INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing this Luvion sonic kids toothbrush. Make sure you always keep your original proof of purchase. For warranty cases you will always be asked to show a copy of your proof of purchase. For warranty claims you can contact the Luvion dealer or the local Luvion representative. More information can be found at www.luvion.com This manual contains all the information you need to be able to use this Luvion sonic kids toothbrush safely and with pleasure. Before using the toothbrush, we recommend that you read this manual carefully. We ask for your extra attention for the safety instructions.

PRECAUTIONS

• Please read the instruction carefully before use;
• If you do not understand the instructionsfor use or precautions listed in this manual, do not use the device. Incorrect use of the device may damage it;
• This appliance is not intended for use by children under 4 years of age;
• For children from 4 to 6 years old, use only the soft setting, the other settings can be used from 6 years old;
• Adult supervision is required at all times;
• Children (4y+) should be supervised while using the device;
• Store out of reach of children;
• This device is not a toy. Children should not play with this appliance;
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children;
• Adult assembly is required;
• Keep small parts out of reach of children;
• The toothbrush can be used by children and people with little experience as long they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety;
• Toothbrushe s can be used by children and persons with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or have been given instructions concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and nderstand  the hazards involved;
• It is normal for a new user to experience slight gum bleeding or discomfort during the first week of use. If bleeding gums or discomfort persists after 1 week of use, consult your dentist before further use.
• If you have had mouth or gum surgery / had a dental prosthesis implanted in the past 2 months, please consult your dentist before use.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Please note the following precautions before usage. Failure to comply may be dangerous.

• Do not soak the product in water for a long period of time;
• Do not open, repair, or alter the product without authorization;
• Do not expose the product to high temperatures or direct sunlight;
• Do not alter the product in any way other than a brush head change;
• Fully charge the product before rst use;
• Do not charge the device in the bathroom or above or near water;
• Stop using the device if it’s clearly damaged;
• Only use the product with the original Luvion brush heads;
• Only use the original Luvion USB charging cables;
• Do not expose the toothbrush to certain substances (such as gel, oil, soap) for a long time to prevent corrosion;
• Do not replace the battery of the device yourself;
• It is normal for the toothbrush to become a little warm during charging. However, stop charging immediately if the toothbrush becomes extremely hot.

CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS

Fully charge the toothbrush before first use. Charge the toothbrush immediately when the charging indicator light flashes, indicating that the battery is insufficient. The charging indicator may not work immediately if the device has not been used for a long time. It may take 6-10 minutes for it to start working.

1. Plug the charging cable connector into the toothbrush. Then plug the USB connector into a 5V USB port or charger;
2. When charging, the indicator flashes, when charging is complete, the indicator lights up constantly;
3. It takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge the toothbrush;
4. A fully charged toothbrush can last up to 60 days (with 4 minutes of brushing per day).

Important: Only use 5V USB chargers

HOW TO USE

1. Fully charge the toothbrush before first use;

2. Wet the brush and apply the appropriate amount of toothpaste;

3. Press on the on/off-button;

4. If you press the on/off button again within 3 seconds, you can change the mode, choose between soft mode, massage mode and cleaning mode, for children aged 4 to 6, only use the soft mode. If you press the on/off button again after 3 seconds, you switch off the toothbrush;

5. Divide the teeth into up, down, left and right sections. See image below ( Fig. 2).
   This toothbrush is equipped with a 2-minute-total timer and 30-second pulse reminders that signals when it’s time to move on to the next quadrant of the mouth;

6. Place toothbrush against teeth at a slight angle towards the gum line;

7. Gently move the brush head across the teeth and gums with small up and down movements;

8. Move to the next section when the brush signals (pulses), (every 30 seconds) until all four sections of the mouth have been brushed;

9. The toothbrush will power off automatically after 2 minutes and 5 seconds. If you wish to proceed brushing, simply press the power button again to continue.

ClEANING THE TOOTHBRUSH

1. Rinse bristles after each brush to remove residue and allow to air dry;
2. Do not pull the bristles to avoid distortion.
3. Do not clean the toothbrush with water hotter than 40°C or a corrosive detergent;
4. After every brushing, remove the (toothpaste) residues on the handle and dry with a soft cloth.

CHANGING THE BRUSH HEAD

Step 1: Detach the brush head counter-clockwise ( g. 3) and pull upward.
Step 2: To attach: align the new brush head and turn it clockwise ( g. 4).
Please note: The notch on the neck should align with the inner notches of the brush head in order to lock in place.

SPECIFICATIONS

This product may not be discarded as normal household waste at the end of its life span. You must bring it to a collection point for recycling of elec tric and electronic devices.
