INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Read instructions and view illustrations before beginning.
- SuperATV does not recommend keeping a Windshield installed while transporting on an open-air trailer. Remove or secure with straps.
- This item is not returnable if the protective film has been removed.
- Test fit to the cage to confirm fitment before removing film.
- Do not discard packaging until the product has been successfully installed.
Windshield Cleaning
- Do not use Rain-X®, Plexus®, or any other protector, wax, or polish.
- Do not use window cleaning fluids (Windex, 409, etc) or any solvents (gasoline, denatured alcohol, acetone, etc).
- Never use abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, or gritty cloths.
- Do not use a windshield wiper blade or install a motorized windshield wiper
- Never use razor blades, scrapers, squeegees, brushes, etc.
- Thoroughly rinse the Windshield to float off dirt and mud.
- Using a soft cloth, or microfiber cloth, clean the Windshield with warm water and a gentle detergent. Baby shampoo, rubbing alcohol, or hand-washing soap can also be used.
- To prevent water spots, use a chamois to blot Windshield dry.
Open Tube Clamps and install Struts; tighten and set aside.
Install Tube Clamps, Hinges (K), and Hinge Support (B) to the Upper (A) with the hardware shown. Hardware should be snug but not tight.
Secure Middle (D) and Upper Support (C) with hardware shown. Hardware should be snug but not tight.
Secure Handle, Support, and Left Bracket (F) to Middle (D) with hardware shown. Tighten hardware.
To ease installation, soak the Seal in hot water before cutting or installing
to increase flexibility.
Install Seal to Lower (G) in the location shown.
Install Lower (G) to the machine with the Clamps and hardware shown. Hardware should be snug but not tight.
Install Catch, Console Bracket 1 (H), and Console Bracket 2 (J) to Lower (G) with hardware shown. Catch hardware should be snug but not tight. The remaining hardware should be tight.
Place the Upper/Middle assembly onto the machine and secure it to the Cage with Clamps and hardware shown. Hardware should be snug but not tight.
Engage the Handle to Catch and align the Windshield assembly to the machine.
Tighten all hardware.
Install Clamp/Strut assemblies to the Cage in the location shown. Secure with
previously removed Clamp hardware. Tighten hardware.
Place the Windshield in the open position and secure the Struts to the Brackets with the hardware shown. Tighten hardware.The windshield should open and close smoothly. Adjust the distance between Clamps if binding occurs.
OEM Roof notes: Install components shown into OEM Roof after securing to SuperATV Flip Windshield.
Secure OEM Roof to SuperATV Flip Windshield with components shown.
