Easily portable

Power Source

Do portable speakers work

The audio is subsequently decompressed, decoded, and amplified using the built-in speakers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it beat the block at the beach? I need something loud?

The one guys says it wasn’t loud enough for an “industrial situation”, and I could see that if you were working around construction equipment or something, that would make sense. It’s also not as loud as a PA speaker (but it’s also 1/5 to 1/10 of the size of a real PA speaker and it’s battery powered and very portable). I found this thing to be very loud for the size…WAY loud enough for indoor use, and loud enough that I got some dirty looks from my neighbors when used outside. The thing I like about it is that the sound is CLEAN.

Is the bass as strong as the bose sound system ? or like doss ? i want hard subwoofer like bass

There’s Nothing like Bose. It’s good but not Bose

Is the newer model louder than the older model?

I never compared. Im assuming, they are the same. Try to YouTube it.

Can you hear it when riding a moped?

Odd question but yes, it’s loud enough to disturb vehicles along side of you.

How well does a standard SM58 microphone sound through it?

Just amazing!! I was so so happy when I received this monster, I’ve tried it and boy it’s absolutely amazing. The sound and the bass is just what I wanted.

Can i bring this on airplane?

Yes you can, I travel with mine all the time in the hand baggage

Battery lights all blinking. Any idea whats wrong?

Can’t be sure. It works just fine for me. As long as you charge it for at least an hour or two after each use, there shouldn’t be any problem with the battery.

What is the difference in audio specs between the ‘older model silver’ and the ‘updated model black’ ? Also, ‘ravebox’ audio spec compare ?

The new model is full black and water resistant the gray is not water resistant.

Is this speaker louder then UE Megablast?

Definately for sure! Your trying to compare a mid size or small speaker to a large madhouse? Thats not gonna happen.

Does the recharge with cigarette lighter?

I don’t know charged it b4 I leave my house.

Does it have an AV port to plug in a movie projector?

It has a 3 5mm audio input port.

How many watts is this speaker?

It does not say on the speaker, but this thing is so loud I am not even putting speakers in my van and in a house it is super loud. Outdoors, it is loud, and the only thing louder would be an actual amp.

Is this the original one although this is more expensive than jbL boombox?

Is original jbl more expensive.

Can i use and usb storage?

No, Bluetooth or AUX

Does the speaker come with charging cords?

Yes…110V electrical charging cord w/transformer

Can you pair two of these?

Not likely. Though it is a double-sided speaker, which I would say is even better yet.

Can this pair with other Monster Bluetooth speakers or lanterns?

Maybe haven’t tried it yet.

Does it play louder when its plugged in

Have actually never tried but doubt it makes a difference.

Is this loud enough for an outdoor dance fitness class? Music easily gets dissipated outside and we need it loud!

Remember it’s just a speaker system, so it depends on what you have connected to it…but yes! it does get pretty loud and I’ve only used it outside. Enjoy!
