Installation safety considerations

Please remember that these are heavy products that will be installed on an ATV, UTV, or a boat. These vehicles can travel at high speeds and be unstable, so please keep this in mind and use extreme caution.

  •  When installed on a boat, do not mount the speaker in a location where someone could either walk into it or strike their head. During a turbulent ride, please make sure that you do not lose footing and fall or hit the unit as it may cause injury.
  • For boat installations, secure the wires to the speaker in multiple locations along the route to the audio source so there are no hanging wires. Having nontenure wires, especially in low light conditions, can cause entanglement and injury.
  • Make sure to use the included rubber inserts when securing the speaker to the wake tower. Do not overtighten the clamp. After installation is complete, and before operating your vehicle or vessel, please check all bolts to ensure they are completely tightened.
  • Do not install these speakers where they may block the view of the operator or prevent safe operation of your vehicle or vessel.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
No power 1. Check the wiring harness. Make sure that the wire-to-wire male

and female connectors are not damaged and that they are properly connected.
2. Check the power, ground, and ACC connections. Make sure that the wires are not damaged and that they are properly connected.
3. Check the fuse. Be sure to replace a blown fuse with one of the same type and amperage.
No sound| 1. Check your input source (AUX or Bluetooth). Make sure it is powered on and the volume is up.
2. If there is no audio from the right speaker, check the speaker cables. Make sure they are not damaged and that they are properly inserted into the corresponding push terminal. Please note, the grey cable is positive (+) and the black cable is negative (-). Observe proper polarity.
3. If using the AUX input, make sure the interconnect cable (3.5mm to 3.5mm or 3.5mm to UR RCA) cable is properly connected and in good working order.
4. If using Bluetooth, refer to the Bluetooth section below.
No sound from an amplifier or subwoofer connected to the RCA outputs.| 1. Make sure the RCA cables you are using are in good working order.
2. Make sure the RCA cables are properly connected to the speaker’s RCA outputs and the corresponding inputs on the subwoofer or amp.
3. When connecting to an amplifier, make sure that the blue remote cable is connected to the amplifier’s remote terminal.
No Bluetooth connection| 1. Make sure the input device is turned on and discoverable.
Make sure you have selected PT65BR from your input devices list of available Bluetooth devices.
3. Make sure that the input device is within a 33 foot radius of the speaker.
4. Make sure that the unit is not paired to a previously paired device. If so, disconnect the PT65BR from the previously paired device via that device’s Bluetooth settings section.
5. Turn the input device off and then back on.
LEDs are not working| 1. Check your power, ground, and ACC connections. Refer to the No power section above.
2. Check that the LEDs are turned on by pressing the power button on the remote. If the remote is not responding, make sure you’ve removed the battery tab from the battery compartment and/or replace the battery if necessary.
3. If the right speaker’s LEDs are not working, check the LED interconnect cable (page 4, item 1). Make sure that it is not damaged and that it is properly connected.
