the steam from the nozzle. Gradually froth the milk, making sure to keep the steam nozzle in the milk rather than the froth.
6. You can press the “Start/Stop” button again to stop the steam during the recipe. It will take a few seconds to completely stop.

Clean the Steam Nozzle

To clean the steam nozzle:

1. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on cleaning the steam nozzle.

Rinse the Machine
To rinse the machine:

1. Press the Rinse the Machine button.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the rinse cycle.

Refilling the Water Tank
To refill the water tank:

1. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on refilling the water tank.

RINSE THE MACHINE (1 MIN 30)

Clean the Machine **

To clean the machine:
Press the Clean the Machine button. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cleaning process.

1. The “CLEAN” indicator light will turn red when the machine needs to be cleaned.
2. Press the “Clean Mode” button to select “CLEAN”.
3. Press the “Start/Stop” button to confirm the cleaning process. The “CLEAN” light will start to flash.
4. Take a cleaning tablet (KRUPS XS3000).
5. Open the cleaning tablet hatch.
6. Insert the tablet.
7. Place a 1 litre container under both nozzles.
8. Press the “Start/Stop” button for a second time to start the cleaning process.
9. Water will run out of the coffee nozzles during the cleaning process.
10. When the water has stopped flowing and after you hear three beeps, your machine is cleaned and ready for use.

Descale the Machine

To descale the machine:

1. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on descaling the machine.

PREPARATION (≈5 MIN)

1. The “CALC” indicator light will turn red when the machine needs to be descaled.

2. Press the “Clean Mode” button to select “CALC”.

3. Press the “Start/Stop” button to confirm the machine descaling process. The “CALC” light will start to flash.

4. Fill the water tank with hot water up to the CALC mark. ( if your product is equipped with our Claris filter cartridge, remove it)

5. Open a sachet of KRUPS descaler and empty it into the water tank.

6. Mix the sachet contents with the water in the tank.

7. Put the water tank back in place on the machine.

8. Place a 1.5 litre container under both nozzles.

9. Press the “Start/Stop” button to start the descaling process.

10. Water will run out of both nozzles during the descaling process.

11. The CALC light will flash when the water flow has stopped.
    RINSING (≈10 MIN)
    

12. Remove the descaler from the water tank.

13. Clean the water tank using a sponge.

14. Wipe and dry the water tank.
    
    

15. Fill the water tank up to the maximum.

16. Put the water tank back in place on the machine.

17. Press the “Start/Stop” button to start the rinsing process.

18. Water will run out of the coffee nozzles during the rinsing process.

19. When the water has stopped flowing and after you hear three beeps, your machine is descaled and ready for use
