Inductive Sensor Radio Opening Detector

Product Information

The wireless magnetic inductive sensor (radio opening-detector) is a model called RSW886T. It is designed to detect the opening of windows or doors using a magnetic field. This sensor operates wirelessly and uses radio frequency to transmit signals to a receiving unit.

Technical Data

  • Power supply: 1 x battery of type CR2032
  • Transmission frequency : 433 MHz
  • Transmission range: up to 30 meters
  • Transmission power: (information missing)

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Choose a suitable location to install the wireless magnetic inductive sensor.
  2. If using screws, ensure that you have the appropriate ones for the surface you are attaching the sensor to.
  3. If using adhesive, clean the adhesive surface on the window or door before sticking the sensor.
  4. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape provided (if applicable).
  5. Affix the sensor securely to the desired location, ensuring proper alignment between the magnet and the sensor unit.
  6. Make sure the battery compartment is properly closed.
  7. Ensure that the sensor is within the transmission range (up to 30 meters) of the receiving unit.
  8. Test the functionality of the sensor by opening and closing the window or door. The receiving unit should detect these actions.

Wireless magnetic inductive sensor (radio opening-detector)

  • Model: RSW886T

Installation

  • To affix the radio opening-detector, use suitable screws for each surface.
  • You can also use adhesive for affixing the radio opening-detector. Suitable adhesive tapes are already provided.
  • Make sure before sticking that the adhesive surface on the window or door has been carefully cleaned.

Operation

  1. Programming a radio receiver to the radio opening-detector
    • Shift the radio receiver (e.g. a wireless incorporated switch, a radio-controlled socket, etc.) to programming mode. Please refer to the operating manual of the radio receiver (usually press the button on the wireless receiver for more than 3 seconds, until the LED begins to flash on the radio receiver).
    • Press the programming button of the radio opening-detector until the light stops flashing on the radio receiver and remains lit instead. The load connected to the radio receiver is switched on.
  2. Deleting programmed receivers from the radio opening switch
    • Shift the radio receiver to the programming mode. Please refer to the operating manual of the radio receiver (usually press the button on the wireless receiver for more than 3 seconds, until the LED begins to flash on the radio receiver).
    • Press the programming button of the radio opening-detector (for at least 3 seconds), until the light stops flashing on the radio receiver and goes out instead. The load connected to the radio-receiver is switched off.

Note

  • The max. mounted distance between detector and magnet is 15mm.
  • The battery indicator lamp will flash when the battery runs low.
  • Open the door or window on which the radio opening-detector is mounted. There must be a minimum distance of 20 mm between the radio opening-detector and the magnet (note arrow positions), so that the radio-opening detector can detect this as an “open door / window”.
