WARNINGS!

• Adult Assembly Required
• Keep these instructions for future reference.
• Prior to assembly, this package contains small parts: hardware which is a choking hazard and may contain sharp edges and sharp points. Keep away from children until assembled.
• Place this product on a flat surface for stability.
• To prevent tipping and potential injury, do not attempt to stand the basketball set up without first filling the base with 40 lbs. (18.2 Kg.) of sand (not included) (Step 6). The unit may fall over without weight in the base.
• Step 5 – Follow net attachment illustrations 1-3 exactly! Always make sure net is attached completely. Make sure the black label on the net is along the bottom edge.
• This product is intended for use by children ages 11/2 – 5 years.
• Do not allow children to sit, stand, play or climb on the top surface. Failure to do so may cause the product to become unstable.

IF BALL NEEDS AIR:

1. Use a standard athletic inflating needle available at most sporting goods stores.
2. Moisten needle to insert into plug.
3. A bicycle pump is recommended to pump air into ball.
4. Inflate ball to approximately 6” (15 cm) diameter.

DISPOSAL

Disassemble and dispose of equipment in such a manner that no hazardous conditions such as, but not limited to, small parts and sharp edges exist at the time equipment is discarded.

A Few Things Before You Start!

Recommended (not included)

• B Rim (1)
  

• C Base (1)

• E1 Top post (1)
  

• E2 Bottom post (1)

Now for the post

1. Insert bottom post (part E2) into base (part C). Push down until the post is fully seated into base.
   

2. Insert top post (part E1) into bottom post (part E2). Push down.
   

Put it all together!

Insert backboard (part A) into post/base.

Let’s Go! Attach the rim

Insert the rim (part B) into the backboard

1. Press on one side of rim until you hear it click into the backboard.
   

2. Press on other side of rim until you hear it click into the backboard.
   

Attach the rim -cont

CHECK THE BACK BEFORE YOU CONTINUE.

Flip the backboard over and check to make sure the RIM is flush to the backboard.

Pull “UP” to adjust

Nothin’ but net

Follow the below steps to properly attach the net (part D) to the rim (part B)

1. Thread loop up through hole.
   

2. Pull loop under notch.
   

3. Pull down to tighten loop around notch.
   Repeat around entire rim.
   

WRONG

Get ready to PLAY!

Fill the base (part C) with sand.

Fill the base (part C) with sand.

At the sole election of The Little Tikes Company, the only remedies available under this warranty will be the replacement of the defective part or replacement of the product. This warranty is valid only if the product has been assembled and maintained per the instructions. This warranty does not cover abuse, accident, cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches from normal wear, or any other cause not arising from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period is three (3) months for daycare or commercial purchasers.
