LASER RADIATION AVOID DIRECT EYE EXPOSURE CLASS 2 LASER PRODUCT

  • The laser beam (also the one that is reflected from another surface) is dangerous for the eyes of people and animals.

  • Improper use can lead to permanent damage of the eyesight! Do not disassemble the laser device!

  • Do not stare into the laser beam or direct it towards other people. Eye protection is normally afforded by aversion responses including the blink reflex.

  • According to IEC 60825-1 :2014, laser pointer was classified as a class 2 laser device. That is, a laser that emits visible radiation in the wavelength range of 400 nm to 700 nm is safe for momentary exposure, but can be dangerous when intentional gazing into the beam.

  • This device produces a visible red laser beam which is emitted from the front of the housing.

  • Blinding by laser beam can indirectly lead to serious accidents, especially for people who are driving a vehicle or operating machinery.

  • When operating the laser device, always make sure that the laser beam is directed so that no one is in the projection area and that unintentionally reflected beams (for example, from reflective objects) cannot be directed into areas where people are present.

  • Laser beam can be dangerous, if the laser beam or its reflection enters unprotected eyes. Always familiarize yourself with statutory regulations and operating instructions before using laser device.

  • If laser beam enters your eyes, close your eyes immediately and move your head away from the beam.

  • If your eyes have been irritated by laser radiation, do not continue to carry out tasks with safety implications, such as working with machines, working from great heights or close to high voltage. Also, do not operate any vehicles until the irritation has completely subsided.

  • Never aim a laser beam at the sun or at any aircraft, helicopter or drone. The laser beam can distract or flashblind pilots. The laser beam continues to travel even if the light is no longer visible.

CAUTION
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
