Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.   • Only use this product for its intended use.
  • This product is not a toy and should not be used by children.
  • Do not short circuit the output terminals.
  • Do not attempt to open the enclosure. Risk of electric shock!
  • Disconnect from the mains when not in use.
  • Always switch off the device before you connect/disconnect the product.
  • Do not cover the product during use. The product may get hot during use.
  • The socket-outlet shall be installed near the device and shall be easily accessible.
  • This product is classified as protection class II. This means the product is equipped with reinforced or double insulation between the mains supply circuit and the output voltage or the casing. Therefore it does not require a safety connection to an electrical earth (ground).
  • Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the product should be scrapped.
  • Do not use this product with a device requiring more than the rated current of the power supply.
  • Before connecting, verify the correct voltage of the device to be connected. Incorrect voltage setting may damage the connected device.

Intended Use

  • This product is intended to be used as a power supply for office equipment only.
  • This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
  • This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
  • No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non- compliance with these instructions.

Before First Use

  • Check for transport damages.

DANGER Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Operation

Choosing the polarity

  • Choose the appropriate connector tip.
  • Choose the correct polarity for the external device.

Negative polarity

For external device with negative polarity, plug the connector tip in such a manner that the – symbol is aligned with the TIP marking on the product’s plug.

Positive polarity

For external device with positive polarity, plug the connector tip in such a manner that the + symbol is aligned with the TIP marking on the product’s plug.

  • Insert the connector into the external device’s power input socket.

Setting the voltage

  • Determine the correct input voltage setting of the external device.
  • Slide the voltage selector to the desired voltage setting.

NOTICE

Use a pen or another pointy object to slide the voltage selector.

  • The available voltage settings are:
  • Plug the power supply into the power socket. The LED indicator lights up green.
  • Switch on your external device.

NOTICE Aways switch off the external device before connecting/disconnecting the power supply from the power socket. Cleaning and Maintenance

WARNING Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug before cleaning.

WARNING Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.

Cleaning

  • To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
  • Dry the product after cleaning.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Maintenance

  • Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets, ideally in original packaging.
  • Avoid any vibrations and shocks.
