Safety Information

1. The LED light strip consumes DC 12V power. NEVER connect it to DC 24V.
2. Do NOT immerse the light strip/controller/power adapter into water.
3. Do NOT light the strip on for over Ss while it is rolled on the plastic reel.

**Installation Guide

**

1. Download the Refoss app. ****

2. Connect the power cable and power the device up.

3. Set up the device.

4. Make sure your smart device is covered by a strong Wi-Fi signal.

5. Launch the Refoss app and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap Sign up to create a new account.

6. Tap the”+” icon to select the type of smart device you want to add, then you can just follow the setup wizard to finish the configuration.

7. Relocation of the smart device does not require additional operations provided that it remains on the same network with a strong Wi-Fi signal.
   NOTE,

8. If this is not the first time you’ve added this smart device, you’ll have to reset it before going any further.

10. Use the provided clips or the tape on the light strip to hang or attach the device to the place you desire. Note : Please be careful not to tear off the adhesive tape.

NOTE
Please make sure the surface is smooth. dry. clean. DO NOT stick the LED strip on such surfaces, such as knitted/wool fabrics, dust walls, rough plastic surfaces, or frosted glass.

Tips , How to make a 90-degree turn with the smart LED light strip?

LED and Button Rules

1. CD LED light strip:
   Flash 3 times to enter into configuration mode.
   Flash smoothly from Red to Green to Blue to Warm to Cold White: Successfully connected.

2. Power:
   Short press to turn the light strip ON/OFF.
   Long press Ss to factory reset the light strip.

Amazon Alexa :
The example commands are as follows:

• Alexa set the smart light strip to red.”

• “Alexa, dim smart light strip by 30%.”

Google Assistant:
The example commands are as follows:

• Hey Google, brighten the smart light strip.”
• Hey Google, set the smart light strip to cool light.”
• Hey Google, change the smart light strip to magenta

FAQ

At Refoss. we strive to assure your satisfaction. Attached below is a non- exhaustive list of questions that users are mostly concerned about.

1. Can I cut and splice the light strip?
   Yes, the light strip is cutable. Please use the provided connector to splice the 2 light strips. as the output of the provided power adapter is only 12V/1.5A. it can support powering up a light strip of 16.8ft long or less. NOTE,
   Please make sure that the metal terminals are exposed and meet each other.

2. How do I reset my Smart Wi-Fi LED Light Strip?
   Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. it will reset and enter Wi-Fi configuration mode. Note that factory reset will erase all your custom settings, and you’ll have to set it up again.

3. What should I do when my Refoss app is unable to control the added Smart Wi-Fi LED Light Strip?
   Please check the following:

   • Check the main Wi-Fi internet connection.
   • Make sure the main Wi-Fi password hasn’t been changed.
   • Hold the button for 5 seconds to reset it and try to add it again.

Refoss products are covered by a 24 months-limited warranty from the date of their original purchase. If any problems occur. please contact [email protected] for help.
