Product Usage Instructions
Cleaning & Storage
We recommend cleaning the shovel of your new pizza peel with a little warm water and washing-up liquid and then dry it thoroughly. If necessary, wipe the wooden handle with a damp cloth. The pizza peel can either be hung up using the practical hole in the handle or divided into two using the plug-in mechanism and stowed away to save space. The pizza peel is not suitable for the dishwasher.
Use
Caution: Only use your pizza peel to pick up, push and put down food. It is not suitable for serving or for long-term exposure of the material to food.
- Insert the end piece into the front until the plastic button clicks into place and both components are firmly connected.
- You can either top your pizza beforehand or do so right on the peel. Sprinkle the shovel with some flour or durum wheat semolina and place your unbaked pizza on it. The serrated edge along the front of the peel makes it easier for you to pick up the pizza.
- Now let’s pop that pizza into the oven. Thanks to the vertical braces, your pizza simply glides from the peel into the oven.
- If you want to take your pizza peel apart after you’re done, press the plastic button, disengage the plug-in mechanism and loosen until the two parts separate.
