WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
DISPLAY
If the lock function is on, the display holds the last temperature measurement.
The flame turns on by temperatures above 50 °C/122 °F.
BEFORE YOU START
JUICE IT UP!
Plug the USB cable into the port on the side of your thermometer and charge it
fully before using it for the first time.
The battery symbol blinks while charging. Depending on the strength of your power supply unit, this takes about 1.5 – 6.5 hours. You can start once it stops!
GET READY
Simply unfold the probe and your thermometer is ready to go! The display turns on automatically – and off again after 30 seconds of inactivity. It’s magic, baby!
CELSIUS OR FAHRENHEIT?
You decide! Hold for 3 seconds and switch between °C and °F.
GOOD POINT!
Forget about huge holes in your steak: the ultra-thin probe is very precise
and shows you the temperature to one decimal point in just 1 – 2 seconds.
DO IT RIGHT
Insert the probe at the thickest point into the middle of your meat. Not too
close to the bone as meat heats up faster along the bone and the core
temperature might be inaccurate.
HOLD IT!
Stay cool! You don’t need to hover over the grill grid to read the
temperature.
Press while measuring and your thermometer holds the result.
This way you can chill and check it out later.
STAY CLEAN
Get your thermometer ready for the next round and clean it after each use.
- Grab a cotton cloth and wet it with warm soapy water.
- Wipe the probe and thermometer thoroughly with it.
- Dry off with a soft cloth.
EXTRA TIP
Poking around? If you’re grilling various meats, be sure to keep your probe
clean between readings.
IF THERE’S A PROBLEM
Display: Error messages on your display:
It’s freezing in here!
The temperature is below -50 °C (-58 °F). –› Turn up the heat.
What
the hell!
The temperature is above 300 °C (572 °F).
–› Take the thermometer out and lower the heat!
Uh oh, there’s something wrong with the probe.
–› If it stays that way, please contact our customer service.
