- This tumble dryer complies with all current local and national safety requirements; however, inappropriate use could lead to personal injury and damage to property.
- Please read these user instructions carefully before using the tumble dryer. It contains important information on safety, use and maintenance. This prevents both personal injury and damage to the appliance.

The CE and UKCA marks on this product confirm compliance to all relevant UK
and European safety, health and environmental requirements which are

Caring for the environment
Disposal of the packing material
The packaging is designed to protect the appliance from damage during
transportation. The packaging materials should be recycled.
Recycling the packaging reduces the use of raw materials in the manufacturing
process and also reduces the mount of waste in landfill sites.
Disposing of your old appliance
Electrical and electronic appliances often contain valuable materials. They also contain specific materials, compounds and components, which were essential for their correct function and safety.
These could be hazardous to human health and to the environment if disposed of
with your domestic waste or if handled incorrectly. Please do not, therefore,
dispose of your old appliance with your household waste.

centre for electrical and electronic appliances, or contact your dealer for

Please read these instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible if an
incorrect installation and use causes injuries and/or damage. Always keep the
instructions with the tumble dryer for future reference.
Please take appropriate care when installing, maintaining, cleaning and
operating the tumble dryer.
Correct application
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments .
- The tumble dryer is not intended for outdoor use or commercial use.
- It must be used only as a domestic appliance to dry items which are specified by the manufacturer as being dryable on the wash care label. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting from incorrect or improper use or operation.
- The tumble dryer may be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are supervised whilst using it or have been shown how to use it safely and recognise and understand the consequences of incorrect operation.
WARNING: Misuse may create a fire hazard.
Safety with children
- Children under 3 years of age must be kept away from the tumble dryer unless they are constantly supervised.
- Children 8 years and older may only use the tumble dryer unsupervised if they have been shown how to use it safely and recognise and understand the consequences of incorrect operation.
- Children must not be allowed to clean or maintain the tumble dryer unsupervised.
- Please supervise children in the vicinity of the tumble dryer and do not let them play with it.
Technical safety

Please observe the instructions and “Technical data” in this guide.
Before installing the tumble dryer, check it for any externally visible damage. Do not install or use a damaged machine. -
Before connecting the tumble dryer, ensure that the connection data on the data plate (fuse rating, voltage and frequency) match the mains electricity supply. If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

Reliable and safe operation of this tumble dryer can only be assured if it has been connected to the mains electricity supply.

The electrical safety of this tumble dryer can only be guaranteed when correctly earthed. It is essential that this standard safety requirement
is met. If in any doubt, please have the wiring system of the building tested by a qualified electrician. LAMONA cannot be held liable for the consequences of an inadequate earthing system (e.g. electric shock). • Do not connect the tumble dryer to the mains electricity supply by a multi-socket adapter, extension lead or similar. These do not guarantee the required safety of the machine (fire hazard due to the risk of overheating). -
Faulty components must only be replaced by genuine LAMONA original spare parts. Only when these parts are fitted can LAMONA guarantee the safety standards of the machine.

The electrical socket must be easily accessible after installation so that the machine can be disconnected from the electricity supply if necessary.

The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a door with a hinge on the opposite side of the tumble dryer, in such a way that blocks the full opening of the tumble dryer door.

Unauthorised repairs could result in unforeseen dangers for the user, for which the manufacturer cannot accept liability. Repairs should only be undertaken by a LAMONA Service Engineer, otherwise any subsequent damage will not be covered by the warranty.

If the electrical connection cable is faulty it must only be replaced by a LAMONA Service Engineer to protect the user from danger.

Do not touch the appliance when hands or feet are wet.

Do not lean on the door when loading the machine or use the door to lift or move the appliance.

The machine must not be used in a non-stationary location (e.g. on a ship).
-
The machine must be isolated from the electricity supply when cleaning; during maintenance and in the event of a fault.

In areas which may be subject to infestation by cockroaches or other vermin, pay particular attention to keeping the machine and its surroundings in a clean condition at all times. Any damage which may be caused by cockroaches or other vermin will not be covered by the warranty.

The appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched and off by a utility..
Electrical connection
- Please ensure the plug is accessible after installation.
- Should you need to replace the plug; the wires are coloured as follows:
the terminal which is marked with the letter ‘E’ or symbol. If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
Correct use
- Do not install the tumble dryer in a room where there is a risk of frost. Frozen hoses may burst or split. The reliability of the electronic control unit may be impaired at temperatures below freezing point. Your product is designed to work at temperatures between 5-35°C,
- Lint and fluff must not be allowed to collect on the floor around the machine
- Take care to ensure that foreign objects (e.g. nails, pins, coins, paper clips) do not find their way into the machine with the laundry. These may damage components of the machine, it’s surroundings and the laundry.
- Observe maximum load limits for laundry. See the Programme chart for the maximum recommended loads for individual programmes.
- Machine cleaning must follow the manufacturer’s instructions. LAMONA cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from these treatments.
- Always remove the plug before cleaning the dryer.
Risk of fire and explosion
This dryer contains R290 (inflammable eco-sustainable refrigerating gas). Keep open flames and sources of ignition away from the appliance.
- Due to safety reasons, legislation forces a room of at least 1m3 per 8g of refrigerant for such equipment. For 110g, the minimum allowed room size would be 13.75m3
- Do not use solvent based cleaning agents, e.g. those containing benzine, in or on this machine, as this may result in damage to component parts and create toxic fumes. Such agents also pose a fire and explosion hazard.
- The dryer must have adequate ventilation; at least a 20mm gap must be maintained between the machine and any obstruction. The space between the bottom of the dryer and the floor must not be obstructed. Check regularly that airflow through the dryer is not restricted.
- Do not dry unwashed items.
- Laundry that has previously been, soiled or stained with petrol/gas, dry cleaning solvents or other inflammable/combustive substances must not be dried in the machine since they can emit inflammable/combustive vapour.
- Textiles which have been pre-treated in solvent based cleaning agents must be thoroughly rinsed in clean water before being dried in the machine.
- Laundry soiled with vegetable oil, alcohol, petrol, gas, oil, stain remover, turpentine, wax or wax remover must be washed with hot water and detergent before drying.
- Rubber, (latex) foam, shower caps, waterproof fabrics and rubber-reinforced / rubber-foam pillows and footwear are not suitable for drying in this appliance.
- Do not dry clothes soiled with industrial chemicals.
- Do no use the appliance if the fluff filter is not in position or is damaged. Fluff could be ignited.
- Fabric softeners, or similar products should be used as specified by the fabric softener instructions.
Accessories
Accessory parts may only be fitted when expressly approved by LAMONA. If other parts are used, warranty, performance and product liability claims will be invalidated.
Cautions when using the dryer

Do not use the machine to dry large laundry such as tulle, curtains, heavy blankets or rugs.
Your laundry may be damaged. -
Do not dry unwashed laundry in the machine.

Underwear with metal supports must not be dried loose in the machine. Metal supports might come off during the drying process and damage the machine. Place these garments in a bag or a pillowcase.

Do not us the machine to dry leather clothes or clothes that contain leather (such as leather labels on jeans). The colour of the leather parts might affect other fabrics
-
Do not overload the machine. Observe the maximum load levels stated for the drying programmes.

Do not let pets enter the product. Check inside the drum before using the appliance.

Cool Down: Do not touch the drum or door area with bare hands after drying, these surfaces may become hot. Temperature rise during operation may be in excess of 60°C.

Do not stop the machine before the drying programme is completed. If you have to do so, remove all laundry, place it in an appropriate place and wait for it to cool down. The dryer’s final stage is cooling. This keeps the laundry at a certain temperature to ensure that it is not damaged.
If the drying programmes are interrupted (due to programme cancellation or power failure), the laundry in the machine might be hot. Be careful.
It is essential that the filters, condenser grilles and water tank are regularly cleaned and emptied to ensure optimum drying performance.
If there is a problem you cannot solve by reading these instructions; switch off and unplug the machine and call the Authorised Service Agent.
LAMONA cannot be held liable for damage caused by non-compliance with these warning and safety instructions.

Instead of emptying the water tank, you can use a water drain hose (*Not Supplied) to directly drain outside.

Environmentally friendly and energy efficient drying

When in use ensure that the environment around the dryer is well ventilated.

Only put laundry into the dryer that has been thoroughly wrung/spin dried at the highest speed possible. This will shorten dryng time and reduce energy consumption.

Always check that the fluff filters and condenser grille are clean before each use.

Never put dripping wet items into the dryer, this may damage the appliance
-
Make sure the same same kinds of laundry are dried together.
-
Do not add new (wet) laundry during the drying process.
-
Do not open the door during the drying cycle, this will extend drying time.
If you do open the door, close it as soon as possible. -
The Cotton Cupboard Dry programme is the standard drying programme that can be run with a full or half load and for which the information is given on the label and product receipt. This programme is the most energy efficient programme to dry normal wet cotton clothes.

Operate the dryer to full capacity, but make sure that it is not overloaded.

Sorting the laundry
Sort by care symbols
Follow the instructions on the labels of the laundry to be dried. Only dry items that have a statement/symbol that indicates “they can be dried in a dryer”`
Do not dry thin, multi-layer or thick-layer fabrics together as they dry at different levels. For this reason, dry clothes together that have the same structure and fabric type. This was you can get an even drying result. If you think that the laundry is still wet, you can select a time programme for additional drying.
Sort by thickness
Please dry your large (like duvets) and small sizes of laundry separately in
order to prevent damp laundry.
Sort by fabric
Where a load is larger than the dryer’s capacity; separate the items according
to thickness, e.g. separate towels from thin shirts and underwear.

- Turn articles inside out.
WARNING: E-cigarettes, lighters, match-es and other flammable items must not be left in pockets.

- Check the drum for pets and foreign objects before loading with laundry
- Do not lean on the door when loading the drum.
- Place clothes loosely into the drum.
- Put very small or thin items into a drying bag or pillow.

Bulky loads can lead to the door opening. If this occurs, reduce the load, close the door, then press conotinue the Cycle.

Programmes
If you opening the door when the programme is running, the product will switch to standby mode. Once the door has been closed, press the Start/Pause key to resume the programme. Do not open the door when the programme is running. If you have to open the door, do not keep it open for a long time.

Additional programme options
Standby
After 15 minutes without user action in selection mode, the dryer goes into to energy saving mode to decrease energy consumption. The indication blinks. During this mode LED luminosity is reduced. To restart the machine rotate the programme selector dial to OFF and select the programme again.

Drying Level
Usage| Sets the drying level. L0, L1, L2, L3. This adds extra time to the selected programme to increase the level of dryness if desired.
- Select a compatible programme using the programme dial.
- Press repeatedly to select a desired drying level.

- Press Start Pause to start the programme. (Press and hold for approximately 2 seconds).
Delicate
Usage| This option dries delicate fabrics for longer at a lower temperature..
- Select a compatible programme using the programme dial.
- Press **** The delicate indicator is displayed
- Press to start the programme. (Press and hold for approximately 2 seconds).
Anti- crease
Usage| If you do not open the door after a programme has finished, the dryer will automatically go into anti-crease mode, tumbling the laundry intermittently for 1 hour to prevent creases. Use this function to extend the default time to 2 hours.

- Press to start the programme. At programme end the dryer will enter 2hour anti-crease mode
Delay Start
Usage| Allows programme start time to be delayed by 1 to 23 hours (1 hr.
intervals). Once the time has elapsed, the programme will start automatically.
Tip| Long pressing the Delay Start button will increase the time continuously.
- Select a programme using the programme dial.
- Press repeatedly to to set the delayed start time.
- Press to start the programme.
The delayed start time flashes. stops flashing and remains on.`
The programme will automatically start when the time set has elapsed.
Time Drying
Usage| Use this option to set a time period for drying between 0:20 and 3:20
hours.
Tip| Long pressing the Time Drying button increases the time continuously.
Child Lock
Usage| Prevents changes being made by buttons or programme dial during a
programme.
Tip| Child Lock is not automatically deactivated after programme end. You must
deactivate it.
To Activate:
Press buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. is displayed for 2 seconds . The display then reverts to the currently selected programme display.
To Deactivate:
Press Delicate buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. is displayed for 2
seconds followed by 2 beeps. The display then reverts to the current programme
as above.
End of programme
Open the door and remove the laundry
Once the programme has finished, an audible warning sounds and the following
indicators are displayed on the control panel.
Note: The appliance includes an LED drum light. This works automatically when the door is opened. The light goes off automatically after a short period of time.
FIG Note: If you do not take out the laundry after the programme has ended, the 1-hour anti-crease phase will automatically be activated. This programme rotates the drum at regular intervals to prevent creases.
Cleaning and care
Ensure the dryer is correctly ventilated
Do not use this machine if it appears to be faulty.
- Check regularly that airflow through the dryer is not restricted.
- Prevent items falling and collecting behind the dryer. This may obstruct the air inlet and outlet.
- Please ensure that any fluff and lint are removed from all accessible areas, including the floor.
We recommend periodic cleaning of the appliance every 2 months.
Cleaning the external casing and control panel
WARNING: Risk of electric shock!
Mains voltage is present when the washing machine is switched off. Disconnect the machine from the electricity supply before cleaning or maintenance.
WARNING : Risk of damage due to ingress of water.
Do not spray the washing machine with a water jet. The pressure of a water jet can cause water to get into the washing machine, resulting in damage to components.
Clean the casing and control panel with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent and dry with a soft cloth.
WARNING: Damage caused by cleaning agents.
Solvent based cleaning agents, abrasive cleaners, glass cleaners or multi- purpose cleaning agents can cause damage to plastic surfaces and other parts. Do not use any of these cleaning agents.
Cleaning the inner door, seal and drum
To prevent the door sticking and build up of fluff:
After each use, wipe the inside of the drum and the areas shown. Leave the door open for a while to allow air to circulate.
If necessary:
- The drum can be cleaned using a suitable stainless steel cleaning agent, following the manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.
- Clean the door seal after every use with a damp cloth or gently vacuum.
WARNING: Risk of damage due to water ingress.

Water can get into the tumble dryer resulting in damage to components.
Cleaning the filters – IMPORTANT!
Never use the appliance if the filters are not fitted or are damaged.
If garments are not drying check:-
- Is the fluff filter clean and free from lint.
- Is condenser grille clean and free from dust &debris.FIG
Fluff could be ignited if left to build up in the filters.
NOTE: If filters are washed ensure they are fully dried before use.
Cleaning the condenser grille (every 3 months) – IMPORTANT!
Do not use the dryer if the condenser filters are not in place or are damaged. Fluff could be ignited.
Problem solving
Many malfunctions and faults that can occur in daily operation can be easily
remedied. Time and money will be saved because a service call will not be
required.
The following guide may help you to find the reason for a malfunction or a
fault, and to correct.

The programme used might not be suitable for the type of laundry.| Check the
care labels on the laundry items, select a suitable programme for the type of
laundry and additionally, use the time programmes.
The surface of the lint filters might be clogged.| Wash the filters with
lukewarm water.
The dryer might be overloaded with laundry.| Do not overload the dryer.
The laundry might be insufficiently spun,.| Select a higher spin speed on your
washing machine.
The dryer cannot be opened or the programme cannot be
started. The dryer does not get activated when adjusted.
| The dryer might not be plugged in.| Make sure the plug is fitted in the
socket.
The loading door might be open..| Make sure that the loading door is properly

start the programme.
Water tank might be full..| Empty the water tank..
Clothes have shrunk, felted or deteriorated.| The programme used might not be
suitable for the type of laundry..| Check the care labels on the laundry
items. Select a suitable programme for the type of laundry..
Water is leaking from the loading door.| There might be lint accumulated on
the inner surface of the loading door..| Clean the inner surfaces of the
loading door and the surfaces of the loading door.
The loading door opens on its own.| The door might not be closed properly.|
Push the loading door until you hear the closing sound.
The water tank warning symbol is on / flashing.| The water tank might be full|
Empty the water tank.
The water discharge hose might be bent.| If the product is connected directly
to the water outlet, check the water discharge hose,
The filter cleaning warning symbol is on.| The lint filters might be unclean.|
Clean the filters.
