Information About the Operating Instructions
Before using the product for the first time, please read through these operating instructions carefully and keep them for future reference and other users. They form an integral part of the product. The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information in these operating instructions is not complied with.

INTENDED USE

  • The product is intended to be used for grating food, such as citrus fruit, nutmeg, Parmesan, cinnamon, chocolate, ginger, etc.
  • It is not suitable for frozen food.
  • All accessories are unsuitable for use in the microwave, oven, or freezer compartment!
  • The product is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
  • Use the product only for the specifi ed purpose and as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

SAFETY NOTICES

WARNING – Danger of Injury

  • Keep the packaging material away from children and animals. There is a danger of suffocation.
  •  The cutting edges are sharp. Be careful when using and cleaning them! There is a danger of cuts. Always use the finger guard with small food.
  • Store the product only out of the reach of children and animals. Improper use can lead to injuries.
  • Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
  • There may still be some production residues on the product. You should therefore clean it thoroughly before you first use it (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

  • Protect the product from heat sources, flames, sub-zero temperatures, persistent moisture, direct sunlight, and impacts.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the product.
  • Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no interference that may prevent the product from working and to avoid possible damage.
  • Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the product. These may damage the surfaces.

USE

  • Select the grater that is most suitable for the particular food and guide the food over the grater by pushing it back and forth.
  • If the food is very small, attach the finger guard to protect against injury. The large part with the hole is simply pressed onto the grater. The food can then be inserted into it. Then use the small part of the finger guard to press on the food and grate it.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

Clean all used accessories after each use to prevent the formation of germs.

  • Remove possible food residues from the product.
  • Clean the used accessories with detergent and warm water. Although they can be cleaned in the dishwasher, frequent cleaning in the dishwasher may impair the sharpness of the cutting edges. It is therefore recommended that they are rinsed by hand.
  • Allow all parts to dry completely or dry them with a tea towel before storing them away.
  • Store the graters in their sleeves in a cool and dry place protected from dust and direct sunlight out of the reach of children and animals.
