Information About the Operating Instructions
Before using the product for the first time, please read through these operating instructions carefully and keep them for future reference and other users. They form an integral part of the product. The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information in these operating instructions is not complied with.

INTENDED USE

This product is only intended to be used for decoration indoors and outdoors.
The product is not a toy!
The product is designed for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
The product should only be used as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

WARNING – Danger of Injury

Keep the packaging material away from children and animals!There is a danger of suffocation.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. The batteries and the product should be kept out of the reach of children and animals. There is a danger of burns from battery acid! If a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.
If battery leaks, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. There is a danger of burns from battery acid! If you do touch battery acid, rinse the affected areas with abundant clear water straight away and seek medical assistance immediately.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

Do not cover the product when it is in use.
Use only the battery type specified in the technical data.
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.
Take the batteries out of the product when they are dead or if you will not be using the product for a prolonged period. This will prevent any damage caused by leaks.
Protect the product from heat, flames, direct sunlight, sub-zero temperatures, persistent moisture and collisions.
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids! It is only splashproof.
In extreme weather conditions (e.g. storm, hail) or if the product is not used for an extensive period of time, switch it off and store it in a dry place.
In the event of damage/faults, switch the product off immediately. Do not use the product if it is damaged.
Do not make any modifications to the product. Do not attempt to repair it yourself or to replace any individual parts. In the event of any damage, contact the customer service department. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Never use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents. These may damage the surface.
When it is not in use, store the product in a dry, clean place which is out of the reach of children and animals.

ITEMS SUPPLIED

1 x remote control
1 x operating instructions

Check the product for transport damage. If you find any damage, do not use the product but contact our customer service department. Remove any films, stickers or transport protection from the product. Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!

PUTTING INTO OPERATION

Candle

Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the candle: turn the cover anticlockwise a little and take it off.
Insert two batteries (1.5 V, AA ). Pay attention to the polarity (+ / –).
Slide the switch next to the battery compartment to the ON position to switch on the candle.
Put the cover back on and turn it clockwise to secure it in place. When you do this, make sure that the locking lugs sit in the recesses which are provided for them.
Open the cover again and slide the switch to the OFF position to switch the candle off again.

If the performance of the candles diminishes, the batteries should be replaced.

Remote Control

Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the remote control.
If necessary, remove the used battery and insert a new 3 V button cell (CR2025 type). Pay attention to the correct polarity (+ / –).
Shut the battery compartment again.

The candles can be switched on and off using the remote control.

Press the ON button on the remote control to switch on the candles.
Press the OFF button on the remote control to switch off the candles.

DISPOSAL

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that it can be recycled.
Batteries should be removed before disposing of the product and disposed of separately from the product at suitable collection points.
This product is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of the product as normal domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an officially approved waste disposal company.
