Nilight 90005B Momentary Laser Rocker Switch

Product Information

Rocker switches are commonly used in automotive, marine, and industrial applications to control various electrical devices. A momentary rocker switch means that it only maintains its “on” or “off” state for as long as it is pressed or actuated. Once the pressure is released, the switch returns to its original state.
Nilight is a brand known for producing various automotive and lighting accessories, including switches. Their products often include LED indicators and laser-etched labels for easy identification.

Using Instructions

  1. Determine Functionality:
    • Before installation, determine the purpose or function of the rocker switch. Momentary switches are typically used for temporary actions.
  2. Power Off:
    • Ensure that the power to the circuit where you plan to install the switch is turned off.
  3. Mounting:
    • Mount the rocker switch into the desired location on your dashboard, panel, or surface. Make sure it fits securely.
  4. Wiring:
    • Connect the wiring to the appropriate terminals on the back of the switch. Momentary rocker switches typically have three terminals: power, ground, and the signal wire. The specific terminals may be labeled or color-coded.
  5. Power Connection:
    • Connect the power wire to a suitable power source. The ground wire should be connected to a ground point, and the signal wire may be connected to the device or circuit you want to control.
  6. Testing:
    • Turn on the power to the circuit and test the rocker switch. Press the switch to see if it activates the connected device or circuit temporarily.
  7. Secure Wiring:
    • Once you’ve confirmed proper operation, secure the wiring to prevent any interference or damage.
  8. Read the Manual:
    • Check the product manual or any included documentation for specific details related to the Nilight 90005B model. The manual may provide additional information or tips for installation and use.
