CoffeePlease read the instructions manual before using the appliance for the first time and save it for future reference.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  1. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; Farm houses; By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; Bed and breakfast type environments.

  2. It is prohibited to make any technical changes to the machine To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plug, in water or other liquid.

  3. Do not use the machine for unauthorized purposes since this would create serious hazards!

  4.  Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.

  5.  Do not touch the hot surface of appliance (such as steam wand

  7.  The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced, physical or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction. Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.

  8.  This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazard involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

  9. The appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shell not play with the appliance.

  10. Do not keep the machine at a temperature below 4°C (39,2°F) as freezing may damage it. Do not use the coffee machine outdoors.

  11. Do not place the machine on very hot surfaces or close to flames.

  12. Connect the coffee machine to a suitable mains socket. The voltage must match the one on the appliance identification plate.

  13.  Do not operate the coffee machine if the power cord is damaged. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the relevant service centre, in order to prevent any risk.

  14.  The power cord should not be placed on corners, on sharp edges or hot objects.

  15.  Do not carry or pull the coffee machine holding it by the power cord.

  16.  Do not remove the plug by pulling the power cord.

  17.  Do not touch the power cord with wet hands.

  18. Power cord should not hang loose from tables or shelves.

  19. Live parts should never come into touch with water. Do not immerse the machine in water.

  20. Prevent children from playing with the machine. Children are not aware of the risks related to electric household appliances. Do not leave the machine-packaging materials within the reach of children.

  21. Do not touch the hot parts (cartridge holder group) of the machine immediately after use. While dispensing the drink, pay attention to any possible splashes of hot liquid.

  22. In case of failure, problems or a suspected fault resulting from falling of the machine, immediately unplug the machine. Do not attempt to operate a faulty machine. Servicing and repairs can only be performed by Authorized Service Centre. All liability for damages resulting from work  not carried out by-professionals is declined.

  23.  The coffee -maker shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use

MACHINE SETTING

STARTING THE MACHINE
Place the coffee machine in a safe place, where nobody may overturn it or be injured by it.
Place the coffee machine on a flat and stable surface, far from water and heat sources. Do not connect the machine to the mains supply. Machine damages due to non-observance of these indications are not covered by warranty.

  1. Lift and remove the cover, then the water tank itself.
  2. Rinse off the tank.
  3. Fill the water tank up to the MAX level indicated, using only fresh drinking water. Fit the tank back into place, then close by using the cover.

Note:

  1. Do not operate the machine if the water is not at least above the minimum level indicated on the tank.
  2. Hot water and other liquids can damage the tank and the machine. Do not operate the machine without water: make sure that there is enough water in the tank.
  3. Fit the supply plug into the power outlet.
  4.  Press switch-ON/OFF buttons to switch the machine on.
  5.  The coffee machine starts the heating cycle. The brewing buttons will start blinking to a light white.
  6.  The machine will be ready for use when the brewing buttons light up to a steady white light white light.
  7. At first power-on, supply at least 0.5 litre of water without capsule placing a container under the coffee spout.

STAND-BY FUNCTION
To ensure the energy conservation the machine automatic passes to the stand-by mode after 9 min use of not being used. The machine can be reactivated by pressing the buttons again.
Capsule compartment
This machine can only be used with compatible capsules; do not put your fingers or any other object in the capsule compartment. The capsules can be used only once.

OPERTING THE APPLIANCE

Coffee Dispensing

  • Make sure that the brewing buttons lights up to a steady white light.
  • Never put fingers or objects in the capsule-holder. Only compatible capsules must be introduced in the capsule-holder.
  •  Single-dose capsules are prepared to dispense one coffee/product. DO NOT use the capsules more than once. Inserting two or more capsules can cause the machine to malfunction.
  • To always have a coffee at the perfect temperature, it is recommended to preheat the cup with hot water. Position the cup under the dispensing spout without inserting the capsule. Press brewing buttons to supply hot water enough to pre-heat the cup.

Dispensing

  1. Place the cup under the coffee dispenser for a classic espresso.

  2. Remove the drip tray to use cups of different sizes for long coffee.
    • If power supply is interrupted during the coffee supply cycle, restore power supply and restart the coffee supply procedure.
    • If during the supply cycle, water lacks in the tank, please press button to stop machine. then proceed as follow.
    – Fill the water tank up to the MAX level indicated.
    – Press the brewing buttons

  4. Insert capsule in capsule holder and insert it back in the machine

  5. Close locking handle

  6. Indicator light starts blinking white while machine is heating up for approximately 50 seconds. Afterwards indicator lights steady white Machine Is ready to be used. Use volume selector to set volume display in accordance with the number of bars shown on capsule, or select amount of bars to your own taste.Pressing the brewing button. Beverage preparation starts.   7. Open locking handle, when machine stop brewing.
    Pull out capsule holder and remove used capsule. Put used capsule in dustbin. NEVER OPEN THE HANDLE WHEN THE MACHINE IS BREWING!

  8. Rinse both sides of the capsule holder with water and dry. Insert capsule holder into machine. Enjoy your beverage

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

DESCALING

  • Limescale normally builds up with extended use of the appliance; the machine needs descaling every 3-4 months and/or whenever a reduction in water flow is noticed.
  • In the event of any operational conflict, this use and maintenance manual shall prevail on any indication specified on accessories and/or components sold separately.
  • For descaling can be used a descaling product for coffee machines of non-toxic and/or harmful type, com merci ally available.
  • Do not drink the descaling solution and products- dispensed until the completion of the cycle. Never use vinegar as a descaling solution.
  1. Remove and empty the water tank
  2. Refill the tank with a descaling solution and water as specified on the package of the descaling product. Refit the tank.
  3. Power the machine ON and place a suitable container under the spout.
  4. Press brewing buttons, and then supply two cups (approximately 150 ml each) of water.
  5. Allow the descaling solution to work for about 15-20 minute.
  6. Switch-on the machine pressing brewing buttons, then proceed as described in steps
  7.  Repeat the steps until the water tank is completely empty.
  8.  Remove the tank and rinse it with fresh drinking water. Fill it completely.
  9.  Switch the machine on by pressing brewing buttons. Place a suitable container under the dispenser. Press brewing buttons, then supply the full content of the tank.
  10. When the water is finished, refill the tank and repeat the steps described in point. When finished, the end of the descaling cycle is completed.

CAUTION: Before cleaning, unplug the machine and let it cool down. Do not immerse the machine in water! It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the internal parts of the machine. Change the water in the tank if not used for 3 days. To prevent damage to the appliance do not use alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning, use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem encountered Solution

Machine does not turn on. Power lights are off after having pressed the brewing buttons.| Connected the machine to the power source. Connected the machine directly to the power source.
The machine requires a lot of time to heat up.| Connect another device to check the power supply. If the problem remains, please contact dealer
The machine is very noisy.| Check the surface.
Check the correct position of the cable into the base of the machine. Fit the movable parts properly.
Top up the tank with fresh drinking water.
Insert right capsule.
If the problem remain please contact dealer
No supply.| Press one of the buttons and check the operation of the pilot light (ON with white blinking light) and the machine power-on. Top up the tank with fresh drinking water. Insert the tank correctly.
Repeat the coffee machine power-on procedure.
If the problem remain please contact dealer
Water leaks at the rear side of the coffee machine| Insert the tank correctly.
Check for leaks in the tank keeping it separate from the machine. If the problem remains, please contact dealer.
Your beverage is splashing out of coffee outlet.| Stop preparation, pull out capsule holder and check capsule. There should be only one hole in the capsule. Throw away capsule if there is more than one puncture hole.
Insert a new capsule in the capsule holder and insert it back in the machine.

STORING THE MACHINE:
If the machine remains inactive for a long time, unplug it and store it in a dry place out of reach of children. Keep it protected from dust and dirt.
WARANTY
No liability is held for damage caused by:

  • incorrect use not in accordance with the intended purposes;
  • repairs not carried out by authorized service centre;
  • tampering with the power supply cable;
  • tampering with any parts of the machine;
  • the use of non-original spare parts and accessories;
  • failure to descale;
  • storage at temperatures below 4°C (39,2°F);
  • use in places with temperature below 10°C (50°F) or above 40°C (104°F);
  •  use in places with relative humidity above 95%;
  •  use of capsules others than indicated. In these cases, the warranty is not valid.
