SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Warning

• Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Some items may be packed in polybags; these bags could cause suffocation; keep away from children and pets.
• Do NOT allow small children to play with, in or around the pet feeder.
• To reduce the risk of injury, please keep close supervi- sion when an appliance is used near children.
• Do NOT use the feeder with pets not able to reach the food tray or with any physical disability.
• Do NOT immerse the base part in water at any time as it may damage electronic components like the control panel.
• Do NOT place any foreign object in the pet feeder.
• Do NOT use outdoors. Check operation frequently to be sure the unit is dispensing properly.
• Do NOT use wet, canned or moist food.
• Do NOT disassemble the unit other than as instructed in this User Guide.
• Do NOT use the feeder for anything other than its intended use.
• Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of attachments not recommend- ed or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition. Do not modify the pet feeder.
• Do   not operate any appliance if the unit is malfunction- ing or has been damaged. Do not attempt repairs on the pet feeder yourself. Contact our customer service immediately for further instructions
• Always unplug when not in use and before cleaning.
• Never pull on the electrical power cord to remove the plug from the wall outlet.
• If the plug of this device gets wet, turn off electricity to that wall outlet. Do not attempt to unplug.
• Examine the feeder after installation. Do not plug in if there is water on the power cord or plug.
• To avoid tripping, always position power cord out of the way of foot traffic.

CAUTION

• Do NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. If you are concerned about the power cord, purchase a cord conduit (a hard plastic protector) at any hardware store to protect the power cord.
• If an extension cord is necessary, one unit with a proper rating should be used.
• Do NOT install or store the pet feeder where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below 4°C / 39°F.
• Use alkaline D batteries to power. Do NOT use rechargeable batteries.
• Check the batteries regularly. Before leaving for extend- ed time, always replace batteries with new ones.
• Do NOT lift the pet feeder by lid, food tank, or food tray. Lift and carry it using both hands and the base, while keeping the unit in an upright position.
• Suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble size ranging from 2-10mm/0.07-0.4in in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet.
• Read and observe all important notices listed on the pet feeder and in the packaging.

BUTTONS AND DISPLAY OVERVIEW

Recording Button
In the unlocked mode, press and hold for 3s until a beep is heard. Release the button, start recording (Max 10s), press once to save, two beeps are heard.

Unlocked Button
Before programming, press and hold the button for 3 seconds to unlock the system.

Up Button

• In the unlocked mode, press to increase value.
• In the locked mode, press and hold for 6 to 10 seconds, the display flashes twice, and the current time is 00:00, indicating the resetting is complete

Down Button
In the unlocked mode, press to decrease value

Setting Button
Press to switch between time, meal, and portions.

Manual Feeding Button
In the unlocked mode, press once to feed a portion,

Note: After 30 seconds of standby, the control buttons and screen are automatically locked.

HOW TO USE

Warning: Please use the original SV power supply.

ASSEMBLY AND PREPARE FOR SETTING

1. Take out the food bowl inside the food tank

2. Put the desiccant bag into the carrier under the lid.
   
   Notes:

   • To prevent mold growth, it is recommended to change the desiccant bag every 15 days.
   • Remove the desiccant bag before cleaning the lid.

3. Add dry pet food to the food tank.

Notes:

  * Do NOT use canned, wet or moist pet food.
  * Recommend kibble size ranging from 2-10mm/ 0.07-0.4in in diameter.

4. Put the lid back on. Press down to make sure it snaps into place.

5. Install the food bowl. Attach the bowl to the designated notches underneath the feeder base.

Note: Before moving the feeder, press the bowl down to remove it from the feeder base. If there is grain in the food bowl, handle it gently to avoid spilling Hold the base instead of any other parts when lifting the feeder.

6. Connect Power

   • Plug the 5V power adapter into a power socket and the power cable into the power jack under the feeder.
   • Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit, and install 3 alkaline D batteries (not included) in case of power outage.
   • The LCD display will light up automatically indicating the feeder is on now.

Notes:

1. Batteries are NOT included.
2. Before connecting power, make sure all parts are clean and dry.
3. The battery should power with an output of 4-5V; the battery level icon on the display blinks on a low battery level.

PROGRAM SETTING

Set the Current Time

1. Press and hold the Unlocked button for 3s to unlock other buttons and screen. The lock indicator on the screen turns from to.
   

2. Press the Set button, and the hour digits flash.
   

3. Press the Up/Down button to set the hour. Press the Set button to save. The minute digits flash, press the Up/Down button to set the minute, press the Set button to save. The current time setting is complete.
   
   For example: If the current time is 8:30 AM, first, press the Up/Down button to set the hour to 08, press the set button Up/Down button to set the minute to 30, press the Set button to save.

Set the Number of Meals per Day

After the current time is set, the word “meal” comes up and meal number flashes. Press the Up/Down button / to choose 1-4 meals per day, press the Set button to save.

For example: If you want to set 4 meals per day, press the up button until it shows 1234, then press the set button to save.

Set the Feeding Time & Portion of Meals

Set the feeding time of the first meal

1. Once the number of meals per day is set, the feeder is ready for setting the meal time and portion of the first meal, icon 1 stays solid, the hour digits flash.

2. Press the Up/Down button to set the hour.
   Press the Set button to save. The minute digits flash, press the Up/Down button A/to set the minute.
   Press the Set button to save.
   

Set the portion of the first meal

1. Once the first meal time is set, the portion number will flash. Press the Up/Down button to set the flash. Press the Up/Down button to set the portion (Max 9), press the Set button to save.

2. Repeat the steps above to set the time and portion of other meals if needed. The feeder supports up to 4 meals per day.

Important Notes:

1. It is normal to hear clicks before food is dispensed.
2. One or two kibbles may be left at the chute after feeding, and it may come out of the outlet when the machine is moved (doesn’t indicate a faulty equipment).
3. Refer to the instructions on your pet food packaging for detailed feeding instruction.
4. Please double-check the current time after setting.

Clear All Settings

In the locked mode, press and hold the up button for 6 to 10 seconds, the display flashes twice, and the current time is 00:00, indicating the resetting is complete.

Record a Meal Call

1. Unlock the system first (press and hold the Unlocked button for 3s), then press and hold the recording button for 3s until you hear a beep, release the button, then start recording (Max 10 seconds).
   

2. Press the recording button again to save or after 10 seconds, two beeps are heard indicating the recording is complete. To change the recording, just repeat the process. To check the voice you just recorded, press the Recording button once.
   Notes:

   • The default of the meal call playback is 2 times, and the meal call plays when feeding time is up.
   • To delete your recording, in the unlocked state, press and hold the recording button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep, then immediately press the recording button again, two beeps are heard.

Manually Feed Your Pet

Unlock the screen first (press and hold the Unlocked button for 3s), then press the Feed button, the feeder dispenses one portion of food.

Note: The normal schedule and portion is not affected.

CLEAN AND CARE

• It’s recommended to clean the feeder regularly for the health of your pet..
• The washable parts are as follows: lid, food tank stainless bowl, bowl holder.

Clean the lid, food tank, food tray

1. Disconnect power before cleaning

2. Remove the lid and take out the desiccant bag in the carrier under the lid.

3. To remove the food tray, press down the stainless steel bowl with holder.

4. To remove the food tank, use your thumbs to press the buckles on both sides while pushing upwards at the same time.

5. Rinse and air dry the lid, food tank, food tray thoroughly before refitting them to the machine.
   

TROUBLESHOOTING

No display on the screen|

1. Check whether the power adapter is connected to the socket. If properly connected but the problem still exists, you can install three batteries to see if the problem is solved.
2. If your feeder is only powered by batteries, make sure the batteries have enough power.
3. If the above solutions don’t work, please contact our support team via email.

Kibbles don’t come out.|

1. Suitable kibble size: 2-10mm (0.07-0.4inch), bigger kibbles could get stuck and jam the feeder.
2. Do not add moist or wet food.
3. Empty and remove the food tank, check the chute and food outlet, and remove blockages.

Press the buttons, the display lights up, but the buttons don’t work.| Before programming, press and hold the unlocked button for 3 seconds to unlock the system first
