Installation Precautions

  1. We strongly recommend installation by a licensed  electrician.
  2. Read the instruction manual carefully and save it for future reference.
  3. Before starting any work, always shut off the electricity.

Mounting Surface Preparation

  • The mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, and strong  enough to support the lamp.
  • The mounting surface should be at least 1/4 larger than the  canopy on all sides.
  • If there are any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16, correct them as required.
  • Ensure that the ceiling or wall can bear the weight of the lamp before installation.

Usage Instructions

  • Avoid placing the lamp near acidic and alkaline substances to prevent damage to the lamp’s surface.
  • When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it cools down as bulbs can get hot quickly.
  • Follow common sense, caution, and care when using any  electrical products.

Q: How do I turn off the power before installation?
A: Follow these steps:
1. Go to the main fuse or circuit breaker box in your home.
2. Place the main power switch in the OFF position.
3. Place the wall switch in the OFF position.

Q: How do I make the installation?

A: Follow these steps:

  1. Pass fixture wires through tubes and tighten tubes onto the fixture body.
  2. Screw tube bolts onto the fixture body.
  3. Open quick links and attach them to loops on the canopy and tubes.
  4. Close quick links and pass wires through the loop on the canopy, ensuring they are not stressed.
  5. Unscrew hex nut and cap nut from the single bar.
  6. Attach the single bar to the outlet box with mounting screws, ensuring that the side marked GND faces out.
  7. If needed, shorten the length of fixture wires, leaving at least 6 inches above the single bar.
  8. Make wire connections as shown in the provided wire connection chart, ensuring not to connect other wires to ground wires.
  9. Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly  joined and wrap each connector with approved electrical tape.
  10. Carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
  11. Raise the canopy to the ceiling and secure it in place by tightening hex nut and cap nut onto the preassembled threaded nipple on the single bar.

WARNING (To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury):

  1. We suggest installation by a licensed electrician.

  2. Please read the instruction carefully and save it as you may need it at a later time.

  3. Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
    A) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
    B) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.

  4. Mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected as required.

  5. Make sure that the ceiling or wall can stand the weight of the lamp before installation.

  6. Make sure the voltage you are using is 120V. The maximum wattage is 40W per bulb.

  7. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances in case of damaging the surface of the lamp.

  8. When replacing bulbs, you should turn off or unplug the lamp and you must wait until it is cool as bulbs get hot quickly.

  9. The safety instructions appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions that may occur. It must be understood that common sense, caution and care must be used with any electrical products.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included  as shown in the above illustration.

  2. Make preinstallation

  3. Step A1: Pass fixture wires through tubes (J), and tighten tubes (J) onto fixture body (L).  Screw tube bolts (K) onto fixture body (L).

  4. Step A2: Open quick links (I). Attach quick links (I) to loops (F) on canopy (E) and tubes (J). Close quick links (I).
    Carefully pass wires through the loop (F) on canopy (E) and then gently pull the wires to ensure the wires are not stressed

  5. Turn off power
    Before you start the installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

  6. Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.

  7. Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.

  8. Make installation

  9. Step B1: Unscrew hex nut (G) and cap nut (H) from single bar (C).

  10. Step B2: Attach single bar (C) to the outlet box with mounting screws (B).
    Note : the side of single bar (C) marked “GND” must face out.

  11. Step B3: If needed, shorten the length of fixture wires. At this point, the remaining wire length measured above single bar (C) is at least 6″.

  12. Step B4: Make wire connections
    Connect wires as below wires connection shown. PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUND WIRE IS BARE COPPER WIRE, NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.

    Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly joined, and wrap each connector with approved electrical tape. Be sure that no wire strands are exposed and then carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.

  13. Step B5: Raise canopy (E) to the ceiling and secure canopy (E) in place by tightening hex nut (G) and cap nut (H) onto the preassembled threaded nipple on single bar (C).
    NOTE : The canopy (E) should be snug against the ceiling and cap nut (H). If not, adjust the threaded length of the preassembled threaded nipple on single bar (C) by unscrewing the preassembled hex nut and then screwing the preassembled threaded nipple in or out of single bar (C) until the secure length is achieved.
    Tighten the preassembled hex nut and back to step B5.

  14. Step B6:

  15. Unscrew socket rings (O) from sockets (M). Secure glass shades (N) onto sockets (M) with socket rings (O).

  16. Install bulbs (not included) (Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.)

  17. Check everything is already installed properly, then you could turn on the light. Enjoy!
